He was very frank and detailed on what he was doing and why. It helped me to understand why he was administering the tests, etc. It probably was more thorough then my annual check-up. He was very concern and asked questions to help us get to my issue. It's been only a day, but I feel 75% better than when I came to see Dr. Rydlund. I can breath better, my nose isn't running every 5 minutes, and I have a better balance then a few days ago. He also gave me a lollipop for being a good sport. You always a kid when it comes to great doctors who cares about your well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Rydlund if you have an ear, nose, throat infection you need cured.

Scheduling was a breeze, after I got off the phone I went onto their website and was able to print the new patient forms so I could have them ready ahead of time as I was going on my lunch break. When I arrived the intake gal was very friendly but not overly and in a freakish way like some can be lol I had to wait maybe 6-8 minutes for the doctor to come in. She was kind and didn't rush which I appreciate it. She was happy to answer my questions and I felt happy with the end result and her diagnosis. I will absolutely continue to use them as my ENT. After seeing numerous ENTs in Austin, Houston, and Portland, having an MRI and a CT scan, and…read moreenduring a sialendoscopy--and continuing to deal with intermittent severely swollen parotid glands for more than 4 years--I cringed at the thought of seeing another ENT. But when my glands were so swollen that they impeded my bite and caused intense pain in my ears, I had no choice but to find another ENT. But I didn't see just any ENT. I saw Dr. Michael Mitchell at Vancouver ENT. He listened and examined and did something no other expert had tried: he put me on a 2-week round of antibiotics, hypothesizing that I had a low-grade infection that had persisted through the years. I returned to Dr. Mitchell's office a month after our visit, and for the first time in years, my glands were consistently soft, and the swelling had not returned. And 2 months after the first visit, I've been asymptomatic. Dr. Mitchell did what no other doctor--some being experts in the field--had done and had been able to accomplish. I highly recommend Dr. Mitchell for his medical skills, his ability to listen carefully without interruption and to think outside the box, and his sweet, kind, and caring nature. Dr. Meigs was my PCP for 18 years prior to moving to Orchards Family Medicine. The staff here was…read morerude, arrogant, and ignored any request for antidepresent medications, refused to make an appointment, slandered me to my insurance pharmacy, and told Dr. Meigs lies about me. My medical records were FAX'd to the wrong number 3 times. When I was finally able to get the staff to verify the fax number and the clinic finally received the referral, the staff called the clinic and told them I no longer wanted to be seen. It took from Aug. 10th to Nov. 29th to be seen by a much needed doctor. The clinic has constantly denied any of this. I wouldn't trust them or Dr. Meigs with the time of day. I believe there are reasons for this clinic remaining an independent clinic. They have messed up my medical records so bad that I am having trouble finding a new PCP.

My friend has prostate cancer and this doctor simply sent him a letter telling him that he won't see him anymore with no explanation. He had the further nerve to post this letter to my friends online chart, presumably to help other doctors blacklist him. The real problem? My friend wanted to see the doctor when he did not have an official appointment. Most Doctors do want to help find cures and/or help heal. This one apparently only wants patients who don't have any major problems.
