Waited nearly 7 hours while trying to purchase a truck. Paperwork came out and I luckily caught damage on the truck I wasn't informed of during the 7 hours prior. IMO, this was intentionally done to tire me out, in hopes I'd sign paperwork without thoroughly reading. My vehicle was taken away right off the bat so I'd feel obliged to purchase something. Went with a new truck and was told engine issues were resolved. Turns out that's not true. Was also told the truck wasn't the same as the damaged one I was looking at. That wasn't true either, it was the same model, trim, and features. Financing initially brought out a ridiculous rate. I could still hear them talking about the rate and saying they'd tell me that's as low as they could go (I had cash in hand and didn't need to finance). Of course, hearing them, I knew they could and got a lower rate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Needless to say, that's not a great experience and the tactic of wasting 7 hours of someone's time to exhaust them and drag them out to store closure is scummy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lesson learned though, I'll walk out of any dealer trying that again. I bought a RAV4 and my sister bought a SUV from you guys We had very good luck with legends TOYOTA Hector was the mechanic that seemed to always look after us But recently, I Took my Toyota RAV4 there After I was having some issues with what seemed like my transmission was acting up. After doing everything that they recommended, they gave me my slip back with all green on my transmission And told me I was good to go, After of course, paying him $1600 I then drove to Wichita and my transmission went out. I talked to the mechanic in Wichita and he said I find it very hard to believe that this Toyota was just serviced. He said the transmission fluid was black and he also said that there should've been signs that there was issues on that transmission that TOYOTA should've caught. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called TOYOTA to talk to him, they went through all my history and said oh you missed A transmission flashing and that's what caused it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm not a mechanic. I like to trust my Machanic when they tell me stuff.. My dad, my brother and myself all 3 bought trucks within a couple of months of each other. I've been complaining about my truck pulling since I'd had it for about a month. I work a lot and wasn't able to get the truck to them, until today. I was getting the trucks first oil change and tire rotation. I asked them to look at the alignment and was told it's beyond the mileage of the alignment warranty. Went to this location for a recall that put me at risk driving an unsafe vehicle only to walk away from a repair that made my car unsafe to drive.(I have owned this car for four years). The recall was for seat belt and airbag recall. Ten days after repair my steering wheel was hard to turn. (I don't drive often so probably the third day driving after the recall update). I went back to the service dept to find out that it was my clockspring which is located in the steering wheel. They stated that the steering wheel was not touched during the service and quoted $850.00 for repair.(The manager was not in). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Called a week later to speak with manager. He looked into the matter. Stated he spoke with the mechanic who service my car and assured me that the steering wheel was not touched. Quoted $650.00 to repair. He apologized for the former incorrect quote[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. My time dealing with the individuals at this location made clear that there is a disconnect that makes it detrimintal for the car owner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I drove an hour to look at a vehicle (the facility was aware I was coming). When I arrived I was told "See that couple down there? They just purchased that vehicle. Do you want to look at a different one?"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I should have left then, but I chose to look at a similar one and decided to purchase it. I was going to purchase via finance and was asked what bank I preferred.  I told the staff I my preferred my bank, however, if they were unable to get ahold of them do to it being late in the evening, I was ok with other options that were at the same interest rates. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After sitting in the lobby for 1.5hrs, a sales rep reached out to me about not being able to get ahold of the bank, (of course it is past the closing time for the bank).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]  I notified her that I said it was ok to use a different route to finance. She was unaware of this, so she went back and told finance to use Toyota for the loan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I continued to wait with zero feedback as to what was going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I walked to the desk and asked to just pay cash for the vehicle to get the process moving. I was told this was fine. I went to my vehicle and got my registration paperwork for them. In this 5min they were able to talk with toyota and get me a loan, yet I had been waiting over 1.5hrs. I then showed the sales rep on my phone, the current payoff amount left on my vehicle via the bank's online portal. I specifically asked if it matter whether he looked it up or if I could just show it to him.  He stated "Either way is fine." After a wait, we moved along with the process, got everything switched over and headed on my way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I received a phone call a week later. The rep left me a voicemail stating the payoff amount was incorrect and then the voicemail went silent for 5seconds before returning stating I needed to return his phone call to make an additional payment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I returned his phone call 7 minutes after he left the voicemail, to which I was told he was unavailable. However, he text me 9min after I returned the phone call. I notified him that I had called back and he was unavailable. I received no response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]  I took it upon myself to go back through paperwork to find out what he may be talking about and discovered that he had transposed 2 numbers on the payoff amount on the paperwork. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I continued to wait for a phone call back and had not received one.  I called back at 4:15p. Once again he was not available. He finally called me back at 5:01p, explained the situation as the payoff amount was more than I gave him and I owed over $600 more on my payoff and wanted to know how I was going to pay Toyota the extra cash[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I then notified him that amount was not correct and that the amount I gave him was correct and he transposed the numbers, to which he responds to me, "You were in a hurry that night and you gave me the wrong numbers." He continually placed the blame on me and I notified him I wanted to speak to the accounts manager.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He told me to contact my bank and he would have the accounts manager call me.  I spoke with the bank and they sent me the exact payoff amounts.   [[HIGHLIGHT]]Days later and a message sent, I received a message from the same sales rep stating he, "could not get ahold of the accounts manager." I asked him what that person's name was.  He again did not respond until after 5p(conveniently, he never called me back before 5p when managers would be available)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].  [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the main line the next afternoon and asked for the accounts manager who is listed on the website.  I found out that person is no longer employed there. I then asked who the accounts manager was and if I could speak with them.  The person I spoke with on the phone was unable to even tell me the name of the accounts manager[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I was placed on hold for 7 minutes while they tried to "figure out" who this person was.  I hung up.  I don't have time to wait on faculty to decide who their appropriate staff members are. I finally received a phone call from accounts.  I explained the situation to her, however, the previous sales rep did not give her the full story about transposing numbers and that he was calling asking me to pay additional money.  He told her I needed her to explain to me where the numbers came from. I felt as if she was completely blindsided in this. She stated she would talk with the sales rep and call me back. A week later, no phone call. I called Toyota again and asked to speak to the previous person. The staff who answered the phone told me they did not have anyone in finance by that name. After several discussions the money issue was resolved. Then it was a issue to get my title. Multiple emails and phone calls later, I received my title with 10 days to get my tags. I have not had a good experience with the service department. I also have not had this many problems with tires. I went for my 5000 mile inspection which is tire and wheel. I had to fill my tire up before the appointment and asked if they would check it. They told me it was fine. I get off work and it's almost flat. So now I have to miss work so I can go get it checked again. I called them and they are no help I just get put on hold. The tires they are putting on 4 wheel drive vehicles are crap. All I am doing is driving to work and home. I am not impressed with the service department at all. read more

My boyfriend and I took our cars here to be serviced on a Saturday. We had made an appointment online ahead of time, and brought our cars at the appointed time. When we entered the service center, two employees came out to greet us and take some information on our cars. I was here for my 25,000 mile service and my boyfriend his 30,000. Mines was pretty straightforward and I was charged the amount posted on the website when I scheduled my appointment. During the inspection the technician A.Kroll found that my passenger side wheel bearing was wearing down, and needed to replaced. Luckily it was still covered under warranty, so Alex Rodriguez, my service consultant, had the part ordered and would call me at a later date for the repairs to be made. Overall, my service took about an hour and 30 minutes, and I had a pleasant experience. My boyfriend on the other hand found out that his service would cost over 2x as much as was estimated on the scheduling website, so he definitely did not enjoy his experisnce. We were quoted about $180 online for his service, but ended up paying over $450 because the website only listed basic services at that mileage, not all Toyota Factory recommended services which I find pretty ridiculous considering we had selected the 30,000 miles service. If we're scheduling service for 30,000 miles, wouldn't we want to know the exact cost of what Toyota recommends at that mileage before we book it? It feels as if they're not being completely upfront online to just get you through that door. read more

Wow the worst experience I witness ever! My father and mother bought brand new toyota Sienna and was given the bait and switch. I feel like they been taking advantage of because english is not their first language. Given a different car than was sold, then when the car was brought back acted like no big deal , they stated mistakes happen. It could be a lot worse like an accident or insurance fraud since different VIN numbers were being used. We would been liable and wouldn't have no recourse other wise.The difference in price from platinum hybrid vs LE over $12,000. My father even bought the GAP ($500) and warranty for ($2500). (Lawyer's and news personnel, have been contacted). Instead of being rewarded for our honesty and understanding, we were disrespected and were offered measly $200 on $50,000 car for inconvenience fee, after having to beg for some type apology like we were some poor peasants by Duce Lett, supposedly the owner. This more of principle issue, but they should at rectify at least my father missing work for two days and my mother as well. Plus we live almost 45 minutes each way and used separate vehicles to get there. Why should we ask for anything when they made the mistake and should go above and beyond to keep our business and want future business. He was very rude, non-sympathetic and dismissive about the whole situation. Even asked why am I here and upset about it, its not even your car. Its my mother and father being taking advantage by shady business practices, I replied. My father is old school man who works for every penny in his life and declined respectively and was not even upset and upbeat for the opportunity, just to be blessed with a brand new car. He uses this car to drive Uber and Lyft and I couldn't be any prouder of him because he works not cause he has too but passionate about providing for himself and his wife and also bringing smile to strangers face by offering a simple thing as ride.( over 30 years driving and millions miles driven) I have to admit I was passionate about the disrespect to my parents intelligence and severity of negligence by the whole Legends dealership, especially Duce Lett. After all said and done, I let go Let God because to the respect and wishes of my father. I even asked to see how much my wife car would trade in for since we just welcome a newborn two weeks and need more room for the car seat. I was refused service and given the response, we will not take your business, but your father, is already under contract by General Manager Duce Lett. This place needs to be investigated by corporate Toyota and at least by BBB or even the journalistic perspective because it seems like this has happened before and do not want someone who is foreign or non- native english speaking individual be taking advantage again. This is quite an interesting review for me to write, because not too long ago I had an absolutely 5-star experience with Legends Toyota and thought for sure I would be a lifetime customer. Recently I brought my extremely clean 2020 vehicle with only 4000 miles in to trade on a new truck (which was coming in August). When I first brought the trade in, they were very enthusiastic about the vehicle and were eager to check it out. I paid my deposit on the new truck while waiting on them to inspect the trade. After they pulled the Carfax and appraised it, the sales rep gave a long speech about how the Used Car Manager "barely even wants this vehicle". The Carfax had a couple extremely minor items, with the most significant being a "odometer discrepancy". They offered absolutely no explanation about how to fix the discrepancy, offered a hilariously low price ($20k under NADA), and gave a long speech about how "any higher and I could lose my job". I immediately went to Carmax and a competing Toyota dealership. Both Carmax AND the other Toyota dealership offered me explicit instructions of how to fix the mileage discrepancy (easy fix - I called the Toyota dealership where we the truck had been purchased and serviced every time - they acknowledged the mileage fat-finger and immediately corrected it on the Carfax). Then Carmax and the other dealership offered me $20k and $15k more than Legends respectively, and all three dealers (including the one where I bought the truck) told me straight up that Legends was deliberately avoiding telling me how to fix the Carfax so they could massively massively low-ball me on the trade offer. They also acknowledged that WITH the Carfax taken into consideration as-is it was still at least $10000 too low. I called my rep at Legends and explained the situation and he feigned apology, promising me to call the next morning and "get it figured out". I never heard from him again so I finally called and cancelled my deposit on the new vehicle, content to never step foot in that dealership again. Very disappointing because again, once upon a time this was my favorite dealership I've ever worked with. Don't know if was my specific sales rep, the Used Car Manager, or some combination of both but I really thought this sort of shady car sales stuff was a thing of the past. read more

One time they forgot to replace the oil filler cap, but no biggie. Until my latest service, this past Friday. Just a routine oil change, tire rotation, and "multi-point inspection". Returned home. Short trip to town on Saturday. Drove to Valencia on Sunday and after business concluded tried to go home. No joy. Turned the key. No buzzer, no dash lights, no nothing. Hmm, that's weird. Did I leave it in gear? No. Try again. Nothing. Pop the hood. Obviously electrical, start with the battery. Positive terminal tight. Negative, lifted right off. OK, that's weird. Wait a minute, this battery doesn't look right. What the heck? Wait, the battery hold-down bracket is loose. Check, no, not loose, but both J-hooks completely detached, the bracket just resting on top. Fortunately, I carry a tool kit. Tighten the negative terminal to the post. Re-attach the bracket. Car starts up. Good to go! Monday, visit the service department. Ask for explanations. Get nothing but denials and refusal to accept responsibility. They claim it was the same battery they installed in 2019 (yes, I did have a new battery installed then). The difference is that that battery was a zero maintenance battery with the fish-eye lens for checking condition. The battery in my vehicle now (today) does not. They further claim they would not remove the battery for the service I had done. But, they say, you had a major service (wheel bearing and rear diff replacement) in Oct (true), where the battery would have been removed. Well, in Nov, I did a 1500+ mile trip (one way) and always do pre-travel check. Oil, radiator, washer fluid, battery, tire pressure, leaks, that sort of thing. I would have noticed a loose terminal and unsecured battery. And the checks I made in Dec for the return trip, same thing. So, bottom line. They are calling me a liar. Something clearly happened. I think someone "traded" batteries in the service department. I don't know who, or why. But I do know that IF I return there, I will do my own multi-point inspection before I leave their garage.
