    My new bike
    Mike S.

I was referred to Ridenow by another customer that purchased a bike from them. I went in and talked to Lee about what I was looking for. He reached out anytime a bike came in that would interest me. They go out of their way to help you get the bike you want so you don't have to search. I just bought a Yamaha Stryker from them and it is awesome. My sales person Demetrius was beyond helpful on walking me through the bike and its features, and got me set up with service for scheduling as needed, and parts to show all the amazing upgrades available. Also big shout out to Jena in finance. We negotiated and she got me out the door quickly at an amazing price. Thank you RideNow for a great experience. I recommend RideNow to anyone looking for a bike. Best prices in Oregon and Washington. Believe me I did the research.

    Trouble lights

So bad. My wife has a 2010 CanAm Spyder. As far as I know, RideNow (located in Rattlesnake Harley Davidson in Kennewick) is the only place in the area to have a Spyder serviced. I bought a replacement rear tire. Unlike other tires they sell, they won't just put the tire on a Spyder as a part of the cost of the tire. They charged me $194.49 for the tire, and then another $495.00 to install it. Yes, you read that right. While they were at it, I thought I'd go ahead and get the oil changed, and I also asked them to check the battery, since it had been having starting problems. They sold me their "silver service", which cost me $219.41. They said the battery was fine. Oh, and they charged me AGAIN for the tire. I had to get that refunded. Oh yes, and the trunk stopped latching just before I brought it in, so I asked them to diagnose that. They said the latch needed to be replaced, and wanted to charge me a full hour's shop fee (something like $160) for the diagnosis, in addition to the cost of a replacement latch and another half-hour shop fee for installation. I told them not to bother, I'd take care of it myself. Unhappily, I hopped on the Spyder and pushed the start button. Didn't start the first time I pressed, but it did on the second. Ok. I rode it a few miles to work (I picked it up on my lunch break). A few hours later, I hopped on and pressed that button again. Did not start. Quite put out at this point, I located a jump starter and started it. I then waited a little bit to see if it would quit. Console trouble lights started going crazy and, sure enough, it quit. I made a video of all of this so I could engage in calm, reasonable discussion with the RideNow rep, and get things straightened out, once I got back there somehow. Fortunately, some friends of mine with an auto shop were near, and the next day they helped me push it into their shop. They discovered that the battery holds a charge, but it will not charge when running. Something about a magneto. I contacted RideNow again, telling them about this. They refused to take responsibility for missing it in their "silver service" inspection and offered to set up ANOTHER appointment. As they seem to be the only option, I am now waiting for them to get back to me about that. I know they'll charge another arm and leg. I find it difficult to put into G-rated words how much I hate dealing with RideNow. They are horrible. Stay away if you can.

They might be a big dealership but they make the buying process very difficult. The bait and switch tactic runs strong at this dealership.

I asked them to give it a tune up, check for anything that might be wrong with it and told them it was throwing a code that I wanted addressed. They said that the code was an old one and cleared it, that it didn't need the crankshaft sensor replaced but that the plugs were fouled up so they installed new ones. I also had them replace the old oil and filter. They said that was the only things that it needed. When I got home I rolled it first ride out and was advised not to run it again until the plugs were checked because it was upside down. Upon taking it apart to check them, it appeared that the plugs were not new at all, nor were they the same brand. I showed them to my brother who's very astute about power sport products and he said that they were not new. He called the service department on my behalf. After a lengthy conversation with the manager it was made known that the technician only changed one of the plugs. They charged me for 2, and billed me for the labor for installing 2. He said that wasn't ok and they needed to refund me 1/2 the labor and cost of the missing part. He was told that I could come pick up a new plug for the one that I was charged for but they weren't going to compensate me for the labor. He asked to be put in touch with their district manager but instead the owner gave him a call... The owner said that they would not be giving me any compensation and that I could come pick up a plug. He yelled and swore at my brother and claimed that it was all an accident, that I was told that it was only going to be the one from the start. That WE were trying to get one over on THEM and it's not their fault... even though I WAS told that they were going to do both and got charged for both. The woman who I spoke with was very clear about it and I even asked her about how to avoid that situation in the future... Their shop is over an hour away from my house. The cost of the fuel wouldn't justify the drive vs the cost of the part. Moreover, I had expressly stated that it was a new purchase, that I wanted to get anything done that needed to be done and replace anything else that needed fixing. When we took it apart at our own shop not only was the job that I got charged for not done, the clutch/belt casing was broken with a huge hole in it, the seat release leavers were broken and the air filter was filthy. I would have gladly had all that fixed but they didn't tell me that those things needed to be addressed. If we had wanted to do the work ourselves we would have but we wanted it serviced by a certified Arctic Cat mechanic. Unfortunately we are doing the work ourselves and still got charged. Bottom line: they did shotty work, the owner was highly unprofessional and rude, sub quality/overpriced products and their "compensation" was a joke. Don't do business with this company . They will surely try to fleece you.
