Service could be way better. The owner I believe does not know how to talk to people his customers or workers seem like. I was also reffered to this place and my good wasn't good at all for the service I received. I will never be going back due to the food and service.

I have eaten here about 3 to 4 times. I stared off loving them but slowly realized the meat quality is not well. I had to switch the meats when I got home, what is the point of getting a sandwich when you don't like the lunch meat that comes on it....

This place is a sandwich shop that time forgot! Overall a very chill ambiance and a mom and pop shop feel. The folks fixing the sandwiches were very helpful and made recommendations. Looking forward to making another stop in the near future. They close by 4, so come before then.

Amazing local sandwich shop celebrating 51 years!

A true Spring Branch hidden gem! Open for 51 years, their sandwich expertise shows. Just a simple small sandwich shop, but the service felt like true small-town southern hospitality. Ordered an egg sandwich and sliced ham and cheese sandwich- the total for both was under $8 and they were the best sandwiches I have ever had! We will definitely be back and you should stop by and grab a sandwich if in the area.

A buddy of mine dropped off a Philly cheesesteak and it was exquisite to say the least. The size was perfect. All the savory flavors, from the warm cheese to the fluffy golden bread, perfectly complimented each other. Almost made me forget how much I hate Philadelphia right now. GO STROS!

Order or grab and go here.

I'm really glad to support my local businesses. Definitely another Spring Branch gem. You can easily drive right by this location and not even blink. As already mentioned before, it's a definite "grab and go sandwich shop." I agree. I usually gravitate toward the 9" Italian sub but just started trying & liking the Philly Cheesesteak which is always hot and cheesy. This location has adapted nicely to Covid 19 procedures and still deliver the same affordable sandwiches that for some odd reason remind me of 'grade school sandwiches' which I thought were ok and somehow liked regardless their simpleness.

RUN to get the Roast Beef sandwich. Seriously, the BEST!! I also got the Famous Tuna but it has nothing on their Roast Beef on French. I also got the pickled jalapeño and it was not spicy at all. The pimento cheese helps with the spicy taste. Mom and pop with a second location.

Grab and go cheap lunch ..... no tables .... Sandwiches.... Chips .... Drinks .... Cookies .....

Really good sandwiches for really good prices. I read someone else's review & agree completely. You don't come here for some spectacular sandwich or fancy meal - you come here for a good ole, homemade sandwich. They're very well priced as well. You can get two combos for roughly $8-$10. The snobby girl at the front however .... If you can get past her rude demeanor and lack of personality; its a great place to grab a quick bite. Don't mind making conversation with her, it'll only give her a chance to ignore you more. My family and I have been coming here for years. Definitely a favorite.

I went on a weekend so it was busy, but it wasn't unbearable. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating which was nice. Staff, 10/10: no complaints here! They were extremely patient with me upon ordering when I had a lot of questions, even though there were people waiting behind me. They were informative, had great energy, and were also hustling to get people their orders as quickly as possible Food/Drinks, 10/10: As a vegan, coffee shops can be hit or miss, especially on the food. Having clearly labeled vegan options made it easy for me to have confidence with my choice (vegan all day). The bread was perfectly warm but not hard. Great flavor. I also asked for a matcha with strawberry puree & no foam to meet my dietary needs. It was delicious! The person I was with had no the smoked salmon avocado toast and what I recall to be the amazon cloud. She rated them both 10/10 with no hesitation. Very flavorful and refreshing. Overall this experience was 10/10 for both of us. It's a not so small coffee shop with diverse options, friendly staff, and a clean ambiance that makes me want to go back. Highly recommend.

The last time I was here, a server took our order. However, this time, after waiting for a looooong time at our table, I discovered that all ordering should be done at the counter. I like how open and spacious the place is but the booth seats were in poor condition, with extreme cracks and peeling pleather. Also, many of the tablets were dirty and I had to get up and ask for napkins to clean up the stains. Help was very limited during this visit. The baristas were engrossed in making drinks and didn't seem very friendly or eager to help with questions. On the bright side, the young gal who brought out our food and drinks was really nice and helpful. She even offered to spray down our table and wipe it clean for us after she saw how icky it was. There's a Pick 3 toasts for $24.95 option and we chose two smoked salmon toasts and one avocado toast. They were decently good. It was a nice light meal to share between two of us. However, the quality of the drinks has declined. The strawberry matcha used to be excellent but the flavor has lost its vibrancy. I would not order it again.

I have to say, this is one of the absolute worst sandwiches I've ever had in my 50+ years. The bread was so undercooked that it stuck to the wrapper and ripped to shreds upon opening. Additionally, it was so nauseatingly sweet that it overpowered any other flavors within the sandwich. The meats were also bland and flavorless, as was the white shallot balsamic dressing. I wish I had ample words to describe how utterly disappointing it was. If you're going to brand yourself around sandwiches, you'd think you'd at least make edible sandwiches. This place is worse than Subway (who I consider pure garbage)!!! UPDATE: I was sick as a dog for almost a week afterwards

It is a walk-up counter order setup--they bring the food out to your table, but you retrieve your own drinks and silverware. If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well.
