Excellent high quality sandwiches on toasted bread, great sides (like potato and pasta salad), excellent chips hat are in-house, and nice cookies. I got the spicy east coast Italian and tuna sandwiches and they have a lot more flavor than Subway. Wish they had more drinks like maybe raspberry flavored iced tea (I made an Arnold Palmer by combining the unsweet ice tea with lemonade). Quick service and also relatively spacious decor. The Picklewich is a fantastic sammich!!! the pickle is not at all overwhelming and has a great CRUNCH. the Nightclub combo was great as well. The bread is always fresh. My husband and I have been eating at the same location on NW Expressway for at least 10yrs. In the past their sandwiches were packed full of meat,lettuce,onions and tomatoes. Sadly our last visit was extremely disappointing. You needed a microscope to find meat or veggies. We will not be returning. Their prices have also gone up. I love Jimmy Johns. I'll take it over any other sandwich place. It's fast, it's fresh, and it's in so many locations. It's honestly one of my go-to places when I need a quick, cheap meal. The club lulu, or #16 cut in half is my all time go-to order. This is a sliced turkey breast BLT. JJ's also has a great selection of chips, and their giant cookie assortment for dessert is also really good. They have just recently introduced their "Kickin' Ranch", which is a ranch sauce with hot cherry peppers puréed and added into the sauce. Grey touch there. I recommend it. 5 stars. For the "fast casual" category, it hits all the marks: availability, affordability, and it just tastes really good. Something about the Hellmann's mayonaise which really takes their sandwiches to the next level. PS: oh, you know I have to talk about ambiance. Next time you're there - take a look around at the pictures, passages, and just overall neat posters on the walls (even in the bathroom). My wife and I live right down the street from this location. We were excited to have a Jimmy John's so close for times we weren't feeling like cooking. Experience #1: Ordered delivery. 50 minutes later the wrong sandwiches arrived. Experience #2: Not trusting delivery, we placed the order and walked down to pick it up. Got home to find the incorrect order. Experience #3: Chose to eat at the physical location. Ordered the food and sat down. 15 minutes later, I went up and asked what might be taking so long (trying to be patient). The response? "I don't know, I didn't take your order." Nobody was making the sandwiches, and the print out was gone. The manager on duty had to look up the order at which point I just wanted my money back. No attempt of resolution or apologies were made. I just got the money back and left. I like Jimmy John's, but I will never give this location my business again. It has even successfully made me cringe at other Jimmy John's locations. read more

I don't always eat a sub sandwich but when I do, Jimmy John's is the impersonal, corporate sub shop for me! I have been enjoying their subs for years and was exciting to see them begin to arrive on the Oklahoma City scene. Going to Jimmy John's is an adventure of sorts. Well, that might be a bit of hyperbole, but it is always interesting to say the least. Making Subway and its ilk seem gauche by comparison, Jimmy John's offers up a hefty dose of humor and aphorisms with its subs. And, boy am I a sucker for humor and kicking knowledge with my sandwiches! You realize you will soon be eating subs in the rareified air of a Jimmy John's when you see the large neon sign tantalizing you with "Free Smells." They also boldly proclaim that they are "America's Favorite Sandwich" with an asterisk to the side with mice type underneath "delivery guys." Well, I say much like Reagan to Gorbachev in his famous "tear down that wall Mr. President" speech "remove that asterisk and disclaimer Mr. John." You have my vote for America's favorite! Adorning the walls are pithy signs stating "Freaky, Fast, Freaky Good," We'd Like To See You Naked But State Code Requires Shoes & Shirts" (no pants mentioned, curiously) "No Schmanzy, Too Fancy" and "Mom Approved" among other, longer deep thoughts. Jack Handey has found a second career with Jimmy John's. What I've learned from my trips to Jimmy John's have been inspirational. Thus far I've learned: a) "I believe...that we are responsible for what we do; no matter how we feel." b)"I believe...that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become Wow, how true and oh so profound... I'm sure I would've learned more but they are so "Freaky Fast" that I'm usually quickly opening my sub packaged with a sticker admonishing me to "Unwrap The Love" after a few lessons and by then I've forgotten what I've learned anway. Their subs are amazing and come on some of the densest bread I've had to date - sort of what I like to call the neutron star of bread - at least compared to the fluffy ilk of its competition. I try to not think of the carb density as I enjoy either the Turkey Tom ® or the Club Tuna ®, which are my go to favorites. Their menu is one of the most highly trademarked I've encountered and having dealt with acquiring and protecting trademarks in the past I can appreciate just how many sandwiches you would need to sell in order to protect the integrity of the generically named Country Club ® - suffice it to say, quite a few! Options they don't have at Jimmy John's. No willy nilly picking of your vegetables and toppings - you damn well eat what they serve you - but you won't mind that their only cheese is provolone - not in the slightest. This is another reason they are also much faster at slamming sandwiches out than their competition. Want it your way, go to Burger King - this is Jimmy John's! I mean, where else would you see a sign that cuts to the core of every PETA loving vegan of a pig with wings boldly stating "Turns Out Pigs Can Fly!" You Just Have To Make Them Into A Sandwich First." Nobody. That's balls! Chutzpah! I've learned a lot about life and myself from eating at Jimmy John's. I've learned to "Don't Worry, Don't Hurry And Don't Forget To Stop and Smell The Flowers." Everyday is a battle of me convincing myself I don't need to get Jimmy John's for lunch. The responsible side of me usually brings a lunch to work, but every now and then I'll treat myself to lunch at Jimmy Johns. It's super close to my office so it's easy to drive there to pick up a sandwich, or use their delivery service. Online ordering makes it easy to order and pay. Here are the pros and cons to both options... Going to the shop can be difficult because its at a weird intersection, and they get busy at lunch so parking can be a challenge. The store is very small so it gets crowded, and there isn't really a great place to stand while you are waiting for your order to be ready. But the staff there is really nice and they are very fast at making your sandwich. Ordering online and having it delivered is also a good option. It doesn't cost extra, but when you are ordering you can tip them (which you should do because these guys are riding their bikes to you or dealing with downtown traffic/construction/parking). Their slogan is "freaky fast delivery", which sometimes holds true but sometimes isn't. I think it just depends on the time you order and how crazy the lunch rush is that day. The pros and cons don't really matter for me because I love their sandwiches and will continue to indulge in their carb filled menu. read more

In the last month I have ordered from JJ which was one of my favorite sandwich places but for some reason the quality and care of the food orders is lacking three time on the same sandwich I have not gotten what I ordered and once was charged twice too my card which did get corrected I called to share the issue and no one really seemed to care except for one guy, but over all it was a oops sorry . They have like 10 people working behind the counter yet they have the most sucky service of any places in the downtown area. It took me a couple visits to find out that they turn a submarine order into a club sandwich order if you ask for wheat bread. Seems like they would tell you they are doing that. Unlike all the other chains, they do not have a whole wheat submarine bread. This particular location on Harrison is hell bent on bankrupting itself into closure. I'm talking a very inattentive, uncaring, pathetic staff. If I owned this outlet, I would fire everybody there from the person who delivers the napkins to the people's grandmothers. This is the closest Jimmy John's to me. I always get the Gargantuan with red peppers and extra dressing. It is made for a big appetite, otherwise you are gonna have a lot left over, which if you keep leftovers in the refrigerator the bread will get soggy and then it becomes a texture thing. They are not to blame on the soggy bread btw. They do not always get the orders right, and some of the employees I have encountered just do not care much about themselves or the job they represent. But for the most part they are quick and 80% friendly. I guess you can say they sacrifice accuracy and pleasantries with speed. There food is really good where ever I may get it from though. Jimmy John's is my go-to for a quick baguette sandwich. read more

I use this JJ's for lunch a lot if I'm eating early. Food is good and fast. Staff is always friendly, except maybe the occasional biker delivery folks. A big knock on this location is the parking, which is a nightmare. Also it's sometimes hard to find a seat inside with it being such a small location. read more
