It was the only size left, but not too far from my original sizing but for the amount of stuff that a person has to do with this dress....well let's just say it's quite a bit. He had me try on the dress, pin it, marked it, and today when I went to go pick it up, he had me try it on and lemme tell you, it fits like a glove. I can't possibly be making this up. It hugged in all the right places, like the dress was made for me (even better than the original sizing if I'm gonna be honest). Florentin is honest, kind, and a man of his words. For all of it, it was over 100. Some say it may not be worth it, and some would say it's worth its value. I have never even found a go-to person/place for alterations back home, but I am so pleased and happy I found one in Portland. I wish I could've taken a before/after photo but I'm not one to rave about a place unless I really think it's worth it.

I had my air ducts cleaned today by Clean A Duct, and I couldn't be more happy with the results! I…read morehad to reschedule several times and they were very accommodating. The technicians arrived right on schedule. They were extremely courteous and I asked them to explain the process before they began. The cleaning was thorough as they meticulously went through each vent and the main duct system. As expected there was a slight smell when starting the furnace back up (not dissimilar to how it might smell after being off all summer) but that cleared up quickly. We haven't had them cleaned in the 12 years we've been here (I know, I know...) but I really expected them to be worse. They even replaced the filters on the furnace (I provided them). The pricing was reasonable and comparable to similar services. It took about 3 hours for a 3k sq ft house. We also had them clean out the dryer vent.

I brought my Blundstones here to have the soles replaced and was charged $120. When I dropped them…read moreoff, I was told the new soles were high quality and that the boots would essentially last me a long time. Based on that explanation and the price, I expected a professional, durable repair. When I picked the boots up, it became clear that the soles had been glued on. The shop owner later stated that this was explained upfront, though I don't personally recall it being emphasized in a way that made it clear this would be a glue-only repair with no stitching or reinforcement. Regardless, I was not expecting the quality of the work to be this poor. The glue job looked sloppy, and the soles started coming apart not long after I got them back. If I had understood that this repair would be glue-only and done at this level of quality, I would not have gone through with it and would have put the money toward a new pair of boots instead. I no longer live in Portland, so I wasn't able to return immediately. About six months later, when I was back in town, I brought the boots in again. To his credit, he agreed to redo the gluing . Unfortunately, even after the second attempt, the work still looks messy and you can still see the glue coming apart in some places. Although he was somewhat nice about it, for the price charged and the expectations set about longevity, this was a big disappointment. Fair warning to customers considering a sole replacement here: in my experience, the repair was glue-only, and the quality did not match the cost.
