I've wanted to go to the K Ranch for some time. So today I ask my daughter and family to go with me. Food was good. I asked waitress to bring me the bill when it was ready. My son in law also asked after me. At the end, the waitress started showing my son in law the bill on her hand held device. I told her that I asked for the bill since I chose to come there, and invited my family. She said that she Normally would give the bill to whoever asks first but when a man steps up, she decided this time that she would give it to him and proceeded to lecture me on how at my age I should let him take care of it. I was insulted and angry. I will never go to the K Ranch again. And for the record, my name isn't Sweetie. This server was rude. When she asked how I wanted my pattie melt done I said not raw but cooked through. She had a tone, How do you want your meat done. She can use that tone on someone else from now on. read more

Unsanitary is the word I would use to describe this dump. My glass of water grossed me out so badly that we got up and left. Not only was there chunks of what looked like fish poop floating around in my water, but it was all stuck to the inside of the glass too. When I brought the glass over to the waitress to explain, she quickly snatched the glass out of my hand and said, "ok thank you," and turned and walked away before I could even say 3-4 words. So I thought, forget it, and I left. I'm not one to complain or make a big deal out of nothing, but she was rude and the water was beyond disgusting, so I'm not going back there anymore. read more

Went for a late Christmas party for the family. We were seated in their secondary room that looks like a dance hall for square dancing. And the quality of the furniture looked the same. The chairs were quite uncomfortable. It was during the nfl playoffs and in the main room all the TVs were on to the game yet none were even turned on in our secondary room. There was a back door being used to go outside for a different party to smoke. Every time that door opened the smoke wafted in. Thank god it wasn't cold because it happened nonstop the entire time we were there. Multiple utensils were dirty but the waitress was never around to really complain to. Although we didn't inquire it ourselves that the time our waitress never offered to split the bill which would helped. Menus weren't all the same adding some confusion. For advertising as a supper club it was definitely not a supper club experience. They had no issues though having super club pricing including charging separate for sides and up selling them. Finally coming to the food. I can't speak for everyone but I have myself and two others experiences to report. I ordered the wings with two unique sauces. They ordered the K Bano sandwich and the K Burger. The wings sauces were very good. I loved them. But the actual wings though were poor quality. They definitely did not taste fresh at all. It ruined the meal to have such good sauce on such bad chicken meat. The K Bano sandwich is supposed to be their version of a cubano sandwich. The pull pork was dry and had no seasoning or sauce. The ham tasted old. They advertised a spicy brown mustard but used a coarse stone ground Dijon. The K Ranch burger is standard specialty burger. It was ordered no onions or tomatoes. When the waitress arrived she confirmed the change. When he bit into it though, there was still onions on it. Overall how they advertised being remodeled and rebranded was blatant lie. They are still a bar that sells food. And the quality is definitely not a supper club. We will not be going back and not recommending this place to anyone. read more

Went to the k Saturday night and had the worst lasagna ever ! So much for the Saturday special. Been here many times never had a bad meal until this rotten lasagna. When the waitress brought it out to the table the hope was it will taste better then it looks. After forking further into it the taste was worse then it looked. When the waitress came to the table and asked how are meals tasted I mentioned what I thought, she asked if I wanted to take it home. I would be worried about contaminating the garbage by putting the lasagna into it. read more

We went for a fish fry, fish fry was ok. The whole place just seemed weird..the set up the crowd ...I don't know. The waiter was very good and nice. French onion soup was good nothing outstanding. The bread basket that everyone raved about was cold sliced Italian bread and garlic crouton bread.. The salad was lettuce onion tomato and cucumber it was fine. The scallops were good. The fries were just regular fries and the ranch seemed to be not made there. It was very average. Nothing really bad but nothing really great/good. read more

Few weeks later we made reservations and still could not be seated even though there were plenty of open tables. Had to chase down the hostess and she finally seated us. Then the long wait for food. People who sat down after us got their food before us. Said it was due to the new kitchen remodel? Don't think I will be back until they get their act together. read more

I have visited several times and the prime rib is excellent! Tonight I decided to take a different approach. The pepper jack shot are amazing. The wings cannot be beat. We had dinner on a Saturday night with reservations. We were seated and served promptly. Our server was quick and friendly. The portions were large and the price was VERY reasonable!! GREAT service!! Went there on saturday night to hang out and drink with some friends and came back on sunday to watch the Packer game. It was the same bartender there when we left at 2am and when we came back at noon!! That's a trooper. She made us feel like old friends, that really makes or breaks a place in my book. They had free food at half time, some pork and beans and the fixin's and it was home-made delicious. Will definitely go back, especially when jenny is working. read more

My wife and I found this place on our weekly Friday restaurant hunt. I heard it was recently bought buy the same guy who owned South Woods (very good btw) so despite the industrial back door of Cudahy that it was in I was hoping other aspects would make up for it. Took 10 minutes to be seated when the hostess told us every other minute that we were going to be seated immediatly. When we were seated there was old food on my seat. The waitress was nice but seemed overwhelmed (the place was packed with non taste bud having geriatrics). The atmosphere was horrible like we were in the basement of a church throwing a teen dance. The PRIME RIB was ordered medium came out GRAY, my wife was served some one elses order. I'm glad I asked about the potatos because the red potatos are unseasoned so I ordered the baked potato with sour cream. It came out uncut and shrivled and look more like a stool sample then something edible...oh and the sour cream...came in squeeze packet. I set the bar pretty low for this place and they could even reach that. Please...if you still have your taste buds and know what decent food is supposed to be please try the next place. read more

The only reason I am giving a four star rating is because I have been a customer for years and have enjoyed your food and service. Tonight was different, however. I just ordered carry out tonight. The girl who answered the phone did not know the menu very well. After placing my order, I asked, " How long do you think?", as I wanted to know approximately what time to pick up my food. Reasonable question? Am I wrong? She said to me, "I ain't thinking!" and promptly hung up on me. I have worked in the service industry for years. This is just unacceptable! Had this been my first experience with Joe's KRanch, it would have been my last. I was not even certain she was going to put my order in. I went to look in the dining room to see 9 empty tables.I would have eaten and been gone before half those reservations showed up.Go to final approach instead,primes just as good and much better service. read more

My review is primarily based on their Prime Rib, it is excellent!!! If you are in the mood for prime rib this is the place to be! The meals are heavily portioned and include a potato side, soup, salad an bread. Soup is a tad salty. The one thing I hope they change is their water. It tastes horrible! read more

We have been there many times and have always been very pleased. I don't know if they were short on staff or what. Our steaks were dried out and the prime rib was cold. We were a party of 4. Two did not get their potato. Our coffee carafe barely filled 3 cups and took forever to get a refill. Our very pregnant daughter-in-law asked for a Sprite for a beverage and the waitress plopped down a can. She did say she would bring a glass with ice but never did. Half way through the meal the hostess came and apologized for how slow things were going for us. We asked for a glass & she brought it with ice right away. When we told her we did not get potatoes for two of our orders, she said she would tell out waitress. Well, by the time our waitress got back to us, we were all finished with our meals. She asked if we wanted them to go. So yeah, our son got to bring home French fries to reheat & my husband got to bring home a container of 3 little dried up red potatoes. Just an awful experience. Nothing was taken off the price of our order either, But many apologies. It was supposed to be a celebration for our son and wife as they just bought a house. Very disappointing. It will be a while before we chance to go there again. :( read more
