I waited to see anyone for about 5 minutes, before I went in to the office and no one was there. I saw in the garage that it was empty. I returned to my car to look for an available appointment online, since it is such a tiny crack, it should be a quick fix, right? A tall man came out and asked what I needed, I said I was looking for an appointment for a tiny crack to be fixed. He said they didn't have any appointments available (even though they closed 40 minutes later), and didn't ask to see what it looked like. Just "too busy," with their empty garage. I think they just wanted to leave early. I don't recommend this location. I had much better luck & customer service in Beverly, and it only took 10 minutes to fix. Also, I called Safelite 4 times before being able to be connected to a centralized call center person, who then tried to connect me to this location 3 times herself. They have no receptionists at any locations, and Safelite should make it possible to contact local locations through one of their phone options.

I'm unable to take too much time out of work so they drove to my job and fixed it in the parking lot. They did this back in Oct of last year and the reason I'm posting this review now is because I wanted to give my windshield some time under the elements before I gave my final thoughts. Also for reference I have the sensor thing in the front you can see in the busted photo that dark square. They didn't recalibrate it, they only replaced the windshield so that should show in itself how gentle and efficient they were. I haven't had issues at all with my sensors. The windshield itself is still in great condition and KNOCK ON WOOD no chips or damage. I've gone through car washes, being buried in the snow and the heavy rain we've had the past month. The quality of that windshield I would say is 10/10. I would recommend these guys for your window needs!!

I went in, and there was no one in the office. As I was leaving, a man came out at approximately 4:25pm and said they were too busy to even look at my car. They didn't look busy, at all, there were no cars in the bay. I saw online that the Beverly location had an appointment at 4:30, so I rushed there and the guys at the Beverly location were more than helpful, even though I was a few minutes late due to being at the Peabody location. They were ready to take it in, easy going, friendly and super helpful. I should have come here first. They said it was no big deal, and took 10 minutes to fix the very tiny crack in my windshield. They made the process very easy. The difference in customer service at the Peabody & Beverly locations is astonishing. If you need any windshield repair in the North Shore, Beverly is far superior to the Peabody location with assistance, customer service, and you'll be in and out in no time! I will add, that it's impossible to get through to ANY Safelite location through their phones with the new AI system. I was able to connect after 4 attempts to a centralized call center, but Safelite as a whole should make it possible for local customers to contact their local locations. I was informed Safelite fired all of their local customer service reps since bringing in the AI phone systems (that aren't helpful), so you're better off going to the location to speak to someone.

There was supposed to be a second…read moresnow on Sunday, Feb 1st, so I was a bit worried, but they contacted me literally a dozen times betwen when I scheduled the appointment and Tuesday morning where my appointment was from 8am - 12pm, and I asked about snow and all they ever said was they needed room around the car. Finally at a few minutes before 11 am, the driver called me from a personal cell phone so I almost didn't answer it, and said there's snow on my driveway and because they use sharp tools, etc, he said he wasn't sure he could do the job, but that he would call his manager. He called back five minutes later and said he was going to have his manager call me. After ten minutes, I called the driver back and he said, the manager would call me shortly but he already left for his next job. Epic Fail. I will never use Safelite again and I will use the rest of my life to spreading this story over the internet. I don't have time for this. I will make sure my insurance company knows how I feel about this as well as anyone else that will listen to me.

I had a serious crack across my windshield for months started leaking water, and developed a sick wind noise when on the highway. So I called my good friend Steve Corcoran (Done Right Auto Glass) to do a yet another windshield for me on a different vehicle of mine. This guy not only replaced my windshield in 24 hrs, there was underlying rust channels he repaired, he refinished my rusty wiper arms, gave me new wiper blades and put my truck threw a quick detail including rain-xed my new windshield!
