It has been quite awhile since I have been to this Jimmy John's area. Being a tuna maven, I generally choose to have my tuna for lunch in sushi form but was with my wife who felt like a turkey sub so she won out. Walking in, I appreciated the very clean environment, fun decor , and the enthusiastic friendly faces anxious to take my order. With that said, the tuna on club was filled with an ample serving of fresh, tasty tuna salad, on a very good roll.The tuna had just enough mayo to wake up my tastebuds but not overwhelm tuna's unique flavor. My wife had the turkey club which she enjoyed, thinking it tasted like fresh roasted meat rather than the pedestrian turkey roll many sub places serve . I have nothing but good things to say about JJ's (other than the questionable ethics of the owner outside the business). JJ's is a great place to come if your looking to pick up literally the fastest sandwich ever made. They have the best bread of all the chain sub shops and the JJ Gargantuan sub has to be a top 5 sandwich in the area, no foolin. I felt pretty awful after ingesting all those cured meats, cheese, and mayo, but that was to be expected and was totally worth it. The restaurant itself was surprisingly nice. It had a very modern feel and was very clean (although it wasn't too crowded both times I was there). I even brought my books for a study session and it was quite serene. At the end of the day, I ask myself "will I come back to Jimmy Johns?" and my answer is yes. I don't get the buzz for this place? I got the #3 Totally Tuna and the bread was dry and hard. There was barely any mayo or dressing on it. The tuna salad itself was so bland and devoid of flavor (and I am a big tuna salad fan) that I had to "fix" the sandwich with salt and pepper and extra mayo when I brought it home. If this is a health food thing, then it's definitely not my thing. Another Yelper quoted the old Wendy's slogan, where's the beef? Took the family to the Quince Orchard Road Jimmy John's last night. It was our first time at Jimmy John's, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Grandparents loved their food as did the little kids. We got five subs and all were delicious. The sub rolls were very fresh and the meats were particularly tasty. My mom got the thick whole grain bread which aligned with her diet, and it was so good the rest of us were jealous. We got the kids tuna Slims which was a good size for them. We should have gotten more bags of potato chips because they went quickly. One huge cookie was enough for the kids to split. read more

I was highly disappointed with my sub. I got a Vito's and the capiola was missing. (Couldn't complain as I got it to go) So I basically got salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato and peppers. The tomatoes had refrigerator burn so I had to pull them out. The dressing was underwhelming and I wished I had asked for salt and pepper. The bread was really cold and didn't taste fresh. The staff was very friendly when I arrived so that was a plus. The soda machine was a hot mess. Missing lids, only a handful of straws. And finding napkins was impossible. My first time in the area and so I decided to try and go with a trusted sub shop for dinner. I worked late and this didn't want to go back out once getting to my hotel. So I called up and tried to place an order key word was tried. When I called it was told they are not doing deliveries due to it raining. Naturally my reply was are you serious? And the rep said yep no delivery because it's raining. Well needless to say this place has lost a sale for everyday this week for some of the poorest customer service over the phone I've dealt with in a while. Stopped by on trip back to northern VA. Wegot three sandwiches one roast beef one ham and cheese and one salami special #9. The roast beef was a number 10 on the menu. The kids loved it I liked it a lot and the kids usually prefer Subway sandwiches. one of my kids think this is much much better than Subway. We were impressed and surprised how good the sandwiches were. They only have cold sandwiches no hot sandwiches though. read more

I've been a long time jimmy johns customer, from when we got our first store in Rockford Illinois, years ago! And when I moved here a year ago, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't one near me. You can ask my wife, when I saw the sign that said "jimmy johns, coming soon" I was so excited! The fresh bread, the delicious deli meat and cheese and fresh veggies, not to mention the free smells! I couldn't wait! I went in shortly after opening day(may have even been opening day) and got my usual #9 Italian night club, add hot peppers, and since they were still likely training it took a little longer for my sandwich to be ready than usual, but it was just as delicious as ever! Since then, every time I have paid them a visit, the subs have come out freaky fast, just as advertised, and they keep getting more delicious! read more

There was one employee in here but he seemed to do a good job pointing out to me what some recommended subs were. I ordered the Italian club master and it was good simply put. Just walked in Quince Orchard, these young people were extremely rude! They acted like I had cooties! I told them several times I had never been there before and they were staring at me like they didn't care who I was and what I needed help with. Only the young lady there was helpful. No hot sandwiches, which is disappointing. Very small delivery radius, which is disappointing. I moved last year into their delivery radius. Upside is that the delivery minimum is one sandwich and they do not skimp on the quantity. One sandwich is possibly good for two meals. read more

Decided to try a sub from Jimmy Johns and ordered the #1 Pepe. A simple ham and cheese with L/T/M. When they handed my sub to me I asked them why the bottom of bread was so hard? I was ensured it was freshly baked. Ok, not a big fan of hard bread that could possibly loosen a tooth crown, but I didn't press the issue. Got all the way to my destination and took one bite --- the sub was tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever! I don't care for much meat which was great because the sub literally had two slices of thin ham. Meat lovers forget the #1. I was so disgusted I tossed the sub. Kinda sounds like a portable john company. Anyways, I've had Jimmy Johns in Chicago for the first time years ago and it was good, so was excited to grab an Italian sub. Went on one of those snowy days where nobody ventured out on the roads. I really love Italian subs and my favorite is from Jersey Mikes and Casapullos in Rehoboth beach. So when I got the sub, I thought it was not done yet. Like Wendy's slogan where's the beef, where's the meat?! It was there but biting into it, all I could taste was the lettuce. Maybe this was a veggie version and they just messed up my order. Asked them, and nope it was an Italian sub! I'm no Italian sub expert but I do like to taste the combination of the Italian meats with a smaller portion of lettuce, tomato, dressing and some hot peppers. Definitely not satisfying at all! Ruined my craving and crushed my appetite for the rest of the night. I had to drive by a KFC to grab their new popcorn chicken that was a total ripoff! Cuz KFC popcorn chicken was so bad, I then had the craving for the Taiwanese fried chicken at Asia Taste/Jumbo Jumbo which I got the next day and was delicious. Came in to place food to go Thursday, October 17 and I was really happy with the customer service. The gentlmen working greeted me promptly at the door was very attentive. This was by far the worst sub I have ever eaten. I got a porker something rather, and the bacon was ice cold. The lettuce is yellow. The mayo was everywhere. Not to mention the guy forgot what kind if sandwich he just made for me, so he has to reopen it and run his grubby fingers through it. Never going back. McDonald's is infinitely better.. First, they had no deliver driver, so i had to come pick up my delivery order which was already inconvenient. Then i had to recharge my credit card because the manager had voided my initial order, after being effectively charged twice, i got home and realized that there was no lettuce, sauce, or herbs on my sandwich, i called in to the store to make them aware of this and the initial employee handed the phone off to the manager in the middle of me talking without a word, and then the manager told me that there was "nothing he could do" if i didn't drive all the way back for them to remake it. Called to complain about a sandwich that was made wrong (AGAIN) for someone who has food related allergies. Didn't seem to really care. Said I called back too late. That he wasn't the manager on duty and couldn't confirm said order... Like for real? It happened on a Friday at a work event and I called the following week when I was back to work. Didn't want to do a darn thing to make it right. Sorry we will keep your money, do nothing to fix our mistake and tell you too bad it's too late and sorry I wasn't manager on duty so I cannot confirm or deny this order. LOL. I ordered a veggie sub and asked for olive oil and vinegar on the side and the employee proceeded to tell me that they didn't do that. I then proceeded to tell him all the Jimmy Johns that have done it for me in the area and out of the area in other states. Terrible customer service!!!! I would like to start this out by saying I love Jimmy John's subs... however this location in particular is awful!! I forgot to ask for my sub to be cut in half at the register so I asked the guy on the line making the sub before he made it and he said he would. I received my sub and it was not cut so I brought it back up and asked them to cut it and another guy (the manager) gave me an attitude and told me next time I need to ask them to cut it at the register. I sat down and ate my sub.. it was tasty and I was almost finished with the second half when I find a piece of hair baked in to the bread. I bring it back up to show the guy who is making the sandwiches and he tells me the manager is going to take care of it. The manager walks over to the sandwich line, makes me a new sub and gives it to the guy to hand to me. I'm no longer hungry at this point, was not offered an apology or any type of explanation. I was simply just handed a new sub with a "here you go mam." That manager needs some training on customer service and Jimmy John's needs to improve on the way they handle things.
