He said that's the price that would get them started. I went for a second opinion to a friend of mine in Houston. He was able to do the whole job for $300. So not a big difference in price. I feel like Fernandez was shooting me straight. They are just a little more expensive. But you know what they say. "You get what you pay for". A few days later my truck was hit by an 18 wheeler. I contacted. Fernandez because I knew they had a wrecker service. Man you talk about nice people. The wrecker driver Steve came out. This was the nicest guy I had a pleasure oof doing business with. I've always watched wrecker drivers man handle cars. They have always been real rough with them. Even though my truck had a lot of damage. He still was very gentle with my truck. Explained to me everything he was doing. He put blocks down and pads down to help pull the truck to the top of the flatbed. He was an excellent wrecker driver. I would highly recommend Fernandez for their wrecker service and especially if you're lucky enough to get Steve. The mechanical part of it. I feel like they are on the high side but I don't know what it takes to run such a big shop. I feel like he shot me straight and was far. He was just a little more expensive than the competition. I can't tell you if my truck is still running like a charm because it was wrecked. So who knows. All in all, I think if you choose to get work done at Fernandez Auto shop. I think you're getting a square deal. You might be paying a little more than the other mechanics. But I think your still getting a good deal with an auto service that can fulfill more needs than just mechanic work. I think this is the kind of shop you want on your side because you never know what's going to happen.

I dropped my truck off July 03, 2024 to get an estimate on the work that needed to be done. They…read morecalled me and told me how much it would cost, and I asked for them to send me an email with the estimated pricing and jobs that needed to be done. Along with the email I responded the next day for them to go ahead and start the work on it, and never heard back. Almost a month later, I got a call asking me what I would like to do. I told the lady that I responded back to the email stating to go ahead and start, to then she replied, "Oh we dont have access to that email." So I told them to just go ahead and start since its been a month already. I had to call to check up on it about a week after giving them the go ahead, and they stated that they have all the parts in however, it should be done within a few days or so. The few days passed. They called me saying that, "Oh we needed to order another tire." Finally I got the call that my truck was done. About 15minutes after leaving the S&S Automotive parking lot, my ENIGINE LIGHT came on. This is such an inconvenience to spend all this money and time and STILL have to take my truck back the next day after I had picked it up. Poor customer service.
