Multiple locals recommended this place and I was definitely worth the wait. Everything was very good and nice portions. Service was excellent and gave great recommendations.

Great go to place for the best margaritas in Texas and unique beef chimichangas! 5 stars alone for the park like ambiance. Food and service never misses!

This place is amazing. It could be the largest place I have ever been in too. We had a pretty large group getting together and though we had a private space in the middle of the restaurant that was still open to the air around us -- it both felt private and like we were taking up less than a single table in the whole place. Okay, bad description, but take it for what I am trying to say. For us, the food kept coming. I never saw a menu so I am not going to call out specific items. In general, the margaritas were great and kept flowing, the nachoes were amazing, and the main meal, well things started to get fuzzy around that point. More seriously -- come here, enjoy. It is just a short walk from the more "Nashville" part of town and it is well worth the trek.

Joe T. Garcia's is one of those places that comes with a lot of hype, but my experience didn't quite live up to it. The biggest issue is the wait. It's long. Eating inside is technically a shorter wait, but still takes forever. As a party of two, we waited about 45 minutes just to get inside, and the outdoor wait looked even worse because of the extreme hype surrounding their patio/outdoor space. That said, one thing they do really well is letting you order margaritas while you wait. Getting a pitcher made the whole process a lot more tolerable, and honestly, you have to do it. The margaritas were easily the best part of the experience. Once inside, the atmosphere was underwhelming. It's about as standard as it gets for a Mexican restaurant, and it didn't feel like much effort was put into making it memorable. On top of that, it's cash only, which in 2026 feels pretty outdated and inconvenient. Service was friendly, but slow and pretty absent throughout the meal. We didn't feel particularly taken care of. The food itself was just okay. The fajitas were fine, but nothing stood out or made them worth the wait. Overall, this place feels really overhyped. The margaritas are great and definitely help the experience, but they are doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. Without them, this would have been an even lower rating.

This place is awesome. Head to the patio for the most enjoyable dining experience. Great for large groups and spring weather. The staff is attentive and makes sure your glass is never empty. The food was great! We did 2 orders of combo fajitas with queso and guac and a pitcher of margaritas for 5 of us and had 2 days of left overs to take home!

First time here. Long line to be seated but moves pretty quick. Beautiful patio. Service is very fast. Waiter Andrew was very pleasant and knowledgeable. For dinner they only have two options. Enchiladas and fajitas. We got three plates of fajitas which was way more than enough for 5 people. They take photos of you that can be purchased it if you want. 1 for $15 2 for $25. Great place to go to with a group of people.

Stopped by Joe T. Garcia's for a quick lunch on my way to a conference and it ended up feeling like a mini escape. The outdoor seating is so charming lush plants, colorful flowers, and a peaceful fountain that makes you want to stay awhile. I had the chicken fajita bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The margaritas were definitely tempting but I behaved and stuck with water... next time for sure. Only minor thing, there was water on the floor going into and inside the bathroom, which could be a slipping hazard. A "wet floor" sign would definitely help. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxed vibe. Such a great little getaway in the middle of the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The courtyard is honestly breathtaking. This is not the best Mexican food that I've ever had however it is definitely worth visiting. The ambience and service are top notch and we did not leave there feeling like we were price gouged - not a tourist trap. Their prices could definitely be higher since they are always busy with a line, but they do not take advantage of the customer in my opinion. Portions are large with complimentary chips and salsa. We would return if we are ever back in Fort Worth.

The fajitas were delicious, and the margaritas were strong and flavorful. Service was a little slow, but the server was very friendly and the restaurant was extremely busy. Our food still came out pretty quickly, so the wait wasn't bad at all. The patio was fabulous and made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth visiting overall!

Visiting Fort Worth. Went there on a Thursday afternoon. Already ate, but still decided to pay a visit for their infamous Garden because my Gemini AI told me to -- and was not disappointed! The Garden is indeed gorgeous -- felt like I stepped in time and into another country. Already had a Salisbury Stake at Paris Coffee Shop half an hour ago; I just couldn't eat anymore. So I decided to try their desserts with their house coffee instead. Had 3 of their desserts: Sopapillas, Parlines, Leche Quemada. All amazing. My favorite was their Leche Quemada -- soft, moist and chocolatty. The atmosphere, the servers and all of the staffs are amazing! Especially their hospitality -- out of this world. I wanna take a moment to talk about my server, DANIELLA, for a second -- amazing young lady: attentive; very fast and efficient but not rushing; clearly loves her job and very good at it. She checked-in with me multiple times, asked me how I like it and if I need anything. Topped up my coffee. When I ordered my third dessert, she also brought me a little bag with her and said "here's a bag to take it you if you can't finish it". Well. She was right; I couldn't indeed finish it. I don't even know myself that well. Somehow she did. Being able to know your customers at this level is a gift.

    Margarita was fine, nothing exceptional

Ambiance of this establishments patio is perfect, margaritas were strong and cold. Service was par. Food I'd absolutely never recommend or suggest. Food is literally about like eating taco casa or Taco Bell imo.

Our party of 5 arrived around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and had no wait. We took our time ordering and the food still arrived before 5:00pm. The chips and salsa were delicious. The chicken fajitas are delicious and large portions. If you're not as hungry, 2 people could split. The chicken quesadilla was yummy as well, but the guacamole was the star of the show! The restaurant is indoor and outdoors and has a great vibe! We will return!

Iconic spot for Mexican food. Eating indoor or outdoor with lovely decoration. The workers are very efficient. These workers feed hundreds of people at a time very efficient. There is always a line of people who want to eat at this iconic location, so be ready to wait a bit. Today, my husband and I shared the beef fajita lunch. When eating chips and salsa beforehand, this is more than enough to share. We even took some fajita meat home. Some of the items come to the entire table to be passed around and shared. The guacamole and the pico went with the fajitas. There was plenty of flour tortillas.

Most beautiful patio in Metroplex. Margaritas are best and I personally love the food.

Located in the Stockyards and part of Marriott Bonvoy's Autograph Collection, the Drover somehow managed to feel luxurious, western, cozy, and lively all at once! The outdoor spaces are stunning and incredibly relaxing and I loved all of the murals around! A huge shoutout to Victor, the bartender working that Friday afternoon. I gave him a very vague idea of what I was in the mood for and he definitely understood the assignment. He crafted me some sort of elevated fruity ranch-water-adjacent cocktail that was refreshing, delicious, and one of the many highlights of the afternoon. I completely forgot the name of it but I remember enjoying it - so much so that I ordered another one during lunch :) One of our other friends joined us later for drinks and lunch and, somehow, everyone except me managed to trip over the grass at one point or another. Oh, and not too mention, the great landscaping entertainment... haha! We can't all be perfect!! All in all, the Hotel Drover feels very welcoming even if you aren't staying overnight. You can also have an outdoor party, ceremony, or reception outside (for 50 guests max). I didn't get a look at their outdoor space, but based on the inside, I'm sure it's wonderful. I attended a wedding ceremony and reception here a few weeks ago, and it was pretty awesome for the wedding party and bride to come up that beautiful spiral staircase, emerging into the center of the room before they walked down the "aisle." Very unique and dramatic. After the ceremony, guests went downstairs for hors d'oeuvres and wine while the staff rearranged the upstairs from ceremony seating to reception tables, chairs, and a dance floor. The curving central stairway makes for a unique grand view of the wedding party making their appearance by ASCENDING into the party space rather than a more typical descend; it made for great photos! I attended a wedding at this venue, so I'm guessing that they cater as well. The appetizer buffet was well presented and the offerings were prepared to the best expected. I don't think it fair to review the main meal since the wedding party had an extended photo session; therefore the food was served after a long time in warming mode. But, if you're planning a wedding or special event I would definitely encourage a consideration based on just the location, especially if you live in Fort Worth.
