Oxtail from Jireh Family Farms was super juicy and tender.

Wow! the eggs are so fresh, there is no funky smell or taste, so clean! I my never buy from anywhere else. We ordered oxtail to make a Guyanese holiday favorite, Pepper Pot, and it was succulent and juicy. The bacon was excellent too. Jireh Family Farm will be our go to monthly. The chicken on the farm. The kids loved watching the animals while they swim.

What an amazing family and place. My best friend told me about this place which was close to our home. We initially booked the pool for 2 hours and ended up not wanting to leave. The children enjoyed themselves, the pool was clean, the environment was clean and the animals were perfect addition to our time there. We ended up buying fresh meat, eggs, and vegetables. We definitely will be back to support this amazing family. They were so nice made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us, allowed us to see the animals and teach our children about the animals and vegetables. The items purchased are fresh and delicious.

There are lots of produce choices, several plant stalls, a couple of meat vendors, several florists, and then some truly great food vendors. There is also a whole indoor area with lots of great vendors, some food options, and coffee. It's absolutely ginormous! It's a must visit when in Raleigh!

However, there was a ton of live plants and truckloads of fresh vegetables for sale. Couple that with gourmet cheeses and baked and canned goods and you have a situation you could spend a lot of money on. As a snack, we bought a jalapeño cheese roll which was very good. You could definitely do some wallet damage here. I'd like to see this place on a weekend. My one criticism are the produce prices. $3.99/lb for slicing tomatoes and $12 for a watermelon. Other produce is equally expensive. This is rather boujee pricing and it's obvious they aren't targeting the average consumer. I love supporting local farmers but prices like this make it difficult. Come and check it out for yourself. It really is a sight to see and you could spend a whole morning or afternoon here. But guard your wallet. It would be easy to get carried away here.

Today for the 1st time we went to the Raleigh Farmers Market and was absolutely shocked at their offerings. All the vendors are eager to serve and please so, we loaded up on fruits and vegetables. I'm so happy I'm back to my normal diet. From this day forward I will always support the local farmers and never again buy fruits and vegetables from the grocery store.

Visited recently late on a Sunday ( maybe an hour before they closed) Great location with plenty of parking. Besides fresh produce, it also has fresh fish, a seafood restaurant, and a few other specialty shops. Open 7 days a week, I would go all the time if I lived in the area. But like most farmer's markets, "most" prices are no cheaper than your local grocery store, but the selecatiosn here are great. Espeially now in the Fall with tiomns of pumpkins & gourds, Saw stands with huige selections of plants & shrubs for home gardens & landscaping. Bought some fresh NC corn & honey. One stand had a HUGE selection of almost every pepper I ever heard off. Cant wait to go back. ( no pets!)
