He quickly diagnosed our water pressure issue--our main valve was sitting at a dangerous 100 PSI--and installed a new 1-inch Zurn Wilkins regulator (our old one was 24 years old!). He also performed a hydro-jetting service on our main line to clear out all the debris. Giovanni was polite, professional, upfront with pricing, and worked incredibly efficiently. I also really appreciate the client portal they supply--it made it super easy to view my paid invoices and will be great for keeping track of any future estimates all in one place. The person who I made the appointment with was not very urgent when I said my toilet was actively leaking... it also sounded like she was having a conversation with someone else and was laughing... it was Friday morning (I put in the request Thursday with my warranty company) and she said the first available was Tuesday... when I mentioned again that my toilet was ACTIVELY leaking, she checked again and magically a Monday morning appointment time opened... but that was still days away with water running out of my toilet... I turned off the water myself and just hoped it would be okay until Monday. However, the person on my dispatch call this morning (I wish I remembered her name) was very kind and able to give me an eta of where I was in line so I could plan a little better for my morning. She was professional and attentive. She gets a 9/10. Then, the tech Keith came and was very kind and professional. He came in. Took a picture of the area, got straight to work in identifying the issue from the information I gave him. It ended up being a simple issue of tightening the bolts on the toilet down, however, we're in the middle of selling our home and didn't want to take any chances on a bigger plumbing issue. He left the area as clean as when he got there and checked the toilet a few times to make sure that was the only issue before leaving. He gets 10/10 for service. Before leaving he said if something else happens, I have 30 days per company policy for them to come back if they missed anything. We used our warranty service, First American, so we didn't have a chance to use anyone else. But I did have a good experience once past the original booking person. They really need to give her a lesson on professionalism on the phone. Why was she having a conversation and laughing while I was trying to make an appointment? Tech went as scheduled and told me he did a quick check at the unit and then to the electrical panel. And said now if he needs to go into diagnosis, it will cost $175 , and either he can fix it OR that $175 will be used to swap a new unit at $4xx. Since I'm remote, I can only agree to it to move forward. 10mins later, got a call from the tech saying, "there are good and bad news! Good news, the unit was indeed completely fine and it's working alright. The unit was slightly "UNPLUGGED" from the outlet and it works perfectly after I plugged it back in. Bad news, the $175 is due. " I appreciate that the "diagnosis" save me hundreds instead of replacing a fully working unit, but I would have thought the first free initial check should have looked at the connection in the first place. Definitely feel a bit rip off BUT they did give me a small discount in the end. I'm not expecting free work BUT $150 to get someone out to plug it back in? Is that the norm?

He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer.
