ZERO 's actually!!! I called and got Jim's 2 weeks ago as a new customer. I was told to have it out Thursday morning by 8:30. We put it out Wednesday night down at the bottom of our 200 yard driveway. Thursday evening I call Jim and tell him no one came and he rudely says, Give them time! They'll be there up to 5! No one came. We take our bags back up the 200 yards. I skip the call and wait for this week. Wednesday night we have our bags out, but now there's more.... No one comes Thursday!! I call him today(Friday) and I couldn't get a word in!! He talked over me the whole time, all muffled, telling me to put it out and they'll be up. I try to explain to him what a pain this is 2 weeks now of moving now ripped, leaky, bags in my vehicle after I was told to put them out TWICE and he could care less! Repeated himself talking over me the whole time to put it out and they would come! I'm pissed! This man is rude beyond words and cares not about his clients. Canceling today and I don't recommend AT ALL read more

I am suspicious of negative comments. I have been a customer for over 20 years. They have always been awesome. Sure, on a few rare occasions I have experienced minor issues. However, they resolved them quickly and efficiently. When I sold my house I needed meany bags removed that day before the new owner arrived. I made one call......the bags were gone in a few hours! When I am over the allowed number of trash bags, I just call and give them a heads up. They NEVER leave any bags behind! Good luck finding anyone at a lower cost. read more

My husband and I have a soft spot for the small local business owner. We hired Jim's Trucking in the interest of giving our garbage and recycling collection business to a small, local business instead of a corporate collector. We had a few hiccups in our service in the year we utilized Jim's Trucking. One week, they missed us but then came by the next day. Not a huge deal. Two weeks ago, we found shards of glass at the base of our driveway after they had collected. I wasn't happy but thought it was a fluke. This past week, there was a large, jagged broken wine bottle neck left in the middle of our street at the base of our driveway along with more shards of glass. It was obvious no one attempted to clean up after collection. This was the last straw and I canceled service with Jim's and hired another company. When Jim called to follow up on my cancellation, he was immediately confrontational, trying to blame kids in my neighborhood for the broken glass. This absolutely infuriated me. I told him to be sure to cancel my account and hung up. Hopefully Jim will improve his service but I'm not willing to take another chance. read more

Absolutely horrible service! Never shows up to get the garbage and then lies about receiving money for bills and then adds an extra $70.00 on the bill out of nowhere for months that they never even showed up for the garbage!! IF you are considering using them...DO NOT!! It is easier and much cheaper to just take the garbage to the dump yourself! read more

Today we are cancelling Jim's trucking for our garbage pick up. They are horrible. Miss garbage days frequently. You call them and they argue with you. Lie and say it wasn't out on time when It most certainly was. They may come days later. Then on your next assigned day you get home from work and there's all your garbage still. Call them and they say since they came late last time they won't be here till next week. I've had it. Nothing but a run around. I do not recommend them for garbage pick up unless you enjoy a run around. Terrible. On top of that they tell you that you owe them some crazy amount of $$. James Craven is a crook and runs a dumpster fire of a business. Avoid at all costs. He's a clown. read more

Hired this outfit about 1 year ago. They would have gotten a better review if they would have picked up our trash every week. Seemed they have a problem with consistency and then drivers lying saying that we didnt have our trash out. Seriously, if you need trash pick up look somewhere else. read more

Well... Started out OK with the exception of not getting billed for months. Every time I would call and ask about getting billed, I was told they sent it... but I wouldn't get a bill.. Finally the last time I got a hold of them about no getting a bill, I found out they were sending it to the wrong place... When I finally got a bill, it was over 100 dollars. We would always have our garbage out before 7 am. On occasion, it would still be there that night. I would call and they would say either they forgot what day it got picked up, not sure what happened. The last straw was when I personally put the garbage out before 6:30 am, It was still there at 4 pm. I called to see if they were picking it up and I was told that it wasn't out there when they came through and that I had to have it out by 8 am. I told them it was out at 6:30 am. The gentleman proceeded to argue with me and called me a liar by stating that they were going to take pictures from now on. Personally, I wish they would have by now because I would have proof that either they never showed up or they were at the wrong house. Spend the extra 10 bucks on the Casella and save yourself the hassle. read more

Got to give these guys a fair review. The Good: They've let me go a couple months behind on paying and still provide service which I appreciate. They've informed me when certain items by the curb are going to be costly. They are very affordable for their service. The Bad: Their customer service could use some more work - I dread speaking with them because I sometimes feel its a chore for them to talk to me. They say to leave the trash at the curb by 8am but sometimes they don't pick up until 5pm and sometimes they don't until the next day. read more

I've been using Jim's for a few years now. It started very rocky. I went literally months without a bill. I approached the drivers on more than one occasion concerned and told them to make sure i receive one. I even offered to give them a check. They refused. 2 weeks later I'm outside doing lawn work and a guy walks up my driveway to inform me they wont take my garbage unless I pay them right then. Needless to say I was pissed. I told him to get the boss on the phone. I explained to whoever I spoke with the history leading to this point. And as far as I was concerned them not billing me was their problem. They were apologetic, and I paid. I regularly receive bills now. And service has been on point. read more
