Better yet, her hourly rates are really affordable for wedding dress alterations, and she works lightning quick! I had a "sew while wait" appointment with her (alterations done in a single appointment) and she was so comfortable to spend the day with, really clear with what she wanted to do, and super helpful with all of my questions and concerns. We actually finished hours before our estimated time (and under her estimated total!) Carissa is really so friendly and talented, and tries her best to make sure you're comfortable. She has snacks and drinks set up, as well as a really comfortable couch for taking naps on :) She'll do anything she can to help - during our initial consultation meeting, she altered my engagement dress on the fly (and only for $15!!) Finally on Tuesday morning I called Mayday and the owner Nathan answered immediately. He worked around my scheduled and came out later that day. After looking at it, he ordered the part. Once it arrived he came back out Thursday, once again working around my schedule and quickly replaced it. While there, he even looked at some faucets that had water flow issues and a backed up drain and handled all of them. He was extremely friendly. His prices were also very reasonable, especially compared to some of these larger companies around here that charge an arm and a leg just for simple items.
