This was my first time to a Jimmy John's. I usually head for Jersey Mike's or Subway. I have heard so many good things about JJ's and it's just subpar. I had a Subway the other day that tasted better. The girl as I walked acted like she didn't really want to be there. It was a Sunday about 2pm and I was the only one in there. Love Jimmy John's but I'm done. Ordered delivery at 634 online. Waited an hour and a half and nothing. Finally called and was told delivery driver walked out. The lady said she would have called me but she was the only one in the store. Couldn't give me a delivery time estimate. Finally arrived at 842. TWO HOURS AND SOME CHANGE for two sandwiches. Called the following morning at open to discuss a credit or refund. Was told by shift leader that no one had walked out and was confused by the situation like he didn't believe me. Offered a refund but couldn't do it until 3 days later supposedly so I took the credit on my account. Just called to place an order using said credit and was told no credit on my account and rudely told me there was nothing she could do. Not worth the bs anymore I'll go to Jersey mikes. Jimmy John's food is legit (it it often), not so much this location's delivery speed. Over an hour wait and food felt old. Called twice and both times = "I'm sorry, it's out for delivery." 30 min later, still no food. Not so "Freaky Fast". Speed delivery advice... don't send 10 orders out with one driver! I love JJs! One of my favorite sandwich shops. My order is always right and fresh. The reason for the 3 star rating is because the last few times I ordered it took almost an hour for delivery. When I called up there they said "It'll just be another minute" and was 20 minutes longer. Also my sandwich was very fresh (not soggy or anything like that) which tells me they weren't actually out delivering when I called. Do not claim freaking fast delivery if you aren't. I can no longer support this restaurant after receiving our latest DoorDash order from them. We always enjoyed their food WHEN we could get a decent portion of food for our money. We ordered from them regularly, on average about 4 times a month, over the past five years but can not continue. The service has gone down to the point where if they sound remotely interested in our order we over looked the blank stares and consistent orders made with missed ingredients or a ridiculously small amount of an item. Example: order a vegetarian sub and got 8 slices of cheese on a regular size with 4 small tomato slices and 2 slices of cucumber cut in half. That was it!!!! We have had to call them frequently in the past two years over this issue. We supported them all through Covid ( small/local business) and that is how we are repaid. Done! They ought to be ashamed of themselves for blatantly robbing people!! read more

If you are looking for a pure sandwich shop that makes great sandwiches this your place. Their bread is baked fresh and is really good. They also offer a good variety of lunch meats. They also offer delivery but it is for a limited area. In my opinion their food is so much better than subway read more

If you never been to a Jimmy John's before, it's essentially a subway style restaurant. In comparison to subway, the subs are generally shorter in length but more dense and hearty, with a stronger focus on the bread itself. The reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is the service. I've been going here on and off for years now and even if I haven't shown up in half a year, they remember me and sometimes even start preparing my sandwhich them moment I walk through the door (I always order the same thing these days). Great sandwiches. I'm one of those that usually finds one sandwich that I really like and sticks to it. But at this place I have a hard time picking each time I go. The tuna with cucumber is great. The turkey with avocado is awesome. And the Vito, an Italian with hot peppers, is amazing. My only reason for not giving the fifth star is they're problem with their delivery area. They pride theirselves on their fast delivery but they only cover half the town. Not a big deal to go get it myself, but would too the charts if I could get delivery. read more

Sandwichs come in a variety of types. Combos are sandwich, chips and a drink. Sandwichs are eight inches in lenght. Limited on toppings and they do charge extra for those toppings which don't come on a sandwich. You can buy leftover loafs of bread for $0.50 which were made the day before. read more

I used to go here until I called for delivery one night. I had family in from out of town and we were going to order 10 sandwiches. I live off Walton Ferry Rd and I am exactly 3.2 miles from their store. The guy with a very crap attitude told me they don't deliver to this side of town. Why they even claim free delivery is a mystery to me. So since they can't drive the three long miles here, I drive the extra mile past them to go to Firehouse Subs which is a far better sub anyway. If everyone outside of their delivery zone did the same, I'm sure they would be happy to deliver outside of a one mile radius. read more

My wife and I tried Jimmy Johns the other night after hearing so many good things. To make things fair I got a sub and my wife got a sandwhich so we could try both. They load them both up with plenty of good delicious ingredients. We were NOT disappointed! It was also fun to read all the interesting signs on the walls. I would give this a 5 star rating if they added whole wheat to their sub choices. Currently they only have only white bread for subs but wheat for sandwich bread. read more

They put on their Facebook website a header promoting the $1 sub for customer appreciation day, but once I arrived they said they aren't doing it! A very cheap way of getting foot traffic if you ask me. I won't be back. Penn Station tastes better anyway. read more

WOOOO HOOOO! My Gluten Free Friends FEAR NOT- There is an UNWICH option! I have had several of the lettuce wrapped sandwiches from other places and have always been disappointed but not this time- Jimmy John's Unwich is AWESOME! I got the "Hunter" with cucumbers and sprouts and it's the hands down BEST lettuce wrapped sandwich I've ever eaten! It makes me less sad that I can't eat bread- it's a little messy but soooo worth it. Anyone who has to eat Gluten Free or is watching carbs- Try the UNWICH- you won't regret it... read more

I think their sandwiches are good just not great. I have tried to order delivery and wasn't in their delivery area. I'm less than 3 miles... Just saying that the corporate policy is terrible, just to be able to advertise super quick delivery. If it's to far for them, then to far for me. read more

I personally have always kind of thought sandwich joints were a bit of a cop out in the restaurant business, but these guys do it right. Food is fantastic, owners are awesome people, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I work at Sun Tan City next door and so it is very convenient to walk next door and grab a quick lunch or drink. They are always so nice and by the time I get my drink they will have my sandwich ready and will always say thank you as I am walking out the door. Great customer service! read more
