I had never eaten at Jimmy John's before coming to Plymouth. It's one of relatively few counter-service, fast casual spots downtown when you just want something easy and cheap. Sandwiches are under $10 and are huge, even for the regular size (I can't even imagine how big the large size is). They are generous with the meat too which I appreciate. I've placed a couple of pickup orders and it's been reliable and easy every time. Service is friendly, they have bathrooms and a back patio with outdoor seating. No wifi though which is a bummer as it would be a nice place to work while having lunch. The menu is large and you can customize your sandwiches. The app is user friendly and you get a free sandwich after your first order. Would return! read more

1 star is generous considering Zero stars isn't an option. Historically, they have been awful. This time it was so bad all I could do was laugh. Maybe 15% of my orders have been correct - usually it's the chips they don't mess up. I don't understand how an online order can be made incorrect - it's black and white on what needs to be made, no? Picture attached is last order receipt, and what was received. I even included what needs to be on the sandwich to make it easier for them. They don't have delivery drivers, they use third party service (no disclosure of that on the app). so your only options are to drive up there for new sandwich or get refunded. I'm convinced the only reason they are still in business is because their location. Guessing that will change after La pecora nera opens. read more

I haven't been disappointed with the sandwiches I get here. This location is in downtown Plymouth next to Penn Theatre. I've enjoyed JJ sandwiches since college. My favorite sandwich back then was the turkey sandwich with avocado spread, mayo, lettuce, cucumber, provolone, and alfalfa sprouts. Unfortunately, Jimmy John's stopped using alfalfa sprouts, and the turkey sandwich was never the same without them. I usually get the tuna, but sometimes I still get the turkey. The sandwiches are delicious and typically packed with extra ingredients like Jimmy peppers, seasoning, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and more. You can request extra on the app or in-store. The JJ chips are delicious and crispy. I like the pickles too. The workers at this location are friendly, and the wait isn't long for an order of 1-2 sandwiches. The shop looks clean. I also like the JJ app with good deals like BOGO and free chips or pickles with your order. JJ remains one of my favorite places for fast food takeout. read more

We ordered twice in April. I don't live far- maybe 5 minutes away. Both times it was not a busy time of day. It took over an hour for my order to show up and it was "out for delivery" for at least 45 minutes. I called the store both times after 40 minutes and was told they were short staffed. I gave up and stopped ordering from here. It's now September and I decided to give it another chance. I ordered at 5:13 and my order in the tracker says at 5:24 it's "out for delivery". At 5:50 I called the store and was told the driver was busy and had a lot of deliveries and it would be 10 more minutes- it's now 6:15pm and it's still not here. Do NOT EVER GET DELIVERY- It's not "freaky fast"- it's abysmally slow. read more

Literally poisoned me! It was really busy downtown on a Friday because it was a concert night. I placed a pickup order like 20 min ahead and couldn't find a parking spot so I parked in a place I shouldn't have. The store was crazy and the workers looked angry, I went up to the front of the line just to ask about my pickup order. The girl working the register was incredibly rude. When I ate the sandwich I noticed the Mayo was lumpy and old on one side. The guy making my sandwich poisoned me just for asking the status of the pickup. I spent all night throwing up and not feeling well. No excuses for this. I'm writing this almost a year later as I cannot let behavior like this fly. read more

Uncooked bread dirty inside indifferent staff and gross lettuce the uncooked super gluey so called french bread is the worst. The meat is frozen and not thawed in sandwiches. High staff turnover HS kids who work hard probly dont get paid much. read more

Jimmy John's app! Omg! Game changer! Not only is it easy peasy to order online, I was totally sucked in with their rewards program. I got a free sandwich pretty much after my 1st order. Plus all the perks like free pickle or chips is definitely a bonus. Working from home means more Zoom meetings and sometimes not a lot of time to make lunch. It's been so nice to log in and place my order. I'm a creature of habit so I'm able to save my orders and hit repeat. It's a quick trip over and back at my desk with my lunch. If my husband is working from home, I'll make his belly happy too. Our favorite subs are the beach club with avocado and turkey and the little John tuna salad. Love the size differences too. This is right near my office so it has become one of my staple lunch spots. Especially if I am in a rush. The staff is friendly and get food out quick. Honestly I only get the #5 sandwich but really it's fantastic so no reason to change. Easy onions easy hot peppers cut in half. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to all of the other lunch spots in town. Their delivery drivers do fly around town and park inconveniently from on occasion but I guess that's what you need to do for freaky fast delivery. I go here probably once a week and have only had one or two bad experiences in 5 years. There seem to be several longer term staff members that keep everyone on task and get the new people up to speed. read more

We ordered our food via call, but when we came to pick it up, they refused to accept our promo code, which was perfectly valid in-store. Jimmy Johns.. Freaky Fast Delivery! My first experience with JJ's was a little bittersweet. That morning my husband had to go to the clinic due to extreme back and neck pains, the dr 'fixed him up' with painmeds but inadvertently ODed him on them- resulting in a vomiting and sleeping husband. I needed to get him something non greasy in his stomach- so pizza was out. I remembered JJs delivers an they were at my doorstep within 15 minutes. From there on out I not only love the fact they deliver, but I fell in love with their products as well. I really enjoy the vegetarian sandwich on 7 grain bread- they have an amazing avocado spread to go on these. The turkey Tom sandwich is also delicious. I used to love JJ. Sadly, I will no longer be dining with them. As delicious as the food is, the prices always seem to go up each time I'm there. I also have seen issues with the cleanliness of the area where they make the sandwiches at this location. Easy cross-contamination if you have food allergies. The floors in the kitchen area are always littered with food. Gross. The nail in the coffin for me, was seeing pictures of Jimmy John Liautaud (JJ owner), posing joyfully with the exotic creatures he hunted and killed. Elephant, Leopard & a Brown Bear. My first Jimmy John's experience. Well, not so great. Four unmotivated staff, only three patrons, yet lackluster service.. The dining area was filthy, Stuff on the tables, stuff all over the floor. This is going out to everybody in the Albuquerque New Mexico area. Its pretty bad that the Jimmy Johns at 2131 Central Avenue northeast. As an employee that feels that's the only handicapped spot on the property is intended for him. And he's not even handicaps nor does he have a handicap placard for his car. I myself am handicapped and everytime I try to go up there to get food find his Chevy setting in the handicap spot. So I'm putting this out to all my associates and friends and people that I don't even know that just happen to be handicapped. That you might want to reconsider stopping at that store specifically. And this is not just one answer that we're talking 7 times over the last 2 weeks that I've stopped try to stop in. read more

Good Location in downtown Plymouth right on the park, but the service is less than the usual attentiveness (and speed) I am used to having at many other franchise locations. The food is the same, it just seemed like the staff was busy with prepping and cleaning and we as customers were a bit of an afterthought. I went here on 3/24/16 for a sandwich, drink, and a cookie. I placed my order and was ready to pay. I presented a valid credit card with a clear and distinguishable signature and was immediately ordered to present my ID. I asked the young woman at the register why I was being asked for ID when I had a credit card with a clear signature. I was told that there has been a lot of credit card fraud in the area and they needed to check my ID. I told her that I was not going to show her my ID and to cancel the order. She then took back the cup and cookie and had not a care in the world about the poor experience that she created. I walked out and went somewhere else. Setting a policy to check a customer's ID when buying a sandwich with a credit card is dangerous and creates a bad experience for customers. It's dangerous because of identity theft. I don't know if that employee has some form of reader or even a camera phone to capture a picture of my ID. An overhead security camera could even capture an image of my ID. In addition, someone near me or the employee could have a camera phone to report the details. It's absolutely asinine to make someone present an ID for a sandwich order. This process also violates the VISA merchant terms of service. VISA clearly indicates that a customer can be asked for ID, but the merchant cannot require that an ID be presented to be a condition of using a VISA credit card--unless the card is not signed. VISA has it's own fraud protection procedures through fraud detection programs and other policies set by experts--not young adults working in a sandwich shop. The demand for an ID by this location also creates a bad experience because it conveys a message to the customer that "we don't trust you or care about your privacy." That's the impression that I got. When the young woman pulled the cup and cookie back it sent a message to me that I'm just another person who they don't care about and I am expendable as a customer. Whoever developed this policy--if it's even a policy--created a very bad situation for customers. I will not return to this sandwich shop because of the way I was treated. read more

I order delivery all the time from here and they are wonderful! Delicious food, they never mess up my order and they are freaky fast. Today my coworkers and I ordered Jimmy John's before they opened expecting to get it a little after they opened but they actually got it to us early! To top it off it's Christmas Eve.
