Cody at the front desk said to bring it in, and they had our tire repaired and back on the vehicle very quickly and economically. Made a 10Am appointment for tire sensor , oil change and tire rotation. I'm 20 minutes away I get there and they say they will try to get me in at 10:30. The place is dirty and unreliable. No apology or anything. Never again. read more

I usually do my own work but decided to let mavis on church st do my brake lines and rear discs and pads. Drove five miles home and smoke was billowing from passenger rear and brake fluid dripping on driveway. Called and was told it was normal to heat up when new and the drip was coming from the old lines. Why in the world would you leave old lines hanging ?? I pulled wheel and removed caliper to find no lube was used on sliders or rubber lube on calipers. So i lubed everything and is fine now. After that i inspected the brake line they installed from proportin valve to rear axle , it weaves in and out of frame and wedged in one spot between gas tank and tank staps,and rattles along entire length with no attachment points at all. And also they forgot to replace my bleeder caps.. read more

I've been a long time customer at the Larchmont Mavis Tire location. I've spend thousands of $ there over the years. The last purchase of a set of tires I got a quote from someone named Matt. He must be in some central office. So I go to the store, have the tires installed and they want to charge me more. I told them about the quote I'd gotten. They tried to contact Matt but he could not be found and they claimed they could not change something in the computer. This went on back and forth for a half hour or so and finally I just paid so I could get out of there. I ended up paying about $50 more that I thought it was going to cost, 4 tires about $960. So then it happens that I get a flat on one of these tires a couple weeks later. I bring it to them and they repair it and because I'd not purchased the damage plan, they charge me $35. I didn't complain, it's not going to change my life. I will not, however, purchase another set of tires from them. The place is dirty, dirty dirty.....and the desk guy has no personality. read more

My brake line blew on my truck on the way to the mall to pick up my lawnmower. These guys were real busy, but managed to get me in the shop. Replaced my brake line and we were on our way. They were also real reasonable as far as how much they charged me. read more
