I don't want to believe it was because we're Black, but the experience certainly left us wondering. We were excited to buy Kennewick Harley-Davidson T-shirts as souvenirs, but that didn't happen. The shirts on the sales floor were disappointing--the necks were stretched out, and the quality was noticeably lower than what we've seen at other Harley dealerships. We did find newer merchandise by the register, but we were told it couldn't be sold because the employee responsible for that department wasn't working that day. It was frustrating to hear that no one else could sell us a few T-shirts. Good customer service is about finding solutions, not excuses. Maybe if we had been shopping for a brand-new Harley--or looked like the "right" customers--we would have left Kennewick with the shirts we wanted. Instead, we left empty-handed and disappointed. I'll survive without the shirts, but the poor customer service is what I'll remember most about this dealership. Whatever the reason, it was an experience that fell far below what I've come to expect from Harley-Davidson dealerships.

Recently, disaster. Recalls had service departments flooded, and therefore months out for just a service. I just hit the phone book working my way outwards from my location. When I called Mercedes-Benz of Tri-Cities, I got a completely different response. "Yes, we can get you in for service!" They essentially have a specific workforce set aside for regularly scheduled maintenance, which allowed me to get into this small scale dealership with only one lift that can handle my rig the next day. On top of that Tyler Richter did everything he could to help me out. He even worked very hard for me to get a warranty issue fixed at their location. In my opinion Mercedes failed to fulfill their coverage promises on a mileage technicality when the failure happened well before the allotted mileage and was documented at another location. Instead of leaving me with a broken item or paying out of pocket, MB of Tri-Cities took care of me. Learn my lesson and get warranty issues fixed before the warranty runs out, they can't do that for everyone! It wasn't a particularly expensive fix for a Mercedes, but in my opinion what's a small loss in the name of potential lifetime brand loyalty? Put simply, MB of Tri-Cities was there for me when I needed them. They treated me like a local who would come back over and over again, and they saved me $ when it wasn't anywhere near their responsibility. Not impressed and feel like Mercedes-Benz dealership has been a scam. I came in originally because I knew one of my air struts was going out or had a leak on the left side, which I expected was the front left. After doing a water spray test on all 4 sides, they said 1 out of the 4 had a leak (back right), which was the OEM model, and the other ones were aftermarket, which were doing "good," says the service department. $1,400 also discovered a leak from my power steering reservoir, another $2-300 part online (I could see where the problem was wasn't an issue, decided I could do that myself). I approved the one air strut fix also. While fixing that, they discovered another problem which was over $5,000 fix (power steering rack and pinion $6-800 part OEM, by the way, not counting labor). When I came to pick up my vehicle after the diagnostic, I noticed scratch marks on my vehicle and parts of my protective trim missing from my windows, guessing power washed too close or hand washed too hard, and when I discussed this, they told me someone would be in touch. I never received a phone call. I waited originally to see if I could put that part in myself but didn't have the time working 6 days a week, decided to let them go ahead with proceeding. After 4 days, I didn't hear anything back about the part coming in, so I gave a phone call in, and it seems like they haven't even ordered the part after 4-5 days, so I drop my vehicle off to get the repair and also ask about the damage on my vehicle and proceed to tell me that sometimes those things can happen with the protective trim parts but with no resolution to what they could do to make anything right. Now I got my vehicle back. A day later, I noticed my car running a little off but didn't think much of it because it's just been fixed, right ? Haven't been driving it around town much, just here and there to work, and then I notice it's getting worse and get out my car to find my car still leaning hard on the left side. I bring it back in less than a week being out of the service shop and find that the front left air strut is leaking, which is what I originally thought it would be, so they send me out another quote of over $ 5,500 to fix the remaining three so the issue doesn't happen again. Overall, I have not been getting what I thought would be top-line service taking it into the Mercedes dealership compared to other shops around town. I don't recommend anyone taking their vehicle into this dealership based on my experience now. After further review, I didn't have to replace my whole back right strut; it's a separate component and only needed to replace the bag. The only time you have to replace the bag and strut is when it's in the front of the vehicle. Real scam artists that are used to taking people's money. Don't ever take your vehicle into the Mercedes dealership in Tri-Cities, Washington, and still, after a month, no resolution to the damages that were done to my car. As a customer, it seems to me like they don't really care.

Charged me $425 for parts, labor and service call. A week later it started failing again. Went to his website to see if he would come back out and stand by his work from the first visit, which obviously didn't correct the issue and received back a quote for roughly $1200 to install a new water heater. In my mind he should have stood by his work from the first visit and returned at no charge and tried to fix what he didn't on his first visit. It just appeared to be a money grab. He doesn't appear to stand behind his work. We feel we were ripped off for $425. Won't use him again.

I took my business to city V Twin where I met Tyson the owner and his crew and I asked about a big bore kit. Tyson was very knowledgeable and walked me through the kit with high-quality parts gave me a quote and some things may change up and down as they did as he fit me into his schedule as urgently as he could. I was patient for him to finish the project as the project got to near the end. Tyson kept me posted throughout the whole process, ensuring that the parts I purchased got installed in the Bike in a professional manner and in the timely fashion now my 21 Road King is perfect for me and I will take my business nowhere else but city V Twin for the rest of my life as long as Tyson is the owner once again, thank you so very much Tyson and your crew ,very professional !! Wanted me to schedule for a diagnosis to see why they did not know how to program a Harley key fob for my Harley. Go figure. I took the bike with two new HD key fobs to City V-Twin Service. When my dad came in with me, they pretended that it was a miscalculation. I don't get why they see me as a young woman would think I don't know how much service usually cost. The service manger Dan Gonzales implied it was some other place's fault (really!?!?). They also said that I needed a new battery during the service. I had an 80 month battery that was installed one year ago. I stupidly told them to go ahead with it. The new battery cost $500! They didn't give me the old battery back until I asked them for it. I had it tested and is fine! Also, due to the way I was treated I will NEVER be doing business with them again. Buyer beware!
