(4/5) I stopped by 30th St. Market and tried the Italian sandwich. The food was definitely the highlight of the visit. The sandwich was made with fresh bread, quality Italian meats and toppings, and had great flavor throughout. The ordering process was simple, and the food came out quickly with a buzzer system that lets you know when it's ready for pickup. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 has more to do with the dining experience than the food itself. The dining area felt pretty warm during my visit. I'm not sure if it was because of the heat outside or if the AC wasn't keeping up, but it was noticeable. There was also a fly flying around while I was eating. Another small issue was the water station. Water is self-serve, which is fine, but the cups provided are extremely small, so I found myself getting refills multiple times. The restaurant is also largely self-service, from picking up your food to cleaning up after yourself. That said, the sandwich itself was excellent. Prices are on the premium side, but honestly not out of line with what places like Subway or City Bites charge these days. The food is super tasty. The service is great. Very friendly, order at the counter and bus your own table. So, not a lot of service, but they're all very happy and friendly. It's a little noisy, but it's an old warehouse with concrete floors and brick walls. I suppose they could hang some sound dampening material around and that would help. I ordered the egg sausage sandwich on an English muffin. Very tasty, but I've never seen patty sausage so thin. I realize they may want to save on portions, but maybe that's not a great place to save. I guess I could order double sausage. It's REALLY thin. Like slice of bologna thin. read more

Came here after voting for a late lunch with my son. He had the avocado toast and I had the vegetarian Mediterranean sandwich on sourdough. I honestly didn't expect our food to be this good. My son said the avocado toast was the best he's ever had, and I enjoyed my sandwich. We also took home a country sourdough loaf since, my youngest loves toast for breakfast. Wished this place was closer to us, but we will just have to do lunch here again when we are nearby. Pro tip: bring your own water bottle, because the complimentary water station is tiny, and if you're a thirsty person like me--you'll need to BYOW. We absolutely love this place. They have quick service, have great customer service, and are dog friendly too. The parking is a bit tight but if you go off hours it's usually not an issue. Only 4 stars bc of the end. This is the cutest spot! I've been here before but a few years ago so now I've gotten to try it and remember. The inside and outside was so cute! I really liked the outdoor seating options although we sat inside. The service was pretty fast & done with detail! I ordered a hot chai latte with cinnamon and oat milk & it was one of the best I've had in a while. Overall I enjoyed my experience, and my friend and I had our babies and nobody made a fuss nor batted an eye. In case the company sees this I would like to mention a staff member you have there. Either give her a raise or buy them but they (she? i don't wanna assume) needs new shoes. They were sneaker flip flops & I don't say this to make them feel bad or with any judgement at all. I have been there, I get it. But to work with this person or ever be their manager and see this and not do anything I couldn't imagine. We love this place so much for the ambiance and the outdoor space! So great for small families to let their chickies run around during great weather. I just can't get behind the prices. We used to get the PBB&J all the time - a slice of milk bread toasted with peanut butter, jam, banana, and blueberries. It was a great treat. Now it is still $9 but it's just a piece of bread with peanut butter and jam. And the sandwiches are even more expensive. Not to mention, the owners of the establishment are by far some of the greatest contributors to the Paseo area. What a wonderful little gem. My best friend and I checked out this place in early January for lunch. There was parking but it didn't seem like a lot. We walked through the gravel patio up to their front entrance. It's very industrious looking. We perused their menu online, and thank God we did, because their menu board are rather tiny print. A wonderful woman took our order, $20 for my Turkey and a topo chico, and we seated ourselves. She informed us that if we were beer drinkers they have a deal where you can build your own 6-pack. Sounded fun. We enjoyed our time catching up while waiting for food. You get a little buzzer. It buzzes and then we picked up our food from the counter, where you can grab your own silverware & napkins. I like that service because I think it helps reduce waste, and I got the vibe that was a value of the business. First bite of my sandwich - flavorful and more on the salty side. I ate it all and enjoyed every bite. I look forward to trying something else next time. I want to explore their salads. Bread was excellent. My friend drank her iced macha in full, including the little sips trapped in their concave ice cubes. We felt no rush to finish our experience, as we were there for two hours. There was a group of maybe 10 there that had scooted together some tables to make one big one. Owner didn't seem to mind. They have fresh bread for sale, which was very tempting. They also had a very large wine selection. Patio seemed nice and open. Bathrooms were clean and functional. They share space with a bike shop so it was fun to peruse their bike accessories. Everything I've had has been excellent. Coffee is great, too, with rotating special espresso drinks. Their ingredients are much fresher and better than most places. You order at the counter and pick up your food at a window, but it's always friendly service and the food comes up quickly. TURKEY Toasted Focaccia, chimichurri mayo, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, pepperoncini, salt & pepper onions Definitely had a lot of flavor. It's a cold sandwich on a really fluffy buttery focaccia. The bread is so good!! Unfortunately, the sandwich doesn't hold up well to everything inside. The bread literally falls apart. ITALIAN Ciabatta, Black Kassel salami, soppressata, genoa, provolone, olive tapenade, lettuce, salt & pepper onions, mayo, oil & vinegar Our family loves Italian sandwiches but this wasn't their favorite. The tapenade was strong with either a feta or some other cheese mixed in. It's a cold sandwich too. Full of flavor but could be a hit or miss for some folks. I didn't mind it. PASTRAMI Country sourdough, pastrami, swiss, mustard aioli, kraut, pickles My whole family stole bites from this Pastrami. It's a warm sandwich with thick pickles. Good sandwich but if you're coming for a melt-in-your-mouth Katz deli-style pastrami - this is not it. The Pastrami is more chewy but still has a good taste. I'd recommend this one. So why the 3 stars? This was the most stressful lunch we've had in a long time. The place was filled with flies!! We were constantly shooing flies from our food. And the sad part is that the staff didn't seem to care. They had an open baked good section with HUGE flies roaming every cinnamon roll, cookie, scone - it was so disgusting that even my 3 kids were turned off. The 3 star review is for the price point in comparison to the product and the service. If this were not locally owned I'd honestly give an ever lower score. If you're charging $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no sides or table service, the portions could reflect that, but they don't. Even the free water up would only hold 4 ounces of liquid so I had to get up 3x to refill it. I didn't find anything particularly WOWing about this place. read more
