Jason is awesome & I love sandwiches, don't know why this Jimmy John's has a low rating, me and my mom come often and they're super good

#1 jimmy johns advocate here. Good here is same as every other location but the staff are a different story. The weekday lunch hour people are great but the evening/weekend warriors ooze their misery onto you. Very cold and have zero I interest in social interaction. Went to go pick up a sub at 7:51pm and the door was locked and lights were off! Had to go to the drive thru window and yell three times whilst the gentleman 5ft from the window doomscrolled on his phone. Once he noticed me he gave me a dirty look and scoffed "name". I almost didn't watch to mention this but this is not the first time this evening staff betrayed my beloved Jimmy John's franchise. I always mobile order a #11 with all the fixings. Walked all the way back to campus only to find a meat sandwich. Now I get stuff happens but who the hell orders just meat. Anyways, I go to return the sandwich and the ungrateful witch pushing 60 locked eyes with and walked away. Luckily a kinder gentlemen was working this day and greeted me made me the correct sandwich and apologized for the inconvenience. For the sake of human civilization and the reputation of my beloved Jimmy John's franchise find those responsible and return them to the 4th grade so they can mature accordingly. I just really hope the worker was changing their gloves. After making the order the employee rung up my transaction with her gloves still on then walked back to the kitchen with them on. Food was okay but seems to be missing some sauce mentioned on the menu. read more

AMAZING SERVICE and food! All 3 employees were phenomenal - Angelina, Tierah, and Giselle. They worked together like a well oiled machine and were exceptionally kind, fast yet thorough, all the good things! Patient with a complicated order, helped when the app gave us trouble, and truly made it a wonderful experience. It was clean, organized, well stocked, A on their inspection, and the music choice was tasteful and catchy. I literally re-downloaded Yelp to leave this feedback because they deserve it. Service was slow and seemed liked he didn't wanna be there. When asked to get a basic sandwich toasted they said they could only do the new sandwiches which makes no sense, and when we did get our sandwiches the bread was rock hard it was ridiculous. Won't be returning :( read more

Ordering on the app gives the customer the ability to customize their order; but when the order isn't correct... what then? I ordered two Little John's for lunch today and asked for them to be cut in half. No matter how many times I request it, they refuse. Also, the sandwiches aren't marked; so ordering for an office makes unpacking more complicated than it has to be. They ask for the name of the person for each sandwich; you'd think they'd mark the wrapping... but no. The service today was lacking; the lady at the register was less than helpful. I have been eating here for over a year. I have never really had an issue. I find the bread great, I like JJ's bread. The other ingredients are fresh too. I got a cookie in my last delivery. The cookie package was opened. I called the store and they happily gave me a $6 dollar credit. I went back the next day and used the credit no problem. They were really helpful and nice. The store inside and out appears clean to me. No issues here. read more

Staff was very attentive but I ordered two picklewiches and both were missing provolone and both had wrong veggies. $7 for how small the picklewich is, is crazy. There was once an employee here named Chris, and she was the only good one. Unfortunately, this neighborhood doesn't have great sandwich options, so I have ordered from this location dozens of times. Once, I got a turkey sandwich that was so disgusting it made me gag and I couldn't order from this location or others for months. The texture was like stringy plastic. They have been out of iced tea for weeks and they tell me they'll "put a credit on my account" but we're unable to tell me where i would find that... three times. They're rude and unprofessional as a whole, and i'm not convinced the sanitation practices are legit having seen some of the dirtiest fingernails in my life on the cashier. If you have a choice, don't do it. read more

I really try to be considerate of foodservice workers and delivery drivers as I used to work in both fields for years but I honestly have no idea how this location can get it wrong so many times :( I always place delivery orders at this location and the food is always amazing and exactly how I order it but almost every time without fail my order come at least 15-25 minutes late. To combat this I usually place the order to get delivered 30-45 mins before my lunch and it will still get delivered late. My lunch is unfortunately not flexible and very hard stuck so it's a huge inconvenience when I cannot eat on time. Very disappointed with this location, and that makes me sad to say. read more

If I could give a zero I would. We ordered two sandwiches and they were out of the normal size bread they usually use and gave the size you get in bread loafs. This was like receiving half a sandwich. They should give double sandwiches rather than leaving the customer feeling they've been cheated. I called them with my complaint and was told they put the same amount on the short bread. This is a lie because I've purchased from many of their stores throughout San Antonio and this amount was in no way the same. If you go through the drive through and they don't have their normal size bread keep driving are you'll be ripped off. read more

This place doesn't deserve any stars. I was here visiting the city and decided to rent a bike but it started raining so we stopped at Jimmy John's for a sandwich and to wait for the weather to clear up. The door was locked with a closed sign stating that they are short staffed. I saw 3 employees inside and one opened up the door and asked what did I want to order. He locked the door and came back a minute later to tell me that I would have to ride my bike through the drive-thru to order. I told him that it's raining and there was a line. He didn't respond and just closed the door and locked it. It's not like they had to provide waiter service so he could've just taken my order and handed me the sandwich. Terrible service and nothing but cold sandwiches. I ended up going down the street to McAlister's Deli and ordered a delicious, hot grilled chicken club sandwich on fresh baked ciabatta bread. read more

This location cancels online orders it takes days to get your money back. The GM has every excuse in the book for the locations in ability to fulfill online orders. he also says he will not turn inn online order delivery options but will allow to order online even if he knows they cannot deliver...???!! then give you the option to pick up or wait days for a refund..??! totally defeats the purpose read more

These people are rude when dealing with customers. If that's not bad enough the floor is grossly dirty and the tea tastes old. Then the sandwich wrapper hands us our sandwiches but they were to go so when we remind him he hands us a bag and turns around. Poor customer service. read more

Rude kids working there. Walked in to pick up our to go order that we had already paid online for. Picked it up and as we were walking out the door the kids working there were saying, sarcastically, OHHH BYEEEEE, over exaggerating have a GREAT day but also saying we have a tip jar, our tip jar is right here. Got home and the already paid for order was missing a bag of chips, there was no mustard in our sandwiches or packs in the bag, my lettuce wrap was one slice of Turkey and the rest shredded lettuce or the wrap. I love Jimmy Johns but this is not my favorite location. I went to the Drive thru and ordered 2 #7's unwhiched and asked for one of them to be a combo. The lady working the drive thru told me that I meant I want a "Vito." I repeated my order, then she continued to correct me. (I have been to many of the locations and this has never been an issue.) The lady then told me my total. As I began to move forward, I think she forgot to mute her headset, because she continued to say something followed by the word "sh#t." When I pulled up to the window, I saw the lady using the meat cutter, actively slicing meat with the headset. She then looked back and walked towards the window. As she is walking, she scratches her face with the same gloves she was wearing to slice meat, opens the window and tells me the total. I handed her my credit card, she took it and inserted it into the card reader. She then hands me back the card and walks back to the meat slicer, using the same gloves and continues to slice the meat. This seriously grossed me out. Please use caution when going to this location, I really hope she doesn't clean the restrooms and goes back to slicing the meat with the same gloves read more
