Been wanting to try NY joes for awhile! We called and ordered takeout. It was an hour wait. No biggie. It was a Saturday night around 5, so that was expected. I ordered 2 XL pizzas. The pizza was great, but i cannot justify spending $70 on 2 pizzas. I could've gotten a lot more from other surrounding pizza places for that price. Have to dock a star for the overpricing. read more

Everything we have had is great. Pizza is great. I love their salad. Vegetables are fresh and cut to eat. Most places don't cut the veggies in bite size pieces. Joe's does. Love it! They have the best blue cheese dressing !!! read more

My family and I went here for the buffet. It was good for the price I guess. Had a good variety of pizzas and bread sticks. A nice little salad bar also. Very disappointed. Not worth the wait or price. We love good pizza and were in town visiting family and the menu looked great so we wanted to try it. Placed online order and was quoted 45 minutes or so. Got there to pick up and it wasn't ready. Ok no big deal it's Friday night so understand that it might take a bit longer. Well apparently our order had been forgotten and sat out on the rack without being actually put in the oven. Not once was this communicated while standing there waiting. Total wait time was 1 hour and 40 minutes and it looks like frozen pizza. Did not request thin crust but looks like that's what we got on 2 of the 3 pizzas we ordered. The toppings are bare minimal and the dough definitely doesn't taste fresh. Maybe it is but it's pretty sad if so. I'm being completely honest when I say save your money and just eat about anywhere else if this is typical for them. We paid $65 for a small cheese pizza, a small margherita and a large combo pizza :(. Little Caesars would have been better. read more

Went to JNY Pizza this week got some amazing wings and my wife spinach ravioli she said was delicious.

My husband liked the pizza, but the ordering and picking up is a 1star. They gave us boneless wings instead of all flats. Not to mention they forgot the salad. We waited almost 35 mins on a pick up order bc they had to redo most of it. The Mgr did apologize and offered the boneless as well. Take out process definitely needs some work. read more

During a recent visit to Seneca for our granddaughter's graduation, we stopped by Joe's Pizza Buffet, as my daughter frequently speaks highly of a bartender there named Haley. We specifically chose to sit at the bar to see what all the praise was about -- and we were not disappointed. Despite a busy lunch, Haley provided exceptional service. She was friendly, engaging, and remarkably attentive throughout our visit. My husband enjoys his drinks, and she ensured our glasses were never less than half full. Our food arrived in a timely manner, especially impressive given the full house in both the dining area and the bar. The food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was outstanding. Our waitress seemed disorganized. Our orders were taken later our drinks came. Then we had to ask for straws. Our salad finally came out. We were given our salads but no silverware. We had to ask for silverware. One of our pizzas came out and the waitress Sid the other one will be coming shortly. 10 minutes later after the couple we weee with ate have the pizza I got tired of waiting and got up and went to her. I asked her about our pizza she said oh yeah. She got it and brought it to us it was not hot because it sat. We finally left. I understand everybody is busy but a paying customer should not have terrible service. read more

Time to give Joe's an updated review. I think I may be one of the first to give them Yelp review 12 yrs ago! I've been a fan of this place since we discovered Lake Keowee 20+ years ago. It was great then when it was located by the movie theater on rte 123 and it's great now at its new location. We have many fond memories of this place with the family eating their largest pie after a busy day on the lake! I order a meatball sub, a maple old fashioned. Sub was perfect. Just like New York! The cocktail was a bit too sweet but the bartender addressed that quickly and I couldn't have been any happier. After my trauma at Carolina pizza of walhalla (see last review) a few weeks ago; it was nice to be treated well and served a great hot meal. And btw, yes they still give you a bag of chips with your meal! read more

In town on business and this restaurant was near the hotel I was staying in. The best pizza I have had in years!! The next night I had the lasagna and again it was fabulous just like the pizza had been. If I lived in Seneca I would order from here several times a week. The food is a 10. The atmosphere is a 5. Nice pizza bar with good selections and flavor assortment. The dessert pizzas are a must - they had a couple fall specials including apple cinnamon and pumpkin spice that were amazing! We are visiting the area from Michigan. We tried the Seneca location for dinner. We were pleased to meet Brad and Emery. Tonight was a night they were understaffed in the kitchen, but Brad was not letting that affect him. We were greeted by Emery, who took our order by memory and helped educate us on the SC liquor laws. Brad was chatting with every table making sure that everything was going smoothly. I heard him say to another table, "as long as you are here, you are considered family." He helped move our order along a bit faster in the kitchen, which shortened our wait time. Before we left, (it was almost closing and things weren't quite as busy, Brad chatted with us, and shared some of his life story. My initial impression of him was his positivity, and overall pleasant vibe-but after our conversation I had so much more respect for him. This is truly a man who looks at life with only positivity. We used to go to Joe's even during the Covid we order and it's in the parking lot used to be a favorite went in there this evening ordered a calzone had them add jalapeño so I got charged $1.99 per item for jalapeño onion it's something else I don't know their menu says $1.49 which is nothing but I've had it before and all I wanted was added jalapeño I just called the manager she said too bad and the menu even says $1.49 anyway I'll never go back so $6 dollars extra for jalapeño you could keep it read more

Pizza was awesome. We got ours to go. While at the counter waiting I watched a heavy set male with long hair and a ponytail play with/touch his hair several times. He would then touch the dough balls and then start making calzones with his bare hands. He then picked up several wooden utensils and smelled them. I'm just glad i didn't order a calzone. read more

We told our server at the very beginning we were on a lunch HOUR and ordered our drinks and food at the same time. We were told the little pizzas only take about 5 minutes. Evidently not. Food came out after about 35 minutes. We weren't told our salad had to come from the salad bar. . . . finally go those when we asked. Salad bar was sparse at best. Several items missing. Not a big fan of this "new" lunchtime menu, etc. We used to be able to get in and out and back to work in plenty of time. We were over 10 minutes late today. It also took FOREVER to get checked out. Server told us not good at math. No kidding! 5 tickets should not take 15 minutes to check out. Of course, there was a beer to come pour in the meantime. . . . . Unexpectedly good pizza in the South Carolina community of Seneca. We were in the area for a week at Lake Keeowee with a group of 16. After a week of cooking we decided to have pizza on our last night and I noticed this spot on our daily trips to the grocery store. We were feeding 11 that night and ordered one 18" and one 12" (medium) which turned out to be the perfect amount. The 18" was cut into large squares and most of the adults had 2 squares. I was pleasantly surprised by the great flavor of the sauce and the crispy crust. I'm glad I called ahead for carry out as when I got there, their small parking lot was filled to overflowing with cars even parked on the grass. The place is pretty small with seating for maybe 40 or so and there were several people waiting for tables on Friday night. If you are looking for a tasty pizza, I'd give them a try. read more

Best pizza and service around. We try a new pizza every time and I don't think we had one we didn't like. The cheese garlic knots are great. The wigs are awesome. We like sitting in the section with the bar because the staff back there is awesome. They are great servers and they get to know you and have a great time. When we walk back there they always great us and strike up conversations with everyone. This is definitely the place to go for pizza and a great atmosphere. read more

The food was great and so was the service. The only issue, and what will keep us from coming back, is the price. Just about everything on the menu is ~30% overpriced compared to other places for similar fare. On top of that their "large" pizza is no bigger than a 12" medium anywhere else so $20+ for a one topping "large"is way off base. The chocolate layer cake we had for dessert was amazing, but again this was $9. If the food was 25-30% less expensive we would come all the time, but for a hole in the wall pizza joint we likely won't return. read more

It's not been easy to find good pizza in this area. But some neighbors recommended Joe's so we ordered, was so ready for a good pie. Sad to say that this wasn't it.
