If I could give zero stars, I would. The teenagers working here can barely communicate, and their lack of social skills makes ordering a frustrating experience. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get, and to make it worse, they won't even deliver to my place--only about 3 miles away in a small town like McMinnville. That's ridiculous. This is by far one of the worst sandwich shops I've been to, and I will never go back. Never come to a jimmy johns before and I come in and ask for a turkey and provolone only and the staff is acting like it's rocket science and can't do it without charging me another $4 on top of the normal sandwich price. The manager came over and asked and was completely rude to me. I ended up not ordering anything because they were so rude and I've never have had worse service at a simple sandwich shop for a simple sandwich. Highly not recommended. Worst sandwich I've had since the subway sandwich I ordered nearly 3yrs ago. I had to upgrade my order to get it toasted... OK! I took away the bacon and added avocado and they never added it and yet I paid nearly $2 more for that sandwich! I've never had such a thin sandwich in all my life and I added vegetables to it. Well as many veggies that they had... which isn't much! I made the mistake in going to the wrong place, thinking the red building was FireHouse... my mistake! They didn't have any of the subs my mom wanted, so I have no idea if she'll eat it or not? $25 for two regular sized sandwiches that should of covered 2 meals... well that was a joke! Wasn't greeted when we entered. Wasn't farewelled or thanked when we left. Stood in front of the register waiting to be served and two of the employees saw I was there but didn't greet me, they were doing something else on the register screen. This review is about your ridiculous delivery policy. You advertise that you deliver all over town. I have gotten mail in my mail box about you delivering in my area. And yet, when I call, you say you don't deliver to me. Even though I'm in residential McMinnville, and google maps says it's 2.1 miles and a 7 minute drive, you won't deliver. Every other delivery restaurant in McMinnville will deliver to me. 7 minute drive! I'm practically in walking distance. So this place doesn't really deliver. It's just not true. I have never seen evidence of delivery. They just have a car rolling around town with a Jimmy Johns tag on it. I don't know what their delivery boundaries are, but I imagine that you have to be within smelling distance of the store to actually get a delivery. I love this places sandwiches and was incredibly excited to see one open in McMinnville, but it was disappointing to find out their delivery range is crummy. I work and regularly attend Imagine: Play and indoor park for kids, just down the road (1.75 miles) and tried to submit a big delivery order for a group...we were out of their range?! Are you kidding....less then 2 miles on the same road and we are out of range? Complete turn off to this place considering their greatest asset for marketing is the freaky fast delivery times....I guess they achieve that because it is such a small radius. I just finished my #10 Hunter's Club on a bread roll instead of classic bread and I added avocado spread, it was phenomenal. The service was humorous and all 4 of our sandwiches were great and made to order, including the one we customized. As I read some of the other reviews mine isn't much different. I have been to other locations with no issues but it seams that the McMinnville location struggles to say the least. After ordering in the drive thru I was told that they are out of French bread. How is that even possible for a sandwich place? I asked for No tomatoes and cucumbers on 2 ea #12 (receipt even says it) both had tomatoes and cucumbers and then they left off the avocado that is supposed to be on the sand in the first place. When I ordered our slim 6 (cheese and bread only) the girl even said "you know that's cheese and bread only?" And I responded with "yes....that's exactly what we need". That sand ended up being another wrong turkey sand with tomatoes and cucumbers with no avocado. When I called the store I expressed my irritation with how wrong everything was I told the girl that we will manage with what we have but I really need the slim 6 (just cheese and bread). She told me I had to bring the entire order back for them to fix it. Family wasn't happy but more unhappy about the prospect of giving up what they had at that point. When I asked for the manager she informed me that she was the manager. At that point I realized this was a pointless situation for me to take on. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone! The ownership needs to strongly rethink the path this location is heading down. read more

This chain is usually pretty good, however I don't recommend the McMinnville location, one visit the kid that was delivering copped an attitude about where I parked because it must be in there delivery car area, although not marked as such. Another visit they didn't even greet me at walk in, no other customers in there. Finally came to counter didn't say a word, took order, no receipt then went back to work, all without commenting? I know these kids don't know how to talk to people anymore since we're not computers but this is a bit ridiculous. They may make fast sandwiches but the customer service here sucks. Two of three sandwiches were made incorrectly. When we approached the counter to ask them to make it right, the counter helper said we had to talk to the manager. Really?!? You need a manager to approve putting a few cucumbers and avocado (that we're paid for and clearly show on the receipt) on a sandwich? The manager then proceeded to tell us he couldn't fix our sandwich, he would have remake them, which seemed like a complete waist. The man who was working the sandwich bar refused to remake, telling his manager he was busy. There were two other orders in the que! He needs to find a new job. Very disappointing. I drove 5 miles back to the store and was told they were remaking the sandwich. When they finished, the girl who waited on me thru the drive thru called out the #5 and slammed the sandwich on the counter. I was kind of shocked and started to leave as she abruptly walked away. I told her to not cop an attitude with me since she was the one that made the mistake in the first place. Got back in my car and called the Mgr again and told her what happened.
