Amazing how disappointed we were on this recent visit. The cashier got my order completely wrong, I asked for extra items on my burger, was charged for them but didn't get them. The buns on my burger were ICE cold. I asked for well done fries, and they were not. The employees delivering food were auctioning them off in the dining room with no clue. Another table near us, all their order was wrong and she wasn't happy about it. rather than complain about the awful service and food, I've decided I will never give them my $24 again, and return to the one on Reynolds Rd. I tried to rate Culver's 2 stars because our Door Dash delivery was missing soft drink, all the food was of poor quality, & the onion rings were remarkably stale. But, despite specifically asking for my feedback via Door Dash, after I wrote all the details, my submission was refused saying it required a photo. I took a photo of my written details, adding that I could not photo what we did not get, nor what we ate that we did not like, & tried submitting that. It too was refused saying what was required was not detected in the photo! Clearly Culver's does not want feedback because they request it & then make it impossible to submit. So, now I rate them 1 star & plan to tell everyone I know to avoid dealing with a restaurant that specializes in delivering aggravation. We did not realize McDonald's was so superior to Culver's! (Comparative cost was roughly $50 for 2 burgers & sides, admittedly delivered, but I have a lot of experience with restaurant deliveries & this experience was the most disappointing of now several years of frequent deliveries. Culver's is always a good choice for good food, in a clean and friendly restaurant. It looks like prices have gone up since my previous review. Today we had a butter burger basket with fries, an order of four chicken fingers and I tried thechicken sandwich. The burger was good as usual. The chicken sandwich did not seem to be a good value as the burger or chicken fingers. It was a small breast meat breaded dressed with a little shredded lettuce and small tomato. I have visited this location many times. Inside the restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly. The food is served fresh and hot and it's always tasty. I really haven't had a bad meal here. The drive through is efficient, and even though they stay busy, they get your order out to you in a timely fashion. Favorites are the frozen custard (of course!), onion rings, and cheese curds. They also make a great burger and the pot roast dinner is perfect if you're not in a burger kind of mood. For years I have wanted to have the Culvers fish sandwhich. I remember the Wisconsin fish fries that they reference in the comercials from summer vacations in Wis. with my grandparents. Today we had to be in Lexington so we went and I got my first Culvers Fish Sandwich... and it was not all that well executed. The fish was so greasy it ran ou of the fish soaking 4 napkins. There was no salt, hardly any tartersauce and hardly any cheese. I was disappointed to say the very least. The last 2 bites were so soaked with oil it fell off the fish. I ordered my meal at 9:20 pm and the lobby closes at 10. I drove 3 hours to eat here and especially for the custard. At 9:45 after my main meal, I went up to purchase custard. I bought 5, 1 for each of my family members and spent $15. I waited with my number patiently. At 10:01 I went to front because I never got it and they told me "we already closed our icecream machine good night" and I never got a refund or my custard. I will give Culver's a 5 star rating as it is a cut above other fast food establishments. Culver's was founded in 1984 in Sauk Wisconsin. I really find it hard to make a meat choice between a great butterburger, fried pork tenderloins, roast beef sandwich, chicken sandwich or fish sandwich. Some Wisconsin Cheese Curds or chicken tenders are both great selections. They are all excellent choices. For desert try one of the concrete mixers or frozen custard. I always get burgers or chicken tenders here, but today I got the cranberry bacon Bleu salad. I have to say it's too notch with hot grilled chicken on top.
