I must say that I was expecting some heat from the jalapeños. For my main dish, I had the shrimp and grits. It took a few swallows before the flavor kicked in. The sauce was tasty, but was maybe a notch above mildly seasoned. I have a feeling that the tomatoes in the recipe added a little acidity. With the addition of spinach, this dish landed in gourmet territory. From what I gather, the restaurant has been under new management for a few years. It feels like they are working out kinks. I ordered blackened catfish with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. This was a hit. It was full of flavor without going overboard with seasoning. And I appreciate that it was cooked to order. It made up for the cranberry juice being water with a "hint" of cranberry juice, an indication that it probably came from a tap. Service was top and one of the owners made rounds to check on customers. I may stop by again at some point in the future. It would certainly be a welcomed break when I am taking respite from cooking at home.

After sitting at the bar for 15 minutes without being served, we left. We observed him eating at the end of the bar talking to a friend. Went to another establishment and found out the bartender on duty at 6:30 pm is known to be less than attentive. He must be related to someone who works there. He is the only male bartender that works there Not interested in returning during his shifts. On a positive note, we did go a few weeks ago and met bartender MJ. She is awesome - friendly and attentive. Enjoyed meeting her.
