Update 11/25/25 I am a regular customer and received an email about a new dish they are offering called "Chicken Lemonato", so I ventured here to see if this an item I could indulge in since I have so many food sensitivities. I talked directly with the chef (and I think he's an owner as well). He advised me the Chicken Lemonato is not gluten-free or dairy-free. However, do you know what he did? He offered to cook me some chicken with just olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper! A customized dish just for me! I am blown away at the accommodations he offered to make for me, and so grateful. I rounded out my chicken with two of my favorite sides, lemon potatoes and green beans (Greek style...definitely not your average green beans). I thanked them profusely because this is truly above and beyond! The atmosphere is always inviting and today they were playing some beautiful Greek music as well. read more

WOW, we were impressed!! My husband and I stumbled upon Athenian Grill while walking near the mall and had to come inside. After a brief discussion we decided to stay and were directed to find our own seat by the manager. We sat next to a lovely family celebrating a birthday and had a most wonderful experience chatting with them. The food was exceptional! I got a build your own gyro bowl and was very happy with it, and my husband's pasta was delicious as well. This restaurant has been a favorite for years, even since they first opened and have had a few different locations. This location is my favorite. I really like how they have added the new menu options. The old favorites are as good as ever, and my new favorite is Santorini Chicken. The service is also great which had been hit or miss at the Euclid location. I can't wait to go back. read more

I cant believe that I just discovered this place! The food is excellent! You can order off from the buffet line or the menu. The food is very flavorful and the service is pleasant and hospitable. There is indoor seating in an area that is decorated nicely. There are also tables outdoors if you happen to have your dog with you like I did. The restroom is well maintained. If I could give it 1,000 stars, I would! I got discouraged from trying new Greek food, or Mediterranean food, spots in Lexington a long time ago. Although Mediterranean cuisine is one of my top three, I just couldn't find something authentic and fresh nearby. Finally, I decided to try Athenian grill through DoorDash and boy was I in love! Not only is it super fresh, there are plenty of authentic dishes you can't seem to find anywhere else. Everything is reasonably priced, the portions are great, the service is fast and staff is friendly... I have been eating here or ordering to-go almost every day for the last two weeks. I highly suggest giving them a try, my go to order is usually the gyro with roasted lemon potatoes and baklava for dessert! My husband loves it too. Since they are by the mall parking can be a little tricky but there is always plenty regardless. Overall 10/10 read more

Have eaten there twice and food and service are wonderful. The restaurant is bright, friendly and has patio seating. There is limited liquor service but who needs it with such great food. I can whole heartedly recommend the mosusak and Greek beans. Lovely desserts too. A must visit. read more

I ordered a build your own gyro bowl with the classic protein option and garlic dressing! The garlic dressing was amazing, one of the best condiments I've ever had, I could have finished off two or three cups of this! My food overall was good but the tomatoes were not ripe and I felt the toppings like onions, feta, roasted corn were a bit more on the skimpy side. read more

Food was good. But they had one job to put the sauces in a cup. My hummus was put on aluminum foil with the pita. The tziki sauce was not even put in the bag smh. $7 down the drain. Also, one of the orders has potatoes which was not asked for. It's a shame I have to check my bag for this place. That is usually reserved for fast food restaurants that have a drive thru. Hey Boss, make sure your employees at this location know how to read and follow directions. Also, it was confusing to have the "hostess" greet us with menu then tell us we can sit or go up to order. Holding a menu to go soon as we step in only to see there are more menus including the big board up front was pointlrss for the host to hand us menus. If we are to be seated then the menus should be presented after we are seated. Make it clear. read more
