They offered framing advice, multiple price quotes, and extensive consultations on the nature and quality of the original print. They must have put in hours of work just consulting with us in person, over the phone, AND via email. They were always thoughtful, gracious, and patient. When we got our final piece the print reproduction was beautiful, and the framing job was immaculate. We couldn't have been happier with them, and we're so glad we could support such a great local business.

I think if I had a shop like this in my area, I would probably more seriously consider taking up quilting! The shop is laid out in a pleasing way, with a good variety of fabrics and many beautiful samples of quilts hanging on the walls and also smaller samples at eye level near the fabrics. They had a bunch of books and patterns to peruse (including some regular sewing patterns for like little bags and things), and most impressively, there were banks of quilting machines that I am guessing may be used by the shop customers, including a couple of really large quilting machines! There were customers using the big machines while I was there, which was really cool. The shop ladies seemed really nice as well, and thankfully not hover-y. I will definitely try to stop by again next time I'm in Rochester! Hopefully I will have some projects in mind that I don't yet have a fabric for by then.

They are also very honest when saying something cannot be done, even if it would have been more expensive. I said no to all ?s as they did not pertain. I had put on pkg handle with care as I did not want it bent or folded. The employee loudly says to me "what is this for, I DID ask u b/4 if it was fragile and YOU said no." I felt like I was being scolded or on trial! It was disrespectful of her and I felt humiliated as there were customers at the counter. I nearly picked up the pkg and left... Please be respectful when u r in a profession of helping customers.
