Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy. Her attitude made the entire interaction feel relaxed rather than rushed. We initially planned to order our food to-go out of respect for the time, but Chanel encouraged us to dine in, letting us know that they serve guests right up until closing. That level of hospitality--especially at the end of a shift--goes a long way and was truly appreciated.
