I am into speed lately and Jimmy John's is good at making subs so fast that I almost did freak. I don't come here often as I am sick of hearing Mr. Jimmy John complain about Illinois taxes, but when Ambrosino's is closed it is a good alternative. I always order the number 9, the Italian Nightclub. It is a solid Italian sub with a good balance of meat, cheese, mayo, and dressing. To round out my meal, I add on two of my favorite things in life: salt and vinegar chips and a fountain cherry coke. Healthy? No. Delicious? Yes. The staff in this location are very friendly and were quick to greet me as I walked in the door. They were adept at communicating with each other, taking phone orders, and working as a team. We live rather close to the Frankfort location but will drive out to New Lenox for better service. Went in yesterday a few minutes after opening to grab two simple orders: giant plain slim #1 WITH cheese and one without. I ended up discovering I had a plain slim with cheese with maybe 4 slices of ham in the giant. Then the second sandwich was TURKEY - which neither of my kids will eat. Unfortunately we did not have time to go back so I wasted money for a giant that no one could eat (I am celiac). The turkey sandwich also had barely any meat in it. The guy behind the counter stared at me as if I was rude to come in a few minutes after opening while his coworker took over the phone orders. There were no customers in the store. Just me. I went this morning to New Lenox - same sandwiches, online ordered, and for exactly what I wanted with sandwiches properly and fully made. Zero issues. I've had several issues with incorrect orders at the Frankfort location - not to mention the slowest service almost every time. I'm two minutes from Frankfort and ten from new Lenox. I'll drive the extra 8 minutes for reliability and service. read more

I don't think most people go to Jimmy John's and ask for a pickle cut in half expecting to get this! Also, it's extremely soggy and not at all crunchy. Their pickles used to be one of my favorite things. I hope the rest of my meal is better. read more

Previous review was about the online ordering. This time it's food quality. Order the Club Lulu and Jalapeño Ranch Wrap. Had the wrap same day. It had plenty of chicken. Pretty tasty. And is a tad spicy for those that don't eat a lot of hot spicy things. Had the Club Lulu the next day Very disappointed with the amount of meat. It only had what seemed like 1 slice of Turkey on each half of the sandwich that had been folded over to fit on the bread. I felt like like was eating a bread sandwich with mayo lettuce tomato and a strip of bacon. The competition of sun shops put more meat on their subs and you don't have to pay extra for it. Poor service 08/24/2021 Phone app order -1 unwich, 1 bag of chips 11:32 am Status update "Ready for pickup": 12:24 pm After 15 minutes into our 52 minute wait, I attempted to call the restaurant several times - always went to voicemail (unprofessional, poor business). Complained to manager (Jeff) asking for charges to be refunded and 2 cold drinks be provided because Sam (our puppy) and I sat waiting in our hot (90*F) van for the JJ app to update us on our food being ready. Jeff did not offer any compensation for the delay blaming it on being busy (note; "help wanted" signs were posted at the front window). When I questioned Jeff on his decision not to compensate me for the restaurant's poor service, he simply shrugged his shoulders. When I told him I'd be reporting the poor service "up the chain" he scoffed and said "you'll just be talking to me." Long gone are the days of taking care of customers, compensating for service that doesn't meet the business's own promises ("Food so fast you'll freak!" and general cordiality. would give zero stars if could because i would appreciate if the driver did not try to call me a liar when i saw him grab the food he said he delivered to my house off my neighbors porch. Called the store the manager did not even care and when i asked for a refund he said "i mean it is only across the street" so what I do not want food that was put on someone else's porch and then driven around for 10 more minutes because your driver wanted to say i put the wrong address down. They can't get an order correct to save their lives. Ask for cucumbers you get pickles, close but no... Every time I ask for extra peppers there are 3 on the whole sandwich, if 3 is extra peppers is regular peppers half a pepper? Asking for a friend. Had no problems with my food order. Can out fast and correct. My problem is the bags. I came in and ordered 3 sandwiches, 3 chips and 3 drinks. I was alone so I had to juggle my order since the only bags they have are the paper. I carried out 2 bags and 3 drinks. No drink carrier was offered so I don't even know if they have them. No one from the store offered to help me get the food out. Not sure how but I made it. And Jimmy johns got 4 stars despite their customer service. That's a win win in my book. read more

Pretty similar to most of the negative reviews Employees there are very disrespectful its very obvious they cant stand working there. I live less than a mile from there which made it very convenient so i thought but when you have to drive there and back because they messed your order up then they have an attitude about it. Horrible management. Yelling at employees while customers are in the store. Manager throwing things at employees. They are always messing up my order. If I ask for my sandwich without something they forget to take it off. Constantly head employees coughing while making my sandwich.
