My family and I made an impromptu trip JLB Eatery and on that day they gain a slew of new fans. We were highly impressed by the amount of meal options. They had burgers, wings, salads, wraps, desserts and way more. There were about 20 of us in total and the customer service was amazing. A good chunk of us were indecisive on what wanted, but the cashier in the front was very kind and patient with all of us, even giving her own recommendations when we were torn between two or three options lol. Now... about the food, everything was GREAT! All of us rated our food and there was nothing less than a 7.5. I personally ordered their signature "Crazy Burger" - 10/10, easily. If you go, I highly recommend. The fries were great as well. Fresh and seasoned - 9/10. The shrimp wrap was good because the shrimp itself fills up the wrap very well and is fried/seasoned just right. I give it an 8/10. Also got wings (breaded) & they were also well fried & delish - 9.2 Everything was made when we ordered & served hot, which resulted in a slight wait but well worth it. The place was very comfortable and allowed all of us to sit in different sections. So glad we ended up JLB Eatery, it's definitely more on my "return to" list lol. read more

I picked up lunch from here recently on the way to the office. I placed an online order (with no additional fees!) and the process was quick and smooth. After checking out, it said my food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I was in the area and arrived within 10 minutes of placing my order. The restaurant is located in a strip center and there is plenty of shared parking. Perfect timing on arrival, because my food was freshly prepared out of the kitchen. The employee behind the counter was warm and friendly, and generously provided condiments and napkins as I took my food to-go. I ordered the 3 piece Fish & Chips (you can specify between 1-3 pieces). Here, they use swai fish and you can specify which type of breading you'd like - Cajun style (cornmeal) or London style (flour) - I went for the flour batter. Included on the side are fries, onion rings, toast, and a single hush puppy. The foam container was stuffed to the brim it couldn't even be shut. Not a bad thing since I know fried food like this needs to breathe in order to not get soggy. By the time I got to my office about 10 minutes later, my food was still piping hot. Among my whole platter of fried food, everything was still crispy as if I was eating it in the restaurant! It was so delicious - the fish fillets were battered well and had a good balance of fish and breading. The fries were seasoned nicely and the hush puppy, while only one, was a nice touch. I would definitely order this again, though would reconsider 3 pieces as I was stuffed and was ready for a nap by the time I finished. JLB has so many offerings I will definitely come back to try more, at any of their locations. Though I love sweet potato fries, the amount of fries I received for the substitution charge wasn't justified (+$3.33 up-charge on DoorDash). It was a good burger, but it didn't "wow" me. Wow what a great place for a burger. Coincidentally located catty corner to a Whataburger across the street. But I came here at eight and all I can say is "what a burger". First of all the patties are hand pressed, from what appears to be some very high-quality Angus beef. I foolishly ordered a double, and it was delicious but I was forced to get a box to take the rest of it home. And I ordered it without fries and it was still just too much to eat at one setting. Thousand Island dressing was a nice touch as well, and it was loaded down with tomatoes onions pickles and lettuce. I also ordered bacon but unless it's Wright Brand bacon folks it's just not that good. (I'm sorry I'm just a bacon snob) as with any hamburger, the bond is half of the experience, then they've got great fresh buns. I went to JLB Eatery last week had their chili cheese fries, hot honey bbq wings and Korean sweet/spicy wings. At first I just wanted chili cheese fries but their wings looked good as well so I got both. The wings are great, they were able to make them for me without the breading and I would definitely come back just for the wings alone. I got waffle fries for my chili cheese fries and while they gave a good amount of cheese I felt like they didn't have enough chili on the chili cheese fries which left me a bit disappointed. Overall the service was still great, the workers were enthusiastic about being there and helping you. The restaurant was clean and had a good amount of seating. Wow. Huge burger. I think the patties are 1/3 pound. I always get a double cheeseburger but only needed a single patty here! The burger tasted great, fries were great as well. Clearly I underestimated the size of the crazy burger, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the fries. Good cut of meat, balanced fat and lean; they were just fatty enough to chew into easily and yet not too fatty so that they held form while eating, near perfection. Personally, I think they could've been seasoned a little better; nothing really popped in my mouth. On to the condiments. Good but again, nothing spectacular. Maybe a tad more sauce or a stronger cheese. Also, because of how the condiments were arranged, my tomato kept sliding out. Bun was great, soft and lightly toasted. So the burger was good, tender meat, good size, soft bun; but it was missing the "wow" factor for me to put it up there with some of the greats I've had in my life. Fries were really good. Wow talk about portions! This is probably the biggest burger I've had in my life (took me 3 days to eat lol). I came here for the first time last weekend on a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy. Service was really friendly. I got the crazy burger (which is crazy because of the portions!) and Cajun wings. It took a few min to come out, and it was piping fresh. I really liked how the condiments were kept in the fridge and it was handed to you right after the food came out, as the ketchup and ranch was kept cold and clean. The burger was fantastic. Nothing bad I could say about it. The Cajun wings while still delicious, lacked much flavor. I was expecting some spicy/Cajun flavor but it tasted pretty plain imo. If I would have known, probably would have gone for a flavored wing like the Korean style. It's comedically large, in my opinion lol every time I come here, I can only eat half of a burger, the same goes for my bf, so it's honestly like buying two burgers instead of one. They were both delicious, but in a side-by-side tasting, my bf and I both decided the JLB BURGER blew the CRAZY BURGER out of the water! I know it sounds crazy and gluttonous, a beef patty *and* grilled chicken in one burger, but IT WORKS SO WELL!! I couldn't believe it! I originally ordered it thinking I wouldn't even notice the chicken and it'd just feel like a regular burger, that the flavors would be too muddled to even notice a difference, but it completely changed the game! This Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich is solid. It's a generous portion and served with a good amount of French fries which are seasoned, golden and crispy. TL;DR: They had an issue with the printer and after 32 minutes of waiting for my food I ask for a refund and ended up getting fast food. Basically walked in and ordered a double cheeseburger combo with chili cheese fries at 12:08pm. Got my fountain drink and took a seat. The guys behind me got some wings and a fish and fries plate. Time goes by and the guys got their food. At that exact time their food was ready, another existing customer ordered a burger and fries to go. When the lady called out "burger and small fries" I thought it was mine, but it was the to go order. So I patiently waited, seeing a few other customers walk in I take a look at the time and it's already 12:40pm. Giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, I wait a couple more minutes and decide to go up to the register to ask what's taking so long. Maybe they had to cook the chili from scratch...who knows. When I got up to the register, the kitchen door is open and I see a line of to go boxes, above 6 of them with burgers inside. At that moment I decide that I just want a refund. I ask the lady and she doesn't respond, just walks to the back and another guy comes out. I explain that it's been over 30 minutes and I just want a refund. He explains that they were having an issue with the printer. He issues me a refund and apologizes, which is fine. I thank him and leave. I'm sure this was just a one-off mistake, but if I'm going to spend $21 for lunch, I wouldn't expect this kind of mistake. read more

You would be hard for us to find a better bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for $15. The burger is large and is made to order. The fries, while basic, are perfectly cooked. And the availability of sweet tea makes having a drink as part of a combo a nice change of pace. The ambiance is nothing to brag about as a simple counter service.
