I had to hire another planner who did the job in 3 weeks. I hired Veronica in May for my baby's birthday and 7 months later still nothing was done and she refused to give me back my money. She then texted me extremely threatening texts almost 3 months after my event to remove my one star review or she will sue me. She would then block me and then unblock me and continue to send threatening messages. This woman wants to keep her shady business practice behind wraps. She also threatened me about someone else leaving her a bad review. Her google reviews are mainly all one star reviews. She is the worst thing to ever happen to me. I wish I contacted the other party planning business before I came into contact with this evil person. I have included screen shots of her harassment. I have informed the police department and will take all legal measures should she continue to threaten and harass me. Her number is listed to show you she is the evil person behind these texts. Oh and she kept my money and did no work for what I paid her for. Keep that in mind. Google her. There is nothing but bad things written about her all over the internet let alone her google reviews. I should have read about all her unhappy customers and negative articles written To Veronica's comment: YOU are an absolute liar. I don't need to speak on whatever crap you're saying because a simple search of your google reviews will show all of the horrible reviews you have. If you google "blue ivy and Beyoncé" you can see articles of Beyoncé asking for a restraining order against this awful woman. Poor excuse for a human being! Literally everything she wrote in her response to my comment is a lie and don't entertain her BS! One simple google search will SHOW all her unhappy customers dating back YEARS!

Being in the wedding industry myself, I am extremely picky about who to entrust on our big day. Having a wealth of contacts to plan our own wedding, we undoubtedly knew Veronica was THE ONE for us! From our first interview with her she was on point, meticulous and had a back up plan for our "back up plan". She listened to our needs and wedding vision, kept me motivated and on time with my checklists and truly "got it". From day one I conveyed to her that we were looking for a "bulldog" day of coordinator/Superwoman that could handle a large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen), large family, out of towner guests and whatever drama might enfold. I wanted someone as detailed as I am, if not more but who truly cares and understands the entire process. We found all that in Veronica, and then some! Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She has her templates, checklists and timelines down to a science. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I am aware of). That's what I call a GREAT day of coordinator. I was never concerned or bothered by things that came up because it was fixed before I even knew about it. She was there for us until the very end which was 1:00 AM and was so attentive and checked in on us often!! LOVE that! By the way, she's so much fun and had a blast singing/dancing along with her and our FAB DJ. Our family and friends fell in love with her as well, that I almost forgot she was my planner. :) In a good way that is. She was extremely professional but was so down to earth, she was like family. She's a friend for life!! I highly recommend her and her team. In conclusion: Do yourself a favor, stop looking and call Veronica for your big day!

To set the stage: I'm an incredibly organized person; I own a business, I love an Excel sheet, I live in to-do lists. I was pretty convinced I could plan a wedding on my own. But the second my now husband and I met Sara, we knew we couldn't have the stress-free, all fun, no-issues day we wanted without Sara. She immediately understood how I make decisions and presented everything strategically and directly handled the things we didn't care about but needed to get done. She knew what my husband wanted to be involved in and what she could come to me directly to discuss. She listened, she communicated, and most importantly she shared her incredible knowledge with us every step of the way - from the tasting to the rentals. There's just so much about the wedding industry that, unless you're in it for years, you'll never even think to ask, never know what you can negotiate and what you have to suck it up and pay for. To get everyone's immediate question out of the way - Sara's fees are incredibly reasonable, both for full planning if you choose to do so (which I HIGHLY recommend you do) or day-of coordinating. But more importantly, she easily paid for herself time and time again through helping us negotiate down fees, managing a couple tricky/difficult vendors, and surprising us with amazing touches throughout our wedding weekend (for example, Sara knew my favorite local farm florist that we unfortunately weren't allowed to work with at our wedding venue, so she surprised me on our rehearsal dinner by bringing in my favorite blooms!). On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant Chelsea had every aspect covered, including handling things we didn't even know were an issue - for instance, we apparently ran low on vodka during cocktail hour, but only knew when we saw Sara calmly strolling back into the venue with a box of five handles of Titos. That peace of mind is exactly what you need on your day. Trust me. Just book Sara and thank me later.

I needed to figure out a way that I could create this amazing wedding without forcing my family and friends to be at the wedding venue setting everything up hours before the ceremony. The term "wedding planner" was not appealing to me. I did not need someone to pick out my invitations or tell me how the tables should look. She knew the schedule and set up like the back of her hand. When the timing of certain day-of activities changed last minute, she made sure to let me know of the changes and the night went on without issue. If it were not for COVID and my anxieties around how it would affect our wedding I likely would not have looked for an outside coordinator- our venue did provide one that began to work closely with us (and Allison) in the month or so before the wedding and I truly believe she would have done a comparable job in the day-of execution. But it's the long term commitment to the planning process that makes Without a Hitch special. And while our venue did not host many weddings during COVID, Without a Hitch planned so many, and had the experience and suggestions that made the wedding feel as normal as it possibly could. They specialize in non-traditional, same-sex, and green weddings (though I think they do other non-wedding events, parties, etc. too). We were coming from out of town and looking for an elopement package at a Boston-area hotel without success. Most of them said they had no space to hold the small ceremony at the hotel other than in a bedroom suite (I think it's kind of weird to get married in a bedroom!). Anyway, I came across It's About Time via a web search and I'm so glad that I used them to help me plan everything. Bernadette was extremely responsive to all of our emails and questions, was flexible with all of our requests, seemed to know exactly what she was doing, had great suggestions for vendors that were a perfect match for us, and made the day exactly as we envisioned. All of their wedding packages are custom made so you can include whatever is important to you, and skip the other stuff. Since we were coming from out of town and were a little stressed out about figuring out all the license and waiting period waiver stuff, she picked us up from the airport, personally took us directly to the clerk's office and the courthouse, and basically led us through the whole process! She found us a delightful little B&B that I never would have been able to locate on my own, and arranged for us to hold the ceremony in a common area there. She also found us a really fun photographer and am amazing officiant who was perfect for what we were looking for. Ditto on the flowers, cake, etc. Every detail was handled perfectly and we were able to really relax and just enjoy the weekend knowing she was taking care of all the details for us. And I thought the price for our package was quite reasonable. Anyway, I can't believe this company hasn't been written up yet but I'm glad to spread the word. I'd highly recommend It's About Time for couples coming from out of town, same-sex couples, and anyone else looking for someone to help make your wedding ceremony really special and customized and exactly the way you envision it.

Through out the wedding week, I cannot count how many times I said the words "I love Emilie"... "I…read morelove this girl"... "What would I have done without her...". Words cannot express how fortunate my husband and I were to have hired Pink Orchid Weddings (Emilie). I first met Emilie in 2010 during my good friend Martha's wedding and witnessed first hand the great work Emilie produced. It wasn't until my actual wedding that I REALLY understood how much goes into her job and how good she is at what she does. While my wedding was in Boston, I planned it from Philadelphia. I consider myself a relatively organized and relaxed bride, but even I managed to fall victim to the stress of planning a wedding. Even with the random curve balls that were thrown at Emilie (last minute vendors being added 3 days before the wedding, trolley companies backing out,...etc) Emilie always kept her cool and helped me prioritize and organize myself. While professionalism and attentiveness are just a couple of the many positive traits that she will showcase when you work with her, what it all boils down to is that she is simply a truly good person who loves her job. For example, after a long wedding day. Emilie went above and beyond her duties and gave the exhausted bride (me) a lift to the hotel. While it is strange to say I went home with my wedding coordinator, it honestly was not weird at all! While this is by no means part of her job, it just demonstrates how dedicated she is to her job and how thoughtful of a person she is. I highly recommend Pink Orchid Weddings. I can honestly say that my wedding would not have been nearly as memorable if I did not have Emilie there by my side.

After getting engaged and deciding to plan a wedding 3000 miles away from my venue and never having been to a wedding as an adult, i realized that I should probably get some help. I had no idea what really happens during a wedding never mind how to plan a wedding! So I found Pink Orchid through my photographer Shang Chen of Shang Chen Photography who HIGHLY recommended this company. I looked through the photos on their webpage and was a little worried that my wedding wouldn't be fancy enough for them but after chatting via email I decided to meet up with Emilie while I was in Boston. I immediately liked her and realized quickly that she placed no judgement on my budget (and mostly DIY) wedding. I hired her as our Day of Coordinator. This was by far the best decision I could have made in my wedding planning process. Emilie sent me a monthly checklist to keep me on track during my year long planning process and was always available via email for any questions I had. A month or so before the wedding Emilie and I had our first phone consultation (this wasn't an in-person meeting because she's in Boston and I was in CA). We spoke for several hours going over every single detail of my ceremony and reception. After getting all of my details in order she set up this amazing list of all of my vendors and what they were providing me and she personally followed up with all of them. She also provided me with a timeline of events down to the minute! Now, this sounds kind of anal (well, it did to me at first...) but it wasn't. She just had a good grasp on how the day should go and was able to put it all down on paper in an orderly way that I never could have done in a million years. The morning of my wedding, Emilie arrived bright and early to our hair appointment and checked in with me before she went to our venue. When I got to the venue she already had everything rolling. She filled me in on what had arrived and made sure that I was doing well. I felt so calmed by her presence, knowing that everything was going to be set up exactly as I had wanted (or better). She worked with my venue coordinator to make sure the food and service went well and worked with my other vendors to make sure that they were providing to me what they had promised. Emilie was there to help fix my flower girl's pomander when it broke. She was there when the lunch hour became a little boring and helped moved the timeline along faster to get the dancing started. It's those little things throughout my day that I didn't want my mom or I to think about or stress out about and Emilie made sure that we didn't stress out about anything. Emilie helped take down all of the elements that they had put up that morning and had it all packed up in boxes ready to be put in cars. Through set up and take down she was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Emilie and Pink Orchid Weddings for anyone getting married who needs a little (or a lot) of help. The service was a little pricy, but my cross-country planning self needed some reassurance that everything was going to work out that day and it did. My wedding was absolutely amazing and I owe a part of that to Emilie.
