We were miles from home when we got a flat tire on our 2017 Dodge Ram, and much to our surprise, there was no spare tire. Roadside Assistance set us up with Jim's Towing, who not only arrived before the expected ETA, but were professional, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. When unloading our truck, our driver even noticed the spare tire winch cable had been cut, which would explain the missing spare. The alternator went out on our car while exploring North Cascade National Park. It was the hottest day of the year, we were 4+ hours from home and we have 3 young children. Tristan picked up me & our car and was the true hero of the day. He called around to find a place that had an alternator for my car then replaced it for me in a parking lot. He went above and beyond what his job required. He helped out our family so much and was so nice the entire time. BEWARE: get your agreed upon price for towing in writing up front. I was up-charged about 15% on my credit card without approval upon arrival at the destination. I was told it was because it took 30 minutes longer, when in fact I received a call from the driver Tristan that he had arrived at 11am and was unloaded 30 minutes ahead of what he told me it would be when we left. Tristan told me we should expect him at 11.30am as he had to stop for gas (and to pick up his girl friend we later found out.) Tristan the driver is very careful with cars. This is the second time he has transported a vehicle for me. The first was paid for by Hagerty. I am puzzled about Nate the owner that he does not want repeat business. Why would he intentionally aggravate and up-charge a repeat customer? A customer active on social media and who has been a Hagerty customer for over 30 years and knows people there. I'd like to give Nate the owner of Jim's towing the opportunity of reversing the non-disclosed, unauthorized overcharge on my credit card. It was not appropriate at the time it happened to make a "scene" at the place of business where my automobile was delivered. So I signed and made note that it was under protest and promised to let others know what had happened.However, it is never my intent to hurt a small business if it can be avoided.........so consider making good on this Nate? read more

Nate, the driver who came to help me out on 27 November, was awesome! I had already had to be towed home to Concrete by another wonderful tow company, Washington because I blew out a tire in Sedro-Woolley and couldn't get the tire off...but, there was no getting the vehicle to a place that could get the tire off without help the next day, either! Thankfully, my roadside assistance helped me out in both directions, and Jim's Towing made it happen! Courteous, professional, friendly...and willing to help! I have USAA. My little Mazda Miata ended up in the ditch on a wintery day here in Anacortes. Jim's Towing was right on time...even a little early, and after they saw my car, even though I'm sure it was more trouble, decided to use a flatbed-type winch system.
