Came on a Friday around 10AM. Told the guy we wanted package number 2 which is priced at $35. He told us it was going to be a long wait maybe 2 hours. We didn't mind, we were going to go to Trader Joe's. He then opened our car door, saw dog hair and said to come back at 2PM. We come back at 2 PM and we requested package number 2 priced at $35 to the same man. He tells us to choose between the $35 package, which includes vacuuming, or to do more detailing to get rid of the dog hair for $70. We say we just want the vacuuming. Then he says he can't give us the car half clean so he has to charge us the $70. Of course we are skeptical of this, and then he tells us, he doesn't have space for us that day. I reminded him that he told us to come back at 2. He says he told us to check back at 2 and to come back the next day and he'll give us a discount. What a waste of a day. I've been here before. They've done the $35 package and also charged me a little extra for dog hair. Mind you, never $70. Their pricing has never been consistent whenever they see dog hair. And honestly, having someone else clean your car is nice, but you can go to any of the self service car washes and get the same results for way less. You'll just have to vacuum. I recommend Highland Park Car Wash. They have this little nozzle that gets dog hair out. You can also get unlimited platinum washes for $40 a month. JN Car Wash is so inconsistent in its pricing. I never know how much I'm going to pay. That may be because of the dog hair. That's fine. But wasting my time, unacceptable. There are no good hand car washes in Eagle Rock right now. TL;DR: They overcharged me, broke my usb ports, forgot to put a piece of my car back, left garbage in the trunk, gaslit me, and then called me a "fat b*****" but you can read the full saga below. I brought my car in for a full detailing (#6 package, their most expensive). Everything was a bit haphazard from the beginning -- I called and emailed the day before to see if I had to make an appointment, but no one answered and there was no voicemail setup, so I took my chances and arrived first thing Friday morning. Communication was challenging when discussing pricing and packages, due primarily to a language barrier (and that's on me -- it's the east side of LA and I have no excuse not to speak Spanish!). I decided to get the most expensive package -- it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself -- but the pricing still didn't make sense. The package cost $195 with a $5 upcharge for station wagons. They charged me $205 and it wasn't clear to me why, but I decided not to squabble over $5. I was told it should take about 4 hours, and they'd call me if it was ready early. I hadn't heard back so I just showed up 4.5 hours later, paid and left in my car. Immediately upon exiting, I went to charge my phone and discovered neither of the two USB ports were working, as they had been consistently for four years and that very morning when I dropped off the vehicle. I turned around to discuss this with the car wash staff. They shuffled me between 3-4 different staff before telling me I had to come back in an hour when the boss was back from lunch. An hour later, I came back, now my 4th time at this place for the day. The manager I spoke to was very unprofessional. He aggressively denied any responsibility. I explained how frustrating this experience had been with the lack of communication and overcharging. He latched onto that and tried to convince me that $205 was actually a discount because they have to charge $15 for a basic wash in order to detail it, even though that is not written anywhere on their signage nor was it explained to me upon purchasing the package. He spoke over me and policed my tone -- something I'm sure does not happen to male clientele. Eventually he said I could go to the Subaru dealership and have it assessed, but didn't commit to covering the cost of the repair. Instead of offering a solution or apologizing, he escalated things to a nasty argument. I left in frustration with no solution and no contact information. Upon arriving home, I went to put some things back into my trunk that I'd removed in advance of the detailing, only to discover they hadn't put back the lining of my trunk and had left a wet, dirty rag sitting on my spare tire. I then had to go back to the car wash for the fifth time. Before I could even ask for the missing piece of my trunk, the manager came out and started screaming expletives at me. He then, unprompted, said, "You're fat." I responded in shock, "Excuse me?" to which he continued, "Get the f*** out of here you fat b*****." Luckily I have a friend who is a mechanic and can repair this for me at cost for $200. What should have been a $200 treat for myself has now cost me $405, I can't use my Carplay for a week, I spent an entire day driving in circles and wasting gas due to their incompetence, and was left with a damaged vehicle and insult to my body that left me sobbing for an hour. read more

TLDR: Went in for Package #6 paying extra for an SUV. Overall, Gabriel who greeted me was so friendly and I could tell the manager/owner? wants his team to do a great job, but I wouldn't go to them again. This was a fairly good wash and wax, but I paid for a complete detailing job, and they missed the details. Some of those details, like the soggy carpet, were pretty important. I paid $250 so I wouldn't have to do any cleaning myself and ended doing a lot of cleaning I shouldn't have had to do at all. UPDATE: Carpet still smells bad a week later - and carpet wasn't dirty when I brought it in - it was completely protected by car mats. My car is worse than when I brought it in - I don't know how to fix the smelly carpet. One thing I do know - I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Full review: I park under a tree so I purchased the full detailing. I walked around showing them everything wrong with it - the leaves/pine needles in the lift back, the roof, the hood. I point out how weathered the trim looks and ask them if they can bring that back. Gabriel, the super nice guy who wrote my ticket, assured me everything would be handled and it would take about 4 hours. After 3.5 hours I go pick up my car. As the guys are finishing up, the manager directs me to go pay - $220 + $30 tip. When I return, he is pointing out things he wants fixed. I can tell he wants things right - though most of the guys now have their backpacks on and seem eager to leave. As I wipe my hand across the paint I can tell it's waxed, but also still a bit bumpy on the hood. It's not the finish I expect but it's shiny. My last detailing was at Eco Auto Care which included a clay bar (which got rid of the bumpies) as well as a polish, wax and sealant - so I was expecting something similar but sadly not the same. I chose JN because they were close so I could go home during the detail, vs ECO where I would have had to wait there. I drive away and my hood partially pops up while I'm driving. I pull over and push it back down to latch it. When I get home I see that the pine needles and leaves are still under the hood - which I clean up myself. I also notice the interior doesn't smell good and chalk it up to the cleaning solutions. The next morning I notice the bumper panel on my door missed the Armor All wipe down. I return to JN and see there's a line. The manager sees me and pulls me out of line to be taken care of first. I show them the center panel and ask them to just wipe that area as it seems to have been missed. The manager says, you mean, wipe it again. I just agree because I don't know for sure it wasn't wiped the first time, but I point out how different this panel looks from the panels just next to it. The guys are super nice and fix it fast and now the panels are the same finish. Later I get in and I notice the smell again. I realize the smell is kind of like wet carpet, and I think, oh my god is my carpet wet? I pull up the floor mats and they are wet and the carpet is wet not just damp. It's 5pm and JN is closed. It's been about 24 hours that the cleaning solution has been marinating in my carpet. The smell is getting worse. I get some paper towels to absorb the excess water but as I blot the paper towel on the carpet, a white soapy pattern appears - the carpet is full of soapy solution. Luckily, I have a Bissell Pro Carpet Cleaner. I start sucking up as much solution as I can but the foam stays put. I then fill the reservoir with hot water to dilute the soap and vacuum it up. I spent about 45 minutes diluting and sucking up the soapy water, then more blotting. My car still smells but less so. I leave the windows open, pray no one steals it, and hope for the circulating air to get rid of the smell. This is the only time in my life my car has smelled worse after a cleaning. While I'm cleaning that up I notice the roof still has leaves and debris and part of the roof was untouched; the roof cargo container is still unlatched even though Gabriel told them to make sure it was closed. I decide to go around the car and really look at what else was missed - some leaves/debris left in the hinge area of the lift back; the handle on the back door and the entire roof rack missed the Armor All wipe; uneven application of interior Armor All - streaks and missed spots; a dirt line where the windows met the frame - so they weren't rolled down and cleaned; and just general streaks/leftover wax. I should have done this inspection then, right there at the time but everyone was packed up to go. These guys rushed through the "detail" to leave for the night. After $150 paid for a detail job, These guys left the carpets of the car soaking wet and full of soap. Then the car sat for 2 days and started to smell like something had died in there. I called and "George" said to bring it in and they would make it right. Great! Amazing but when I took it at the time he told me they said nobody named George worked there and they couldn't accommodate me that day. So frustrating Now when I call from my phone they do not answer but if I call from another phone they pick right up. We just left and had a terrible experience! The man with the glasses in a blue shirt turned us down because we wanted regular vacuum instead of the dog hair vacuum. He was asking us what service we want and welcomed us in initially. I'm not sure if turning down his recommendation for the dog hair vacuum made him start with all these excuses. First it was a 2 hour wait and we were willing to wait! Then it was 2 1/2 hour wait, then he had no room..then he said we had to come back.. He said his business is to make money, so why discourage us? This man sucks! He kept insisting on the dog hair vacuum! Our car hasn't been washed in a while and we just wanted it washed! We said, we'll vacuum the dog hairs ourselves and we'll wait 2 hours! My boyfriend decided to just leave since we were getting so much push back but the man with the glasses said no we should stay and then proceeds to discourage us from the service we want! High level of attention here. Every floor mat was removed to be thoroughly vacuumed. They use air guns to get the dust out of every crevice & blast all of the water off of your car. Today they completely refused to clean my car unless I paid more than double the price because they said my car has too much dog hair. This is the only car wash I go to when I want the job done right. Not a piece of dust or dog hair in sight. Yes, it takes about an hour but they take their time. I rather have that than pay the same amount for a 25 minute car wash. I also had some scratches taken off the side of my car which was also convenient. 10/10!!!! read more

Wow I should have read the reviews before coming to this place. I had been here before but the guy in charge or owner who knows, always gave me a bad vibe, nothing but attitude and always always charges more than what's posted on the signs so if you say you want the $35 he'll charge $45 because he has his "reasons" and today topped it off and I'm never coming back here again! Aside from charging me more than what I asked for because my car needed god knows what according to him, as they where putting back the things in my trunk one of the workers dropped my Tesla door sills that I hadn't installed yet worth $150 plus and when I showed the guy in charge he said they weren't ruined and when they are clearly dented in. We both saw them fall from the workers arms. I went to the office to tell him and he rushed me out so the other customers wouldn't hear and then proceeded to tell me that they weren't ruined that the next time I come in, lol like I ever will, he would install them for me, like I want dented ones installed, and then he started YELLING at me saying that they gave me a detail job that my car was really dirty trying to convince me that they hooked me up but what did that have to do with his worker ruining my door sills?! Nothing! The work they did wasn't worth $150 plus! and then he just told me next time I come he'll install them or he'll pay for them and turned around. Why not pay for them now! Very thorough. In my neighborhood. There is a place I like that is a little cheaper than this, but it's further from my house. I got the package 2 and I think it took them about 20-25 min - extremely detailed even for my lowest tier option. They take credit cards - you might be able to add a tip on there but I preferred to tip in cash. Nice team with everyone working on their job in the process. Everyone was masked up. The payment station was also set up in the doorway of their usual lobby so you don't have to go inside; plenty of outdoor seats including under umbrellas and distanced set up. I'm extremely COVID cautious and felt safe in this environment. Across from the Trader Joe's so maybe one person can go shopping and the other can get the car detailed in your fam! Usually you guys do some amazing work. This pst Saturday it was pretty slammed. I paid for the $75 #9 with the $10 markup for small suv, and my girl paid for the standard $35 with the $10 markup for SUV. My vehicle looks pretty great. It was super dirty and I was pleased with the work. I wasn't raving about it like I normally do when I leave your establishment, but it looked good... my girl's car however... it looks like they forgot to do the passenger side of the vehicle both dusting and vacuuming... we dusted off the dash, but she just noticed the passenger side floors looking dirty still... could we bring it by for a touch up? read more

The price is not cheap (the basic wash is around $35), but they certainly earn every dollar with the thoroughness of the wash -- very thorough exterior wash (including rims and tires); full cleaning of the interior including mats and trunk; and careful drying to make sure everything is spotless as you drive away. The battery ended up being completely shot. So now I paid 150 for a detail that completely drained my battery and now I have to pay 250 for a battery out of pocket that they destroyed. When I went up to talk to them about getting a refund I first asked for the receipt and the manager immediately kicked me off the property and threatened to call the cops. While I like having a clean car I've had bad experiences with car washes. I was living in Eagle Rock temporarily and JN was down the street so I decided to give them a try. The owner is very friendly. Their prices are reasonable. $25 for a basic wash. If they are really busy they will let you know that it your wait time could be a few hours. They do a good job of cleaning your car and pay attention to detail. What I appreciate most is how honest the employees are here. This is the first car wash where the employees didn't go through my console looking for something to take. When they find loose change they leave it for me on the console. Even though I no longer live up the street from them I still come here to get my car wash, and if I have to wait I take a walk thought the neighborhood or grab a bite to eat somewhere nearby. read more

Three stars because I've been taking my cars here for a while and normally they do an ok job (though there have been small issues in the past). Today I left after getting the wash and drove to Glendale. I noticed when I parked that they had given me someone else's floor mat. It didn't fit my car at all and said "Civic" (I have a Ford). So I called them immediately that I was coming back to return it because I didn't want someone to lose their mat. In this process I also noticed the back cargo area had not been cleaned AT ALL. It was exactly as dirty as it was when I brought it to them- including dog drool that was there after I took my pup to the vet yesterday. There were other dirty spots too, on the hood, windshield and the center console. When I returned, gave them the mat (luckily the civic was still there!) and pointed out the back hadn't been cleaned. They insisted it had and I would have to pay $45 extra if I wanted it cleaned better. Extremely disappointing that not only did I have to take an extra 30 min out of my day to correct their mistake, I will also have to vacuum and clean the my car again because they did such a bad job. read more

Terrible experience. Was trying to find a new place closer to my house for a good car wash. Saw the great reviews and wanted to try JN out. Unfortunately didn't even get past the drive way. The manager came up to ask what package I wanted. I said package 1 and he said "oh that's not available only package 2" so I looked and saw the price difference and said ooooh ok so only number two and then he responded with "yes and it's 2 hours now" and then he walked away? Didn't even let me answer or say what to do next just simply said it's number 2 and 2 hours so go away? I was so confused? Like I don't know but maybe he didn't want my business? WORST SERVICE EVER. Don't waste your time. We just called for detailing information, and the man that answered the phone was so rude. My husband asked for price (he is always very nice), and the man sounded angry, gave the price for a carwash, and hung up. We called back, the same man answered, even more annoyed). My husband told him that he would the price for a detail, and he said we had to bring the car in, and hung up. If this wasn't the owner, I wish they could hear this call, and see how the company is represented. We'd rather drive farther and pay more for good service.
