BEST SANDWICH AROUND The sandwich is really good. I ordered the J. J. Gargantuan. It was really big and had a lot of stuff inside. The staff is very friendly and very polite. Not much seating, but you go in there for food really. Personally it's way better than Jersey Mikes. I don't know if the prices are the same but I feel like Jimmy Johns is a little pricey-er. I get called 30 MINUTES after placing my order. The moment I answered, the lady said would you like to cancel your order. I asked why, was there something wrong with it? She said that it would take another 45 minutes for my sandwich to be delivered and that there was only 1 driver with 7 orders in front of me. Why is it that they waited AFTER 30 minutes to tell me this. I was pissed so obviously I canceled it. I'm still waiting for an email confirming that it has been refunded. So as far as I know they charged me for an order, failed to inform me in a timely manner that it would take a total of 2 hours to receive my order, and even after canceling it, still have not received a refund. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I am letting all my coworkers and friends know to not order from here anytime soon. read more

I can't believe this place! Went there today at 3:45 pm and they were locked up tight! Sign on the door says they are only open 11-3, M-F!! All the other locations in surrounding cities are open normal hours, 11-7 except on weekends. I've never seen a major chain open 4 hours a day. What is the owner thinking?? Good sandwiches, never seen the inside of the shop but every employee that's come to our house thus far has been quite friendly. Sandwiches usually show up between 3 and 5 minutes of order, helps we live right around the corner, but this was still beyond my initial expectations. For everyone complaining about the customization options of their sandwiches in store, try ordering online, I've removed mayo, added vinaigrette, cucumbers, cherry peppers and mustard to every sandwich I've ordered and every last one has come over exactly as I detailed it online. Only mistake made so far was the delivery of Sweet Tea in place of regular iced tea one time, so whoever was complaining about them not having sugar for their tea may want try asking for that if they go back. Lost a star for being excessively expensive, but otherwise kudos. read more

I absolutely LOVE Jimmy John's, it's quick, good and fills you up. Flaws with this location: 1. They go cheap on the meat... It's a sandwich, and I pay good money for it. LOAD IT UP! Don't go so cheap... 2. They have a very high turnover rate. Literally every other time I order, there is a new person delivering. I get it, who want's to deliver. But keep your employees. I love Jimmy Johns in general, but I REALLY love this location. They amaze me each time I visit because, by the time I'm done ordering, my sandwiches are all made and ready to go. They really are "freaky fast". All of the staff are very friendly and constantly have a smile on their faces. I don't know how they always manage to be so perfect, but they should just keep doing what they're doing. Not vegan or vegetarian friendly. To begin with they don't even change their gloves after touching the meats when they are preparing the veggie subs, and their cheese contain Animal enzymes as well. Then they touch all the veggies with the same gloves they handled the meat with so definitely no difference even if you ask them to change gloves before doing your sandwich since all the condiments have been exposed to the meat. read more

Glad to have found this Jimmy John's location. We dined here on 11/24/20 at about 5:30pm. The staff(especially a young man who took pride in serving us in a professional/friendly manner) were pleasant, helpful and efficient(order was completed promptly). The sandwiches, as in all of Jimmy John's locations I have visited, were delicious. Also, there is a nice area at the location where you can enjoy your meal outside. I don't know what their food is like, and I never will. As I drove by today, their driver (white pickup) pulled out of their parking lot and began tailgating me. Then, he cut off the driver next to me, just to go around and cut me off, so he could tailgate the driver that I had been following. Over the next half mile, he made at least 5 unsafe lane changes, and nearly caused several accidents. I know that this is just the driver, but when I called the store, I was greeted by the girl on the phone. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was placed on hold for more than FIVE MINUTES, until I finally gave up. I figure this way the manager may actually hear what happened. If I was the manager, I would want to know so that I would not have to deal with my driver causing an accident and hurting someone. read more

Went into get a drink and a sandwich tonight around 9:30 p.m. and the music was so loud that my ears are still ringing. Maybe I'm getting a little old, but shouldn't you feel relaxed in a restaurant? The sandwiches are good but not great. Love the crushed ice for the drinks. They are known for being fast but I also want a well made sandwich. I don't like that they just throw your sandwich up in the counter and then you have to go back and ask for napkins. Then you have to reach over the counter and get your own. First time hubby & I tried out JJ's, but won't be our last. We were greeted by Julie, a friendly worker. I ordered the Italian Night Club #9 and hubby got the Country Club #11 (ham, turkey & provolone). Both sandwiches were delish....(we preferred JJ's to Jersey Mike's or Subway). The bread (French), meats & cheeses were so tasty! When I asked Julie what "Jimmy" peppers were, she kindly gave us samples (they are a jalapeno & red pepper blend & spicy good). We mentioned it was our first time trying JJ's & she surprised us w/ 2 free cookies, which were also soooo good! Great customer service AND great food are hard to find, but it's definitely here! HORRIBLE in every way!!! First time there Ordered a turkey provolone (giant club) as they call it should be called a 1 slice of meat and 2 slices of cheese on each half of the sandwich. They claim 8 inches and double meat and cheese. They dont have oil or salt and pepper or regular mustard or pickles for the sandwich just sad. Sunday November 29th. My 3 year old daughter and I walked into this store while my husband was in the car. They had no customers at the time and several employees standing around doing nothing. I came in to order six sandwiches to go, only to walk out and go across the street to Jersey Mikes where we got exceptional service. When I first walked in, I was greeted with "what can I get you "not a hello from the very start. I requested a smaller size sandwich for my daughter who is only three and regular size Sandwiches I was told I could only order the mini or whatever it was called, but would not be allowed to add tomatoes or anything else to the sandwich. I found this odd but continued with my order and instead ordered her the large sandwich so that I could get what I wanted on it for her. As I continued with my order I requested a sample of the tuna due to the fact that I am pregnant and I cannot eat deli meat. Since my taste buds have changed due to my pregnancy, I wanted to see make sure that I liked the tuna versus ordering it then not liking it. The girl looked at the guy behind her and asked if that would be acceptable and he said NO. I looked at them and told them forget it cancel my order I'm going somewhere else. They didn't care. I went across the street to Jersey Mike's where they helped me and also catered to my daughter and I. There, they gave her a kids meal which was a small sandwich with tomatoes. The thing that got me the most was the tuna sample. At Jersey Mike's they had no problem letting me sample the tuna, which I ended up ordering there. I ordered the Beach Club which is Turkey, cheese, avocado spread which was hardly there more like a smear. This review is for Jimmy Johns fans- those of us who have waited and are excited to have JJ in California. My husband and I loved it so much that we've considered investing in a JJ. So why am I giving this a two stars? Let me first say that The JJ we are used to (that we frequent in Las Vegas Whenever we are there), serves super fresh and delicious bread, provides fast service and fresh ingredients. The sandwiches we got today had bread so hard, dry and (seemingly) old that you could knock on it. It wasn't even a fluke because both of our breads were the same. We went for lunch a few weeks ago. It was too crowded for its small location. Sort of imagine a closet with windows and its loud, really loud. I asked for the turkey sandwich with pepers on the side. They would not give me any on the side. I aksed pretty nicely. Actually they said it was company policy that everything goes on the side. I found this to be the most redicilous company policy. I said, wow nothing on the side. I want to try them just not in my sandwich. (I like to eat them with the sandwich). I said wrap them in a couple of napkins. The guy said we will only do this once for you and never again (pretty rude). I said, no worries I won't be coming back. When I got the order (to go) the sandwiches were on the counter, no napkins nothing. I said, can I have a bag? This is to go. He pushed them in a bag. Still no napkins and the line was so long in the shack I couldn't even see if they had any napkins on a counter. Got home to eat my sandwich hardly any meat at all. It was 90% bread. It tasted good, however the experience of no sides will result in this company either not lasting long or loosing business. Girl at register kept trying to up sell and offered chips with our sandwiches as if they were included. I had to ask twice to get a straight answer that they were not included with the sandwich. She then tried 3 times to up sell my sister on a large drink after she repeatedly said she wanted the less expensive drink. The whole time the girl was smiling, like there was nothing wrong with her practices. I told her that she was being misleading and she just apologized quickly, kept smiling and brushed me off. For a company that has been around since the 80's, you'd think by now they would ha e gotten with the program and ordered side containers so people can get sauces or peppers on the side. They told me that they peppers had to be on the sand which or I couldn't have any at all. Fine, so I had them cut the sandwich in half and put some peppers on one side. Good, right? No. The marked the sandwich that did not have peppers as hot and left the one that did have peppers unmarked. They are lucky as hell that I did not bite into a pepper when I did take a bite. I cannot have spicy foods. First time there, probably my last. The only reason they received more than one star from me is because the sandwich was decent. No where near to as good as Jesery Mikes, and I get better service there too. read more

I am sooooo angry!! I have been receiving delivery orders from this place over 20 times since they have opened, and NOW suddenly, they tell me that we are out of their delivery range. They say that their eastern delivery boundaries are Mountain Ave. in Claremont. Last time I checked, my work place is still WEST of Mountain Ave. Even though we are west of Mountain, they still consider us out of range. That makes NO SENSE! Ugh! I am so angry! I went here last night, the atmosphere was amazing! The staff was friendly but the food was mediocre at best. The bland bread makes subway seem like a 5 star restaurant.
