This was the most pathetic version of, "you're not worth my time get out of here bud" that I have ever seen. Rude and offered no apology or offer to come back tomorrow. I sent the follow message to the service manager Mike Bradley and received no reply. I called earlier this week about scheduling an appointment for an oil change. I was specifically told by the gentleman on the phone that it was a first-come-first-serve matter. I arrived at the service center today at 2:10 p.m. The service advisor acknowledged me and asked me what I needed. I told him I wanted an oil change. He abruptly replies, "there are no oil changes available." I have visited many dealerships and have never been refused an oil change. It is not like I showed up near closing time. Whatever the reason for non-service today it did not seem right. I left this dealership and had my oil changed at Cable Dahmer Chevrolet. The oil change was a nonissue. The service underwriter was cordial and polite. Why can't your service department replicate the same service and treatment that I received today at another dealership? My intent for visiting your service center was to support the dealership that I purchased my Malibu from. Granted, an oil change is one of the more affordable service needs of customers. If you are unable to handle the minor needs of a customer, why would I return for more expensive services in the future? Communication is important. If there is a hard cutoff for an oil change then state, the policy for everyone to know and understand. I was both sad and disappointed when I left your service center today. I will not be returning in the future.

Blue Springs Ford has been dishonest, combative, and unprofessional. If you see in the pics, I've been told 2 times they will no longer correspond with me. WTH PEOPLE, YOU HAVE THE VEHICLE AND ARE NOW WRECKING MY CREDIT. UPDATE, SEPT 22: I just heard from Chance Baker, a Sales Manager there. His professionalism it seems is out the window, as his response was in bold, oversized letters and made sure to point out "This concludes our correspondence. For real this time." Blue Springs Ford said they would straighten out their mistake and here we are, no car, no resolution and a lot of phone calls. Update, Sept. 16: We returned the vehicle to the dealership so they could unwind the deal. That was 3 days ago and we're still waiting to see if deal has been unwound. The lender is reaching out as well to me, because they haven't heard from the dealership. And sadly, the GSM didn't even know it had been there since Sunday as of this morning and he's been included in ALL EMAILS. And the first communication I had from him after all this time included a snarky comment that was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. On July 30, 2026 I submitted a credit application with this dealership as a CO-SIGNER. But not before I spoke with Chance Baker, one of the Sales Managers. I explained the fraud scenario at Smithville Ford (I had no idea these dealerships were Balderston Auto dealerships) and said I would fill out as a co-signer if they would initially only submit to one bank and that I would only unlock 1 Credit Bureau & not all 3. He let me know which one to unlock, which I did. We arrived at the dealership to complete the deal and thought everyone was on the same page. (Salesman was well aware of scenario and made sure to keep me as secondary on all paperwork on his end) Imagine my surprise when I learn that I'm Primary on the loan when the bank sends me the Welcome packet. I was a co-signer/applicant and Blue Springs Ford altered that credit application. Plain and simple. This should NEVER BEEN DONE WITHOUT DISCUSSING AND GETTING MY CONSENT, it's the law. And to top it off, the AWD vehicle that was purchased has 2 sets of different tires on it. BIG NO-NO. So at this point I'm waiting on Blue Springs Ford to address and correct these scenarios. When I asked for a new set of tires to be placed on the car prior to purchase they offered me a set of used tires from another lot "at no charge to me" and acted as if this was some sort of victory. I don't trust them or their "27 point safety inspection and reconditioning" that they tack $1000 for every used car. Shady practices. Spent about a quarter of the time at carmax as I did with these guys and got a better, safer and cleaner car for my teenage daughter at CarMax. Save your time and money and skip this place.

We called Dalton around 5:00 pm and without hesitation he told us to come up and look at the truck. My boyfriend fell in love with it as soon as we took it for a test ride. Dalton was clear and honest about the flaws that the truck had, but offered solutions to all of them. We also had the pleasure of meeting Michael, who is the owner of the dealership. Both Dalton and Michael worked to get our monthly payments as low as possible with a reasonable interest rate, and they were able to get us the most out of our trade in as reasonably possible. They were very straight forward, and equally reasonable. We kept Dalton at the dealership for two additional hours and he maintained a positive and kind attitude the entire time. We didn't feel rushed or taken advantage of. They are a family owned business, and I highly recommend buying from Munsterman Automotive. They actually listen to your needs and value the relationship they build with their clients. Also, they were able to to get us a better deal than any other dealer offer we had previously dealt with. The Reality of the Experience: The Delay: After waiting for 3.5 hours with absolutely no updates, I finally went to check on my vehicle myself--only to discover they hadn't even started on it yet. A Widespread Issue: I wasn't the only one. The waiting room was filled with multiple other frustrated customers who had also been left waiting for hours on end for simple services. Management's Response: I ended up speaking directly with the Service Manager, and his only response was to say he was sorry and that they were "behind." No kidding they were behind! Forcing customers to wait over four hours for a basic oil change and tire rotation without a single proactive update was completely irresponsible and unacceptable. Saying "we're behind" does not excuse a total lack of communication and respect for a customer's time. This dealership seriously needs to get their house in order to better serve their customers. But CARMAX didn't flinch when providing an online offer so I took it in, expecting they would lowball it, which they did: by 1/3. However, some inconsistencies were reported by the agency, reflecting odometer tampering, battery & tires purchase dates, that were bringing down the price. Jose, at the Independence store gave me a number to call and see if the agency could match the information could explain so it could be updated before COB. Agency said it would take 3 hours, already 2:30, so it would be close. Long story short, the agency came through (I didn't have to spend the night in the store, as I had decided to stay until the items were updated). The final check was just what I was quoted on the CARMAX site. I knew what my car's value was. It was PERFECT and the store could set it out on the lot without touching up anything! EVERYONE, whether selling outright, or trading, should read carefully the details on the printed estimate that can bring a car's price down several thousand dollars. I ended up walking out with a check a few hundred less than the original online offer.
