Normally everything is great, sanwhiches taste good and customer service is great. But the past couple of times i have been to this location, the service has not been up to par. Not sure if its maybe that the location is understaffed, overworked, or just dont care. But the attitude has not been welcoming and seemed like the customers were more of nuisance and inconvenience. Throws off the vibe of the store, so much so that it almost makes you not want to go back. Something needs to happen with the staff either more support, or training. But something needs to correct whateveraybe affecting this location. Especially being someone who is in the customer service field. Definitely unacceptable. read more

My family and I went to Jimmy John's for lunch. When we walked in it wasn't many people inside. So we placed our order. It was done in about 5 minutes. I got the turkey and roast beef sub regular. They seem to skimp on toppings and rush through making the subs. My sub was ok. I just wish they would have toasted it like I asked for. It was also pretty dry. The mayo must have exited the scene... The jalapeno chips are good kettle chips. Crunchy with a little kick. Their ice is top notch. It's that good ice you can chew !! The staff was ok, they're not that welcoming. But I guess we'll just be happy they showed up. Lol. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating to dine in. All in all it was an average visit. (I went again a few days later and got the roast beef sub, toasted with extra sauce. This sub was better. It had a good amount of toppings. It was good, and filling. I've been to this this over a half dozen times and I still feel like just A-OK and nothing special. The lot usually has a spot in front and my most recent the walk up tidy. This JJ is off Princess Anne, but in a small strip. I called my order in for a pick-up and the person taking the order was slow, but got it right! Arrival 5 minutes later the sandwich was being fixed. There were issues with the card reader and it required doing it twice. They charge more than Subway, but I think it's an upgrade. The staff was meh. Good turkey provolone sandwich on white with fresh bread. I would return. 3.5 rounding down. read more

I used to love Jimmy John's. With Jersey Mikes across the street it was often a difficult choice for me. One place I loved the bread, the other I liked the fresh cut deli meat. Recently this decision became quite easy after I showed up at Jimmy John's and realized it's a good thing I like the bread because they barely put anything for toppings inside! I can hardly see the shreds of lettuce, the guacamole looks like they swiped the edge of the knife with barely any on it, I received one slice of a cucumber with the middle missing, and one slice of tomato. I really should start downgrading my JJ reviews. They're ALL super fast and super friendly, as is this one. Order and pay, by the time I get to the far end of the counter, my sandwich was there and ready for us. Tip: Add cucumbers and substitute mayo with mustard. More filling, less calories! My son wanted a sub after his game today and when we walked in we were ignored for 10 mins, then when a girl was trying to acknowledge us the guy in charge (maybe a manager) yelled at her not to so they could finish a big order. My dad left because of the rudeness and wait time but I had promised my son a sub so we waited. We finally order and get our stuff and they messed up the whole order. We ask them to fix it as the manager is yelling at a group of people coming in that they are out of bread for 30 minutes. The manager then proceeds to yell at the 2 employees that were making sandwiches. He was incredibly rude and made it very uncomfortable to be in there. I felt bad for the 2 employees. read more

Came into store to order food and its amazing how no-one has a mask on if you sit down like magically the air at a lower level is fine to breath, but if you are standing up you need one. To think this generation of people believe cotton protect against anything and yet the employee adjusts her mask with her hands in front of me and are making food. This is insanity. I've been trying alot of the "New" sub places lately to check them out. This new Jimmy John's just opened up mid-2014 in the Landstown Commons Shopping Center, right off Princess Anne Road. No drive thru here, but they do have delivery if you live close by. Of all the newer sub places coming out recently, I actually rank Jimmy Johns at the bottom of the list. Firehouse Subs and Jersey Mikes have alot more 'flavor', and both of those chains have locations here in the same Landstown Commons shopping center. Jimmy John's subs are made very FAST, in fact my sub was done practically even before I had finished paying for it! So the SPEED you could get a sub, and the fact they will deliver in rapid-fast fashion is a Plus. If time is of the essence on your lunch break, stop here. You'll have your sandwich and be eating fast! --- But, I give it only a 3-star because there is just nothing very exciting about the sandwich itself. read more

This is a good location in regards to how close it is to the gym (don't judge me), but the parking is terrible. You have to compete with Zoe's Kitchen, Huddle House, a nail salon, and other businesses' customers for parking. It's like a Battle Royale of parking. However, I was greeted promptly. I love Jimmy Johns as a franchise but I probably won't come back to this location simply because the employees' hygiene is severely lacking. The kid that took my order had hair WELL past his shoulders and it was not only NOT tied back but also stringily plastered over his eyes. It was unappetizing just ordering my sandwich. THEN I watched the gentleman who made my sandwich (who did not look......healthy or well) remove his hat and shake his head voraciously like a dog whose just come out of water. I placed an order online for pickup in this store. When I arrived at the store, I noticed a young woman sitting in the car next to me smoking marijuana with a friend. I went into the store to pick up my order, which should have been ready. After waiting several minutes, the young woman from the car came into the store, walked behind the counter, and proceeded to tell me that the store is "out of bread", to which I replied, "out of bread?". A coworker then said that the bread just came out of the oven, and the young woman informed me that it would be a "long wait" before my sandwich could be made, and it would be a minimum of 15 minutes. I let the 2 employees know that I would like to wait, at which time the young woman went back outside to the car. It's been 15 minutes, the young woman is still in the car smoking marijuana, and the young man behind the counter has been standing in the back the entire time. This has got to be the most outrageous experience, to have an employee of a restaurant sitting in front of the restaurant openly smoking marijuana. My husband went back into the restaurant, at which time the young woman went back inside and began to make the order. I am completely speechless. read more

This JJ is the worst I have ever been to. I have been here several times and each time I get screwed. One visit the scraggly looking manager tried to put rotten brown lettuce on my sandwich until the young kid working there was like hey that's rotten. The next time I spent $65 on sandwiches and the same nasty manager screwed everyone of them up! The same nasty manager, man who looks dirty and touches every damn thing with the same gloves he is making your sandwich with was complaining because my kid wanted Jimmy John 'syellow mustard and said you are going to have to put some on at home because all he had was small packets. The store only looked clean because the poor high school girl was trying to stay away from the creepy nasty manager due with bad skin. Corporate needs to visit this store and take action. The owner is stupid for keeping the nasty manager and he is rude to everybody that comes in. I'll use the $35,000 dollars in my savings to open a JJ in red mill to compete with this dump. New, very nice Inside. They had several employees and everyone was busy cleaning and stocking up the supplies. Each person working on one of the following: tables, floor mats, windows and prep area. Someone had some type of cleaning tool and the place was spotless. Definitely a quality manager with pride was in keeping with very high standards. I would recommend that napkins be provided with sandwiches and also have dispensers on the tables. My only concern with all J.J. is you either ask for napkins and a bag if to go or grab the bag and napkins from behind their counter. I had no clue..took three times telling me where the bags were to help myself to it. I'm a huge Jimmy John's fan for starters! Their food is quick, the sandwich makers who work there are ALWAYS friendly and I customize my usual order and have never had any issues. I love the fact that I can literally get my food ordered and out the door in less than 5 mins! 10/10 would recommend ** love the fact you can still add sprouts to any sandwich! **Also if you ask for leftover bread sometimes they will sell you their bread for dirt cheap which if you have ever eaten here you will understand their bread is AMAZING! read more

No sooner did I hang up that Kayla (I believe that was her name) called me back and said she would help me in anyway that she could, and asked what I needed!! Talk about pristine customer service! Walked in and out of the 3 people behind the counter, only the one young lady spoke. The manager was unpleasant. The young guy made my sandwich in 30 seconds and when I asked him for oil and vinegar on my sandwich, Both he and the manager seemed annoyed. I then asked for a bag and was told to "get it myself" and then the guy walked away. I said "Wow"! The bag was behind the counter which I think isn't a sanitary thing to have people reaching back there for items. NEVER WILL I EAT AT THAT LOCATION AGAIN.
