Surprising find - my parents have lived less than a mile from Jimmy's for years without realizing it was there. Service was friendly when I called & when we picked up our order. The pizza was very good - tasty toppings on a Chicago-style thin crust (read: not floppy, but crispy) with good flavor. It was cut a bit inconsistently, but that's easy to correct ourselves. The garlic cheese bread was entirely forgettable, though. Good find, and Jimmy's will give them a local pizza option worth taking in the pizza wasteland that is Granger. read more

Pizza was delicious. Crust evenly cooked with a mild bit of char on the edge. Veggies cut thinly, no sogginess whatsoever! So sad I no longer live in the area. Would happily order again. service is always kind and friendly. A big plus is that the ingredients are super fresh. so pretty much just about anything tastes good on their pizzas. The main star of the show are the ribs, though. Good pizza. However, we went on a Sunday and there wasn't anyone old enough working to serve beer. Also, the soda is served by the can and water by the bottle. Not a huge deal, but some people really hate that. Call ahead to see if they have anyone old enough to serve beer. read more

My first job as a freshman in high school was working for Jimmy (the owner) at a different restaurant in Granger over 20 years ago. Although I was just a lowly dishwasher / bus boy, he taught me a lot about the value of hard work and becoming a responsible adult. I now live across country, but I always try to order Jimmy's Pizza when I come back to visit my family and friends. If any local business owner deserves a stellar review, it's him. The best pizza in the Michiana area! The staff is very friendly. Family run restaurant and they are the friendliest group of people. They have the coldest beer ever! They charge $1.50 per CAN of soda. I walked out with the thought that's a 500% mark up vs cost... and frankly that's probably why you don't have any customers and three employees walking around the restaurant doing absolutely nothing. Manage your pricing better and you may increase your customer base. I will never come near your over priced establishment and I am an advocate of local business and only eating at local establishments not chains. But C'mon man! read more
