Echarpe made from supplies at Joann

I love the diversity of supplies , the colors and everything was easy to find. Joann needs to stay in our community because we cannot get the supplies other places.

4/4/2016- Last minute buy before a party. I came in here 45 minutes before closing. I could not find what I was looking for so I found an employee and explained that I was looking for. She looked at me and without saying a word just started walking so I just followed her. She pointed at what she thought I was looking for (it wasn't) and just walked away. I don't know if I happened to bother her at WORK, but I found it odd and rude!. I grabbed 2 other things that I thought would work and brought them to the cashier. A young man greeted me and was very polite. He thanked me for coming and told me to have a nice night. Maybe he should train the rest of the staff.

I like this store a lot more than the one in Margate. It feels bigger and has a better selection of fabrics. Also sales associates are nicer and doesn't feel like they're always short staffed. It is a bit far for me, but if I can't find something at the Jo-Ann closest to me, I come here. I also love the fact they take pretty much all coupons and you can use as many as you can in one order.

JoAnn's is not as big as Michaels or even the giant Hobby Lobby but it's still holding it's own. I like that it's located in the Fountains, where I often shop. If I need a quick something, I don't have to deal with the traffic to get South of 595 on University. I recently needed some white melting chocolate and it was convenient for me to pop in quickly. I also needed some ribbon to decorate my Christmas tree and was pleasantly surprised that the ribbon was 60% off. The 50 yard ribbon that was $14.99 was $6 and change... SCORE!!!

Here's an honest review , despite the pre cautious of this current pandemic . So considering the fact that the store only allows 10 people in the store at a time, people are standing outside for hours trying to get in a store with very little help which is part of the reason why the people that do make it in spending just a little under an hour looking for material or standing in a line to have materials cut to size . They do have the curbside service in place which is a big help but does nothing for the people on site that want to get in and get out and spend more time in the line than in the store . Moral of the story is .. something has to be implemented that will help speed up the process or there will continue to be some mad people

Terrible service! That Giant Amazon Caucasian in the back cutting fabric is very unprofessional, rude and classless!

After a brief hiatus in 2020 due to COVID, the event returned in 2021 in a smaller format at The Backyard before expanding to larger venues like Revolution Live and the War Memorial Auditorium. I recently attended the Indie Craft Bazaar at the historic War Memorial Auditorium, which has just undergone a multi-million-dollar renovation by the Florida Panthers. The venue--flexible enough to host concerts and large-scale events--was the perfect setting. The bazaar runs from 12-5 PM and features over 95 vendors, with free admission and parking. It's also very family-friendly. I had a great time browsing a wide variety of handmade, artisan, vintage, and locally made goods. There was everything from jewelry, live plants, and clothing to crystals, candles, bath products, accessories, stickers, crochet flowers, baked goods, and stationery. One standout for me was the upcycled concert T-shirts from Backstage Trends. They also offer fun extras like free swag bags for the first 100 guests, DIY activities, and food and drinks from The Federal. Plus, you can even go ice skating next door at the Baptist Health IcePlex. It's easy to pair the Indie Craft Bazaar with other activities in Holiday Park and make a full day of it. I'm so glad I finally got to experience this unique and vibrant market!

Umbrellas are left in heaping piles on a table out front for you to rummage through on your way out. The line to enter was wrapped around War Memorial, and rain was continuous. It appeared to be a 45-60 minute WAIT to enter. When asking about entering we were told, due to capacity limits, admission was based upon those exiting. For those who were leaving their review was, it is extremely crowded and challenging to get close to a vendors table. Several others said it was just "ok". We decided to leave the ever growing line and not wait. Recommendation to the organizers, consider holding this at the Convention Center I would happily pay parking for the convenience of actually entering the Bazaar. I wasn't the only one who left as you can imagine people who witnessed the extremely long, winding line left without ever getting close to the front of the line. Good Luck to those going today, I hope the experience is a positive one.

I haven't visited Michael's in a long time - not since my kids were in elementary school needing certain items for school projects. The store was large, clean, and well-organized. Hold up! Michael's sells helium balloons now?! Wow, this place has evolved into more than just a DIY craft store. With my stomach grumbling, I didn't feel like walking aisle by aisle looking for the spray bottle. I approached a store employee and asked where I could find small spray bottles. The employee checked two aisles, then asked another employee for assistance. I ended up finding a small 2-pack spray bottle for $4.99. The employee came with a spray bottle a bit bigger than what I found, but there was no sticker price on it. I thanked the employee for his help and took both items to checkout for a price check. A female employee provided customer service near the self-checkout. Although the 2-pack spray bottles were on sale online, Michael's does not honor online prices in-store. The employee did a price check on the bigger spray bottle, which was $3 less than the smaller ones. I made my payment on the large self-checkout screen. I didn't notice it then, but closely looking at the picture I took, the screen at self-checkout not only has a camera locked on your face, but also on the items you're scanning.

The sheer amount of items they have here is insane and I easily can spend thirty minutes or more looking around, but most of the time it is items that are going to break quickly or be forgotten on a shelf. This store has items that range from $1 to upwards of $25 dollars now! They have some cool speakers that you can fill with water to watch the water dance to items for your car that can help charge your phone while adding some flare to your dashboard! They have a huge candy section and there are some real interesting choices to pick such as freeze-dried candy and then candy that has taki seasoning on it, such as the new skittles gummies! I also like that they always have some holiday centered toys and items that can help get you in the spirit of the holiday that may be coming up! Best of all is the discount on the items once the holiday has passed! One of my favorite things about this store is the blind box items they have because they have so many different choices to pick from.
