All the children enjoyed riding the horses and playing the games, but my biggest surprise was how much they enjoyed panning for "gold". My party was 3 hours long and the children were occupied and enjoying themselves the entire time. Not only did the kids have a good time, all the adults commented on what a relaxing atmosphere the ranch was. We are now planning an "adult only day".

Never has my nervous system been as calm as when I got the chance to consistently be around horses. I am honoured to have been able to work beside Michael and learn from his experiences in horsemanship. In my eyes it was truly an enriching experience to see how we can teach a horse to trust again through consistent presence, training and care. Overall working with the animals and Michael has helped me attain much confidence in my abilities. Hopefully I'll come back in the near future.

The trail was nice, shady and everyone riding their bikes on the trail were very friendly and would wait for you to pass. We rode Moonshine and Dude and they were both great. The horses know the way and follow your guide, so it's great for beginners. There's also parking in site, and our guide took photos for us while we were on the trail. The trail was beautiful: shady sections, little creeks to cross, gentle up-and-down hills, and tons of lush green scenery all around. We passed several bikers and hikers, and every single one was super respectful of the horses and politely gave us the right of way. The horses themselves were awesome. calm and steady, with just the right amount of playful sass to keep it interesting. We left smiling and already talking about coming back. Katie is an amazing guide who has lifelong experience with horses, and is great with people, too. Our horses were great for the level we chose, and we had a really nice, fun ride. Also, this place has some of the most beautiful horses I have ever seen as well. this ranch is very beginner friendly as well. this was probably my third time in my life riding on a horse.
