This was our second time trying this place since new management. Order was prepared wrong again and this time the employee told us the grill wasn't heating properly so we had to wait for our order. No problem for us to wait to ensure a hot sandwich but get the sandwich right. The last time we visited was never 'corrected' by management even though they said they would. Sent my son to this location to pick up a pastrami sub. The pastrami was delicious along with the other ingredients. The bread ruined the experience.i ordered it with the rosemary bread. Unfortunately the bread was either old or stale. The bread was so dry that I had to constantly drink something to wash it down. Maybe because it was late (8 pm) . This Melissa location is fantastic, the food is always fresh when we go and there have been a few times where I'll put a customization and it was missed for a pickup order, I emailed to let JM know and they were quick to reach out and resolve. I've been going to JM in Dallas off of Preston and one off of Greenville. They don't disappoint their sandwich are yum and filling! Since I'm home I wanted to introduce my family to JM, that I've bragged about. I'm embarrassed to say these sandwiches off Lake Forest in McKinney are sad looking, especially the Giant Philly. The ham and cheese with Mikes way was really good, even missing the pickles I ask for on side. The Philly was not at all how I've had in the Dallas stores! In past the Philly was very filling and not all bread. The bread was not toasted or grilled. So not worth the $15 for giant. I ordered thru the app, ask for curbside delivery. Just here to say that I came in at 6:30 pm tonight and wish I would've told the shorter curly hair guy to learn some damn manners. I stated "on the rosemary" and then went on to say what I wanted and towards end my husband mentioned that he put a white bread top on so I mentioned that he put the wrong top on and he rolled his eyes and had the ugliest rudest sigh almost as if he wanted me to know he was annoyed by his mistake. If he were smart he would've just took the rosemary top from the other sandwhich and put it on mine instead of making it a big issue. We went during their opening weekend for lunch on Saturday and it was pretty much what you'd expect from a newly opened establishment- everything clean and well-kept, cheerful employees. My wife ordered the chicken cheesesteak and I had the Reuben. Both were tasty, with generous portions of meat and cheese. I was a little disappointed with their fountain soda selection- Pepsi products, although they had a couple flavors of Stubborn Soda. All in all, not too bad. Hailing from from Philly PA, before finding Jersey Mike's I was convinced that I would never find a place to get a decent "grinder" or "hoagie". Wrong, I was. Jersey Mikes is in a really good spot. There are not many eateries in this corner yet. Right now they need to be working hard to get a fan base before chick fil a and Sonic move in. The employees were plenty friendly. It wasn't very busy. The pros: What I've always liked about Jersey Mikes is the fresh cut sandwich meat. That's always plus to have fresh cold cuts. Cons: On this visit, I had a meatball sub. I asked for it toasted. Some sandwich places have meatballs in a slow cooker heating all-day. I have no problem with this. It actually infuses the marinara and meatballs together. Jersey mikes had the meatballs refrigerated and had to heat it up on the flat top. Unfortunately, the meatballs we're not heated thoroughly and were still cold. Another weird thing is they toasted the outside of my hoagie, not the inside. You toast the inside so the bread will not get soggy. Toasting the bread creates a barrier so the bread stays intact. Um, pretty sure that's basic sandwich 101. I will not be getting a meatball sub from them again. I didn't enjoy my meatball at all. read more

This restaurant is a gem, due to the fact that it is one of the only competently run establishments in the area. The other places typically have closed up dining rooms and employees that will hide from you rather than serve you food. This Jersey Mikes has good management, friendly and hardworking employees and serves food that the head office would be proud of. If you run a nearby fast food restaurant and wonder why you are going broke, visit this location and take notes. This location is terrible. Tried curbside once and no one came out so had to go in and was told " ya if we're busy it's hard for us to get out". Why have the option if your staff can't accommodate. Place has messed up my order through the app twice, with the most recent being so frustrating we drove back and had to get a new sandwich. I guess it stands to reason that I am the first to review since I was also their first customer. I was about to go to Kroger and saw on the grand opening sign that they were opening yesterday 4/24. I came out of Kroger right at 10:00 and drove past to see an open light and the hours posted on the door that had them open at 10:00. We walked in, and they said we were the first. I ordered a regular (6") Philly Cheese Steak on white to go. Price was $8.93 after tax. You can be your own judge on value, but despite the fact that it was a tasty sub, that is more than I will probably pay again for a 6" fast food hot sub. The couple of employees I interacted with were polite, and the food was prepared quickly. I'm glad I went since it just opened and it had been a while since I had been to Jersey Mike's. The curbside pick-up that they advertise on their website is a lie. If you place an order for curbside pickup, there's no place to park for it, there's no way to tell them you're there, and if you go in you'll just have to wait in line until they can even help you, which is exactly the same as going inside to wait in line to order. I made an online order to take to my daughter and her family...they just had their second child. Right after I placed the order, my daughter texted and asked me to come later because they had trouble getting the two year old down for a nap. One of the sandwiches had vinegar on it, so I knew it would get soggy. I called and the owner answered. Even though the order was already done, he agreed to remake it at a later date. I have never tried Jersey Mike's before... I was out running errands with my kids a few weeks ago, and it just happened to be close to the store... Not only did I love it, but my kids did, too! The meat is so fresh AND doing it the Mike's Way has to be the best sandwich that I have ever eaten! The service at this location is outstanding - they were upbeat and super helpful to newbies like us! We have been back twice now & we will continue to eat here!
