    Sad looking salad

App ordered a southwest salad, brought it home to find a poorly made salad with the large heel of a lettuce head, crushed corn strips you would find at the bottom of a bag and little to none of several ingredients like the black beans and corn. Very disappointing especially since the manager gave only a refund of the salad and not the whole order including the drink. Good customer service would have been to refund the FULL order as well as a credit for a future order. Just worked a long 13 hour shift and now I need to go find someplace that is still open.

by far one of the best sanwitches i had in a longggg time sam the girl who took my order was very polite and nice and very patient with me and since i didnt know what to order this young man named isaiah suggested i get the BLT+A and it was soo good and the sanwitch was made by mattie and cooper great job on the definitely would come again5 STARS!!

you can see the blonde hair inside the wrap

there is a long blonde hair in my wrap... everything else about my order was fine, but I don't appreciate there being a hair inside my wrap and the managers at this location aren't very helpful

BLT+A on 9 grain and a Southwest Cobb salad.

It's been long time since I've eaten at a McAlister's. This place is pretty new so there was a line out the door when we arrived. It moved along at a decent pace, and we received our food quickly after ordering. Portions are big for the price. My only complaint is that the food standard was inconsistent/low (i.e.: on my BLT+A I had only a tiny sliver of avocado, and my husband's spud could have used a bit more chili.) I'm going to chalk it up to being busy and new.

Sometimes they also cheat me out of my portions. I.e. they give hardly any actual salad mix when I add on extra meats (I paid extra).

We went on a Tuesday evening and got there right before it got busy. By the time we were settled in, people were already waiting. The drinks were SO good. The Mezcal drink was delicious, but the gin drink was my favorite. It had a little sweetness to it, but don't let that fool you because it will catch you off guard. Very good though. We ordered the pork chop with mac and cheese and a salad, and the catch of the day which was scallops with corn risotto. The pork chop was huge, but unfortunately dry and could've used more flavor. The orange topping sounded good, but I wanted that flavor to come through more. The mac and cheese was a hard no for me. Too bland and runny. The salad and honey mustard were good. The scallops were a little overcooked but still good, and that corn risotto was probably my favorite part of the meal. So much flavor. Would we come back? Yes. The music was diverse and the atmosphere is laid back. Next time we'll probably try something more familiar because those burgers coming out looked GOOD, and I want to try the wings too.

I've never had a problem at Jimmy John's, but I did today. I went during my lunch break and ended up in a small argument with one of the employees. All i ask was that my sandwich be toasted. He proceeded to tell me that they can't do that. I asked they can't heat it at all for me? He told me it would be an extra five dollars if I wanted to heat my sandwich even though I can't eat cold meat. I told him that was fine if I had to pay the five dollars just so that I could get my sandwich toasted. I never told him I was pregnant, but he jumped to the conclusion that I was (i'm not showing) and made a scene with a full restaurant by saying "my mom never listened to the doctors when she was pregnant and she ate cold deli meat. I think people overreact." First of all, I'm glad that she was able to do that. Second of all he assumed that I was pregnant. I could've had some other medical issue which stopped me from doing that and for him to try to guilt trip me into eating a cold sandwich that could've potentially harm my child is crazy. Lastly it's extremely rude to tell me how to raise my My Baby and telling me that it's OK and that I shouldn't listen to my doctor. Mind you he was a Hispanic middle-aged man and had no place to tell me what I need to do. I ended up paying for my sandwich and leaving. I won't be returning to this location and I will make sure to tell my friends not to go to that location too.

Several takeout orders later...amazing Italian food! Ordered the margarita pizza, salmon pasta, and cannoli for dessert tonight. All were excellent! The staff did a great job explaining the menu and helping us understand the different dishes, which we really appreciated. One thing that surprised us was that it isn't a full-service restaurant--you order and pay first, then find a table while they bring out the food. We ordered a variety of pastas and pizzas so we could try a bit of everything. The pastas were the stars of the meal. All four pasta dishes were excellent, each with its own unique flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Our pizzas came out a little later, and by then we were already full from the pasta. We ended up taking them home, and they were still delicious even when we ate them later. The only downside to our visit was the temperature inside the restaurant. I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working properly, but it was quite warm inside, and by the end of lunch we were sweating, which made the experience a little less comfortable. Overall, the food was excellent, especially the pasta, and we'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. Hopefully, the temperature issue was just a one-time occurrence.
