I've been here a few times now and each visit we've had something different from the elephant ear to a few different burgers to the fried sauerkraut balls there really is something that's perfect for everyone. Their burgers are a good size like they will fill you up so don't Over think that because you'll be like why did I get all that lol! Of the two that I've tried it was all about the rodeo burger that had that yummy bbq sauce and the onion rings on it with that perfectly cooked bacon to set the whole thing right. We have gotten their onion rings twice because they are seriously what's good as you can taste the beer batter in them and that crunch is just what you've been searching for when it comes to onion rings. The elephant ear was delicious and just what you'd expect it to be a big frisbee with tons of sugar and cinnamon on it to make it just that much yummier! The sauerkraut balls were unique and good for what they were but definitely not to be out done by all the other fried goodies they have here. Of the things that I've already had here I do look forward to coming back and getting a pizza since you really can't ever go wrong with a pie and I'm sure it will be just as good as everything else I've had here. As for the inside it was very clean and accommodating when we visited to where I felt safe eating inside as for the staff they have been very friendly and happy to answer any questions I might have definitely making it a positive experience each time. Overall delicious goodies and yummy food that you can get inside or at the drive through either way I'll be back here again soon as this is a awesome local business that's doing it right in more than one way!

I ordered a white pizza and spent 35.50 on the pizza and a 2 liter. I asked for extra cheese and…read moreextra garlic spread on the pizza. I also paid for extra marinara sauces. I paid extra for all of this! I got a lukewarm pizza that I had to stick in the microwave and no marinara sauce. Not one cup! I called them and they said they would bring the sauce, but at this point I don't even want it! I'm not ordering pizza from them anymore. I suggest a salad.

Wow. I figured it would be fun for the kid, and of course have interesting pop. But we walked in…read moreand were greeted with toys and candy and ice cream and games and figures and much more. And pop. Ended up with some candy and ice cream. I got the Lake Erie Cookie Monster, which had chunks of cookie dough, etc., in it and was tinted blue. Fun and refreshing. Kid K liked her vanilla. Service was great. Prices are fair. The place is cool. Free city parking across the street. Wish we had this in my town; combine Rocket Fizz and a local toy store and a small ice cream shop, and you'd get close.

Botton Line: Soda Pop's kicks major ass…read more Why? Here's why: 1. Great location: It's located on W Water Street, just WSW of Columbus avenue...it's right in heart of (resurgent) downtown Sandusky. 2. Sweets: They have a very nice selection of olde tyme candy. You'll find the likes of Abba-Zabba, Goo Goo Cluster, Chick-o-Sticks, wax mustaches/lips/fangs, etc. Obviously, they have newer brands, as well. 3. Drinks: They have a superior selection of "craft" pop, including diet Dang, the best diet pop in the world. Also, I saw Ale 8, Moxie, Cheerwine, about 75 varieties of Root beer, and a bunch more pop. 4. They have ice cream floats (can't vouch for these...yet). ...best of all... 5. The back room: It's part pop culture museum (from the 50s to the 2000s) and part flea market. Need a poster of Wonder Woman (either Lynda or Gal), John Wayne, Arnold, or Magic Johnson? Get it here. Desire to posses the Gorf cartridge or Activision Football cartridge for your Atari 2600? You're covered. Want that Fat Albert board game that you've been missing since 1973? You're in luck. There are TONS of things to check out and, if you choose, to buy. I bought a couple of books that I had as a kid and haven't seen since the 80s...("The Encyclopedia of Hostile Aliens," and "Earth's Greatest Interstellar Battles"). 6. Video Games: This is especially cool...in the back room, you'll find a MultiGame machine that's in great condition. 55 games...1 quarter per play. Come in on Friday and you'll find that it's set on "free play." Yep. I don't know about you, but the next time I'm in Sandusky, with or without the kids, drunk or sober, naked or fully clothed, I'm stopping at Soda Pop's, and ain't nobody stoppin' me! FIVE STARS!
