I feel like I'm eating at a different place than some of my fellow Yelpers. My wife and I have dined in here twice, and had take out once, and at all times, the food has been excellent. We've stuck to the standards, classic cheesesteaks with either hot or sweet peppers, or both. Once, my wife got the BLT, which was good at the time, but unsurprisingly, the lettuce and tomato don't keep well, and the portions always dictate leftovers for us, so we'll skip that next time. The bread on our sandwiches has been fresh and soft, with no off notes either texturally or taste/smell. The meat and cheese have been tender and well seasoned, and at a good ratio to the bread. The hot pepper can really lean towards the hot side; I almost feel like asking for a third hot and two thirds sweet. :) Bottom line, we've had three great experiences here and are glad to have this restaurant so close to our home. Hoping some of my fellow Yelpers just hit them on a bad day, but it really works for us! read more

Food is decent. The young guys that work there do a great job making people feel welcomed and honored as customers. The manager could take some notes from these hard working kids. I use that term lightly as I am 45 lol. But seriously she had a bad attitude because my coupon code wasn't working on their app when I know it wasn't a ME issue. She honored it but not without some side eye and snark. I don't need that and you should treat customers better especially after you just reopened and I had literally been waiting to try this place. My kid begged me to go back today and I had to say no because of my last visit. Hard pass for me but food was decent and those kids work hard. Bathroom was a bit dark but aside that it was clean and the location is well appointed. My star rating is legit for those workers who made sure I had everything I needed and was happy. Hey Capriotti's Crew and the world..... First I want to say that the sandwich I got was "the bomb"! However............ I am very displeased with the manner in which I ended up with what I "NOW" know was optional.... at an additional charge. Since the sandwich was basically a Thanksgiving meal on a bun, when the order taker/server asked if I wanted the gravy on the sandwich or on the side, and this being my first time to darken their door, I said, "on the side". My sandwich was a very reasonable $7.99. Ordered! Expect ill with tax to be $8.50-ish. NO.... $10.26. By the time it registered that something was amiss (by my thinking) she was wrapping up the order for me. I reminded her (I am sure she didn't have a clue about the story) of the mom and pop store that kept a hand broom by the register and on every order, they would automatically scan the broom. Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy. Extremely underwhelmed. I ordered the homemade turkey & my husband got the cheesesteak. I found the bread to be overly doughy without the yummy french roll flaky crustiness. The sandwich had no flavor. We ordered it for pick up to go. So luckily I could add some pickles & peppercinis. My husband was not crazy about the texture of the roll either but other than that thought it wasn't bad. Definitely will not go back. There are much better options out there. read more

Finally got a chance to eat here and it was so worth it! The shop is very chill and comfortable. Staff were all super attentive and nice! We tried the capistrami and the grilled Italian. A small is 8 inches and cut in half so we were able easily split and try both. They were both fantastic but the grilled Italian was next level good! read more

The food is quite good and the place was well-decorated and clean. The employees, however, could all use some customer service training if not some basic skills in human interaction. The shop was empty when we walked in and neither of the employees behind the workstation greeted us or said a word as we perused the menu. Finally a third employee came out from the back and stood behind the register. Not a word of greeting. We said "hello" and started giving him our order. When he did speak it was barely audible. The food was pricey, but it was all well-prepared with large serving sizes. Halotus chose the cheesesteak and I had the tuna. Both sandwiches were brimming with filling and fixings. After multiple visits over the past several months, the service continues to be lackluster, slow, and orders are often incorrect. When the food is made correctly, it does taste good, but the slow service, lack of being greeted when you enter, and confusion over coupons cancels that out. This is a nice business that I hope figures out that employees need training in customer service. read more

I went there today with my daughter her husband. It was 11:30 and there was already a line. Seating is somewhat limited. There is a table right in the entry way and was pretty much the only one available for more than two people. It was uncomfortable sitting there with people in line both in front and behind us. I ordered the waghu roast beef sandwich and soup. My family ordered waghu cheese steaks. I got my food right away. It was 35 minutes before they got their cheese steaks. We had to hunt for napkins. The place is not laid out well and the service is very inefficient. The food was ok, not great. It's not worth the wait. Call in orders and pick them up, although there is not a separate line for pickup. I am afraid this place won't make it. read more

Tasty sandwich with quality meat and toppings. Generous portion size. The owner, Stan, was very friendly and helpful. I had skipped the Peppers when ordering the cheesesteak. Love these sandwiches! The turkey sandwiches use pulled turkey instead of sliced deli turkey, so it's much more substantial and higher quality than other sandwich shops. I've tried the Cole Turkey and The Bobbie & like both, but prefer the Bobbie - it's got stuffing and cranberry and reminds me of Thanksgiving in a sandwich. People this place is from the north east. It is a great place if you know what to order. They are known for their Bobbie which is thanksgiving on a sandwich. It is so good. Their cheese steaks are good too. Stick with what they do well and you will be happy. It is a mainly a to go place. They don't have many tables and yes the cheap metal chairs are uncomfortable but please support this place. Got The Bobbie and supposedly vote the greatest sandwich in America. Comes with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. The sandwich was extremely dry, only one bite of stuffing and cranberry sauce without mayo. For 14.49 I should have gotten a better sandwich or at least the one advertised.
