Quick and efficient load up of my lowered and modified car. He took me back into Houston so I could get my tire replaced. Coming from someone with many cars and all of them modified, I'm very familiar with towing. Hands down the best service I've ever had.

While the tow to the nearest dealership was about 20-30 miles (Brenham) they offered a more than fair price for the service. This recommendation turned out to be very good as the engine block had split due to a design issue and only a dealer could work with me and FCA corporate to figure out a goodwill settlement on the cost of a new engine. The service was also incredibly patient and helpful as my wife was 7 months pregnant at the time and was in the car with my mother-in-law, my daughter and had just picked up her mother-in-law's terminally diagnosed dog. Needless to say, Crosby towing was the one bright spot in an otherwise crappy day!

This time I arrived at 9:15 for a 9:30 scheduled oil change. Noted 7 cars parked in the service drive so got out and spoke to Tommy and said "Y'all look slammed. I'm just here for an oil change appointment". He said no sir these are all drop ins and we'll take care of your appointment right away. Grabbed Gina and told her mine was an appointment oil change. Saw Gina drive my truck around to back at 9:30. Went up at 10:20 to ask about what the hold up might be. 10:30 Gina comes to tell me the truck was just put on the lift. We discussed my appointment and she said she didn't know about that. Also said someone didn't show up for work blah blah blah So guess if I hadn't asked about it my quick 15 min oil change truck would still be sitting back there somewhere. I called De-Zee's and explained the situation. They were professional and allowed us to drop the car at their place after hours. The next morning at 10am they called with diagnosis. I feel like Fernandez was shooting me straight. They are just a little more expensive. But you know what they say. "You get what you pay for". A few days later my truck was hit by an 18 wheeler. I contacted. Fernandez because I knew they had a wrecker service. Man you talk about nice people. The wrecker driver Steve came out. This was the nicest guy I had a pleasure oof doing business with. I've always watched wrecker drivers man handle cars. They have always been real rough with them. Even though my truck had a lot of damage. He still was very gentle with my truck. Explained to me everything he was doing. He put blocks down and pads down to help pull the truck to the top of the flatbed. He was an excellent wrecker driver. I would highly recommend Fernandez for their wrecker service and especially if you're lucky enough to get Steve. The mechanical part of it. I feel like they are on the high side but I don't know what it takes to run such a big shop. I feel like he shot me straight and was far. He was just a little more expensive than the competition. I can't tell you if my truck is still running like a charm because it was wrecked. So who knows. All in all, I think if you choose to get work done at Fernandez Auto shop. I think you're getting a square deal. You might be paying a little more than the other mechanics. But I think your still getting a good deal with an auto service that can fulfill more needs than just mechanic work. I think this is the kind of shop you want on your side because you never know what's going to happen.
