Just received a hook and ladder salad with no dressing! Who does that? These people must be stupid or just don't give a crap about the service that comes out of their store! I ordered it through Uber Eats but it's not their fault. If you want sub par service with crappy made food, order away. Otherwise, stay away from this location. They put too much Mayo on the subs but the actual sandwich was good. The meatballs were a little on the rubbery side - could've used more sauce. I ordered through Firehouse app. My colleague ordered through Door Dash. My order was put on the shelf, accessible to anyone. My colleague's was kept on the counter in front of the girl making sandwiches. I picked mine up and waited for a minute before she acknowledged me because his was not on the shelf. I mentioned I was also picking up my colleague's, and gave his full name to her. She claimed she didn't have an order for him but asked what he ordered. I mentioned I could call him. This would have been her opportunity to tell me she needed him to click confirm on Door Dash and share a screen shot. She failed to go this route. Instead, she chose the MUCH slower and frustrating method. So I call him and asked what he ordered. When I repeat it to the girl, she nods to indicate it's the correct order. I hang up with him. She then tells me he needs to click confirm on the app. I call him back but now can't get a hold him. I have to call his coworker to tell him to click confirm. After he said he did that, we hang up. She then tells me I need a screen shot of him clicking confirm. My head nearly exploded. Why is she determined to create such an atmosphere?! She's not holding on to a winning lotto ticket; it's a damn sandwich! I gave two stars because the restaurant was clean; but the service workers there clearly need quality training. I asked for smoked turkey breast instead i got smoked brisket. I have hearing loss so it was hard to hear and at the same i said smoked turkey breast. Rude employees, me and my girlfriend came here at 8:25 already feeling bad that we were going to order a sub 35 minutes before closing. Great service and the food is so on point! First time there and I was like so wowed I'd never eaten from a sub place that made delicious food. Soda machine was insane and very very fast service it didn't take longer then 3 min for me to get my food. Darn, I was looking forward to loving this place. I'm 100% team firefighter . Now even more since my son is currently taking fire science courses with SAFD. I was very excited to try this place bc of its origins. Sandwich was tasty. I think I would have raved more about it if I didn't have the impression that it was prepped by someone bothered to serve. I was going to give the benefit of the doubt and blame our currently constant disgusting weather. But, then a young man came in to pick up his order and the ladies perked up and became friendly and pleasant with him. One of them even came from behind the tall counter and served his drink for him from the fountain. If you don't mind being served by someone you're bothering then come here. My husband loves Firehouse, but this only the second time I've tried. Both times ordered the Hero Sub. The flavor was great the first time, but this time we both agreed was missing something that would make it great... well we found out they had forgotten the mustard, which they put on all subs, so I'm not sure how they forgot! The bread and meat are good and taste fresh, but both time my bottom bread gets nasty soggy (and I leave out the tomato), and we only live 3 min away. read more

Firehouse Subs decides to put a location on the SE side of town just a skip, hop and jump away from the City Base theatre so I decided to investigate what all the hype is about as soon as I left work and planned to see a movie after eating here since I refuse to waste any of my hard earned money on any of the crappy food items at the theatre's concession stand. I ordered a small turkey, ham and roast beef sub, hold the mayo and 86 the cheese with chips and a drink. They have the soda fountain of the future today, the Coca Cola Freestyle machine featuring their own cherry limeade. I wasn't impressed with their cherry limeade at all. It's not really limeade at all. It's just cherry flavored sugar water. You have to squeeze lime juice into it for the full experience and there were very few limes available. Lame! My sandwich was okay however it could've been better had it not contained onions and regular mustard instead of that honey Dijon or spicy mustard it had. What a way to ruin a sub! Don't get try to get all fancy schmancy with the mustard, just keep it simple! So as far as subs are concerned, sorry Firehouse but this Texas boy has been spoiled rotten by Jersey Mikes however you are a slight step above Subway but several steps below Lenny's, Quizno's, McAllister's,Jason's Deli and hell even Jimmy John's is better! For dessert,I ordered 3 cookies, one chocolate chip, one white chocolate/macadamia nut and one oatmeal. The chocolate chip was too much like a Soft Batch cookie while the white chocolate/macadamia nut had a lemony flavor, yuck! The oatmeal raisin cookie was the only one I cared for however I'm still partial to the cookies from Jason's Deli. The price isn't too bad though but still, the south side is getting cheated in regards to sub places. We deserve better than Subway and Firehouse Subs just does not cut the mustard. read more

The sub here was pretty good. Nothing that would blow your mind but pretty good. The two star deductions are because the location was kind of dirty (soda machine a mess and water leaking through the ceiling into a bucket) and because of the service. I was slightly disappointed with the young man running the register. I went here for lunch and had on my military uniform. After I had ordered and sat down, my boss (civilian but retired military) asked if I had gotten the military discount. I didn't know they offered one and the young man at the register didn't mention it despite the fact I am obviously in the military. Maybe it's petty but I would think if you offer a military discount and the person ordering is in uniform you would either say something about it or just apply the discount. read more

Totally love this sandwich i had the firehouse meatball sub .. talking about a nice hot delicious four meatballs with mozzarella cheese scrumpish toasted white or wheat bread. This was my my first time here and it wont be my last. The staff was super nice and answered all my questions. The place was clean very clean and the staff always tending to the tables and making sure the floor was clean. The price is very reasonible and the size of the sub was great and filling. You get to choose other toppings like cucumbers tomatoe vinegar and oil all for no additonal charge there choice of chips are great my favorite is the vinegar and sea salt .. they are so tasty... stop in and try them all i know ill be back for more!!! #lovedthatsub read more

(CUSTOMER SERVICE that is).. nor this morning... for that matter.... for the OWNER.. to call me.... and not have CUSTOMER SERVICE with me... how I was contacted this am.... is not how you handle a complaint.... so I will just say this... I could write a long drawn out review on what happened. BUT I WILL NOT.. and at the end of the day.. I should have been called and asked HOW CAN WE RESOLVE THIS SITUATION ...PERIOD...not go back in forth ..... CLEARLY ...your staff was wrong in the first place..... so to that I say...
