They lack the empathy of people's time. I scheduled a viewing for an apartment. I confirmed and sent my contact info. After that nothing. I made the drive out ONLY to find out, that they NEVER scheduled my viewing. I automatically knew by the sound of the young girl who picked up, that they had messed up and not scheduled my tour. They put me on a 10 min hold when the call dropped. I called again only to confirm my suspicions. They had the audacity to say "it was scheduled for tomorrow" making it seem like I was wrong. DO NOT rent from this property management company!! They do not care about the tenants of the properties they are managing. They rather tell NEW tenants with no criminal background and no evictions to move out rather than evict nuisance causing tenants. I had Martha who is supposed to be one of the managers there tell me I was "problematic and that they prioritized tenants who lived at the property longer" all because I was bringing up a tenant related issue because I lived next to some idiot that would blast loud music at 4am and flash my security cameras everynight at 4am. I have him on camera doing this as well as the wife stealing one of our amazon packages. DO NOT RENT at 611 N olive st in Anaheim. The neighbors from apartment 3 are the worst !! Martha you are the absolute worst and should be fired. She claimed I left my unit extremely dirty but I took photos of the unit when I vacated... these people will do anything to take money from the deposit. I asked them I wanted to be present with them during the final move out inspection, they declined and kept asking for my new address. Given that Martha or someone else from this office has a personal connection to the tenants from apartment 3 I declined sharing my personal information with them. They also wanted to send a deposit out through MAIL?? WTF! who sends over 1k through mail? they could have easily said they sent it out and got lost in the mail. I declined and picked up my shit in person. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY. I was going to sue for negligence since I have the dude on camera verbally assaulting me and coming at me and my family physically. Well, this company was hired to take over the management of my home when our building was sold. The first contact I had from them was a letter left on my door (not even mailed to e sure delivery), detailing how we must pay rent and asking for us to fill out new applications for an apartment we already reside in. Fine, done. I pay my rent via Bank of America bill pay so there is a paper trail, and thank goodness. The next contact I had with the company was a voicemail from Martha saying that I hadn't paid my rent. When I followed up explaining that I had in fact paid my rent on time, and had proof of check delivery from my bank, I was told to send in proof of delivery. Fine, done. I then received no confirmation of receipt of that email, or of my check. I then wake up today to a fraud alert on my bank account asking if I had issued the check in question. Sure enough, the check has been cashed. When I call JLE to verify that they did find the check, because of said fraud alert, I find out that the reason they didn't have my check is because they had a broken mailbox they couldn't access. So I got to panic for 48 hours that my rent was unpaid, and then my check stolen, all because they had a broken mailbox and didn't think to call a locksmith before accusing tenants of non-payment. Trying to clarify all of this with the office manager Martha was like beating my head against a wall. She was absolutely unconcerned that she might have caused tenants undue stress, and claimed the check was only delivered today (despite my previous proof of delivery). Update: after a fire in the building that destroyed gas and water lines, we have now been in an unlivable unit with no ability to cook or shower for almost a week. Requests for alternative housing have been ignored. Update 2: They have lost our checks 2 additional times. Each time, rather than just picking up the phone to call, they taped an unsealed, unprofessional eviction notice to the door. Thank goodness for delivery receipts, because I was able to use those to show that they did in fact have my check. Update 3: We were finally able to find alternative housing and moved out. Then they tried to bill us $450 for a "cleaning fee" when we already had the unit professionally cleaned when we moved out. Pressed for more information, and they claimed the charge was because we didn't move the gas stove to clean behind it. Obviously it's unsafe to move gas appliances with the gas line connected, but until I threatened legal action they insisted I pay the cleaning fee. Thankfully I withheld my final month's rent in place of trying to get my deposit back, because I knew they'd do something shady like this The most unprofessional company I have ever done business with. Would give zero stars if that was an option. If you must do business with them, send everything via certified mail so you have receipts when they try to lie about payments made etc. read more

This review is for the apartment complex on Highland St in the city of Santa Ana that is managed by this company. We've live here for 3 years and since day one issues have occurred with other tenants. Over the three years, we had issues. They let their children run wild, trash everywhere, condoms at one point, destroy property, etc. The first couple of days were enough. I am basically picking after the trash in my patio area everyday to this day. No joke. People here drink, a few sub lease apartments so you don't know who lives here, basically crowded apartments among friends and family. I get it life is hard and cost of living is worst. Secondly, the housewives here all they do is gossip and stir up problems since they do NOT work and have nothing better to do. At one point, some of us come home like midnight and all you want to do is come home, shower, and sleep. Simple right? The housewives would be playing loteria (Mexican lottery) almost every night outside, laughing and gossiping loudly until 4 am in the morning. Really? People want to sleep. Maybe once in a while, or at least keep it within their apartments. Some played music so loudly pass 10pm. One can only endure so much. You would think they could be considerate? Nope, not until you call management. The people here got all offended, but they don't follow rules? Third, the males who live there drink and piss on the property. Especially that one night where one neighbor pissed by my bedroom window while my two year old at the time was there and the man has an apartment there, but can't use it? Does this make sense? The man laughs when I called him out and told him off. My husband was angry that a grown man can't go to his apartment to piss. Anywho? Forth thing, one event the city does inspections and check properties. The management had to send a letter everyone since everyone had junk and using their patios as a storage unit. Everyone here thought it was us, the trouble that caused, housewives giving us dirty looks yet they are the ones living in overwhelming poverty. Fifth issue, people here take your parking and think it's okay. For one we don't know them or ask permission. I get it if you want to have a visitor and want to ask no problem whether I say yes or no. Let alone they already let each other borrow or share parking spots. At one point, the someone took my spot, so I went to look for the owner. It was a neighbor's daughter, after waiting 5 mins, she came out started her car, but couldn't start it. I told her what's the hold up I need my spot. She told me she can't start it and sorry that she was using the restroom. I am like, "you got to be $hitting me right?" My husband had to help her put it in neutral and park it. She asked my husband what can she do. He told her he didn't care just to get out our spot. all of sudden she told him if he can help her push the car to her mom's spot, which was empty. My husband was angry he sent an email to the company with photos of everyone who parked in our spot. We had enough of this especially since they share parking amongst each other. Then one got offended called on us for having a dog. The management told them we have had a service animal, so they complained about us for weeks. everyone here has a dog and cats. No one here picks after their cats. Sixth issues, my car got a broken windshield one night and once in a while my car has scratches, so we asked for cameras to be installed. Recently, on the night of July 15 we came home, someone parked in our spot again by a new group of drunks, we waited for them to move, we parked and left our car. In the morning of July 16, we came out to our car with a broken taillight and two damaged panels. We asked around to find out who did it knowingly they would not say a word. We filed a report. We requested several times for cameras to be installed primarily in the parking lot to avoid incidents like this and the company said no. Now I have $1000 bill for repairs and I am not done paying the car off. No one wants to be responsible. Seventh issue, one of the older men who has issues with us putting cameras inside our windows facing outside due to packages going missing, not arriving, and someone stealing from me on a separate occasion. So I invested in cameras, for us and that's it. Everyone here has cameras here and we don't complain. The moment we do it, it became a problem? Everywhere we go now has cameras. Stores? Houses, apartments, cars, etc. all you hear is them crying about cameras. 8th issue, kids here broke our patio fence and the company won't fix it. So many things wrong with this complex and the management team. Now we are getting threats from the neighbors. We have 2 kids in this apartment what will it take for this company to listen! I wanted to share my families experience and express concern with a fire that damaged our property in our garage, most importantly our vehicle & how unprofessional & unsympathetic JLE has been. I have been a tenant here at Trident since 2019, and have had no complaints with the previous company who managed our building until now. This experience has been pretty traumatic for my kids but also has now shed light into some things that have been neglected in the property. I'm sure this experience has been very overwhelming to the other tenants on 927, for the past month we have to deal with living nearly like animals in this heat with no electricity for nearly a day, no water for nearly two, no gas for about 4-5 days, and no hot water for 13 days caused by someone else's actions. During this time my spouse & I had to miss work due to our living situation for and also due to his vehicle being completely burnt in our garage that was next to where the fire occurred. The incident in our garage has caused some concern of negligence due to the way both garages seemed shared although separated on the outside but had no dry wall in between both garages. We are thankful that no one was hurt in the property but can't help but feel overwhelmed over losing our vehicle. This incident occurred 3 weeks ago and we have not heard from the property unless we are the ones asking questions and calling them. No letter has been sent with how to proceed or action to take about paying our rent after some of us tenants were unable to live in those conditions despite how many times we ask & emails ignored. This now also leads me to a second incident of negligence that occurred in my home the day gas was brought back by whom ever was repairing, only finding that our wall heater had been left on for 3 DAYS by this individual who accessed our home on Wednesday 07/19 and failed to notify us that it had been turned on or left on for whatever reason. I want to take a minute and really express how horrifying this experience has been for our family and how this second incident could have been worse (carbon monoxide poisoning, heat could have caused another fire due to worker neglecting and not notifying us that it was on) I was only made aware that it had been left on because I placed something above my wall heater and felt the heat and noise coming from it to find that it was on. The very least they could do is work on communicating with tenants & avoid ignoring them. read more

First off i want to say that i had a pleasure meeting Javier who showed us the apartment we were interested in at esquire pines. He was really sweet,along with his wife. Very helpful and i could tell hes a wonderful property manager.i had to say this first because he should be recognized for his great customer service. Although he was great and this review has nothing to do with him. I would give this zero stars if possible. This is a negative review & i do not write these kind of reviews. First off we apparently at the time were the first ones to apply for this apartment. Me & my husband and i and a co signer as a back up. We were fully qualified to be approved for this apartment. Even had a co-signer to be safe. We were contacted fairly quickly and was informed all we needed was my current landlord to call back JLE property as a reference then silence happened a week went by i left a voice mail, no one called me back. Called the next day & i was told the owner wanted to "accept for applicants" for this 1 vacant 2 bed 1 bath. Like are you serious???? They ran all THREE of our credits. That's 40$ each application.that's 120$ for them to just keep looking. Why even run our co-signer to just still pass on us? JLE is by far the WORST property management company I have ever delt with. Our faucet went out in July and it didn't get fixed until November. When I told them I emailed them 3 times they said "oh those email addresses don't work anymore, we got new ones" like it was my fault I didn't know that. Our washing machine broke and they said it would be fixed within the week, it went on for about 2 months without being fixed and still wasn't fixed when we moved out. We left our appartment looking nicer than when we got it and they took half our deposit for bullshit fees because they suck. Called the company set up an appointment to view the property. Viewed the property had the application and supporting documents at the viewing. Person showing couldn't accept documents so drove to the Anaheim office and turned in documents. Says 48-72 hours it was 72+ hours before I heard back from anyone and I was the one calling them. Spoke with Destiny who said that processing my application probably wasn't in my best interest. Credit score not 600 and said income wasn't within range. Income is 1924 weekly. I thought about it and decided I'd still like to be considered called back was told that they would process my application but had other showings. They went with another application. Then got a call on Thursday that the other applicate fell through. I explain that I was leaving for vacation but would rather like the apartment. I have a friend that could bring the security deposit until I'm back in town. Destiny said that she would need to told you her boss and give me a call Monday. I called Monday no answer. I called today and destiny said they didn't hear from me yesterday so they put it back on the market. I didn't get a call from them yesterday which would have been the appropriate things to do. I was very interested in the place but now with how it all turned out blessing in disguise. All of this over a months time frame. read more

If it were possible to leave 0 Stars I would. We currently live on a property that they recently acquired as a management company. They've spent over a month getting the apartment ready below us downstairs. They've had people coming in at 9:30pm and stay until 11:45 at night doing work, using power tools, and being generally disrespectful and unprofessional. We've gone down stairs and asked them to leave or to keep it down they've told us to screw off and that we aren't their problem and they don't care about us. I have a baby that needs his sleep. We call the management company and never hear back from them when we leave messages, and they continuously fill up our dumpster so that we can't put our trash in it and park in our spot so that there's nowhere when we get home. Someone who drives a convertible white Mercedes pulls up no matter what time of the day or night blasting music and honking his horn completely disrespecting the fact that this is a residential neighborhood and the people pay rent and live here. Completely unprofessional and the crews that come and go do so at all hours of the night and tell us to "f" ourselves and work even louder than they were before. Please please please don't ever use them or all your tenants will leave. UPDATE: They hardly ever answer their phones and they do not return messages. We were also promised that our rent would not increase yet every single person has received a notice that their rent is going up by at least $75. It's ironic that many people have posted that they discriminate against "brown" people since whenever we or our maintenance guy has called the office they answer in Spanish and pretend they don't understand English.
