    Basic salad with raspberry dressing

I've eaten at Joes locations around the metro east. This was a very good location. Despite being slow inside, the service was good and food was amazing. I got the cheese filled tortellini Alfredo with chicken and chefs kiss! The salad was just okay! Definitely a bar vibe if that's your thing! Parking that I could see was on the street. Overall, I would come back.

Friendly staff and excellent pie. It was our last stop through Illinois and the last chance to try some Chicago deep dish. Joes didn't disappoint.

Ok so we yelped this place to find something for dinner. Looked good so we came here. It is good. Different but good. We got the antipasta salad and the small was big enough for us to split and was good. Plenty of meat and cheese and it was tasty. Then we ordered a small 2 topping pineapple (yes fruit belongs on pizza). And pepperoni. Again a small was enough to split. The taste was good. I've had better pizza but this was a very good place if I could give it 4.5 I would. Looks like a typical pizza joint. The reason there was a half of a star tick is that their beer selection was pretty commercial. No ipas no craft and no draft. Service was great they know their menu. If you're ever here try it.

This place is a bit out of the way and was recommended to me by some of my coworkers so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly the pizza was a bit underwhelming. The first pizza I got was per the person who picked up the phone when I ordered and I got the Chicago style. When I received it, the base of the pizza was raw and doughy but the very bottom was cooked. She explained to me that they use two ovens to make sure that it's cooked but somehow there was still raw dough at the bottom. The second time I got a pizza from them it was a thin crust chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza that was honestly alright but a bit salty. The third thing I've eaten from here (I visited Joe's 3 times in 3 days) was the chicken alfredo hoping to get a different experience but the pasta noodles were overcooked, the sauce was tad generic and under seasoned. The chicken was fine. The salad was a bit plain but well done. The garlic bread was fairly good. It not only had butter and garlic but some sort of Cajun seasoning. All in all, would I get a pizza from here in the future? Sure, it would be a thin crust something. Would I opt to go here rather than another place? Who knows? Its prices are somewhat comparable to other establishments but the question remains, what does this place do better or different and honestly I don't have a good answer.

    Fried mushrooms that were delicious!

Sauce on pizza and spaghetti is waaaaay to sweet. If changed Sauce it would be good. Italian sauce should not be this way

Best pizza AND best wings in town. Everyone knows about pizza and pasta but don't miss out on the wings as well.

Thin crust was perfect & the sauce was delicious...the only complaint is they could have added more of the ingredient we ordered.

I've been all over this country eating wherever I go and let me tell you good people of Mount…read moreVernon: you don't know just how good you have it by having this restaurant in town. Best pork chop of my life. Amazing mashed potatoes. The pickle fries? We ordered a second round of them; they were so good. The Italian lemonade (alcohol) was fantastic. Service was amazing. Half price apps when we came in. And prices of the food overall? Yall are getting Olive Garden prices for some of the best food you may ever have. I've had mashed potatoes at all the chain steak houses. I've had French fries everywhere. I've eaten at fairly fancy ritzy places in Vegas, NYC, San Francisco, San Antonio, Boston. All over. And literally this is some of the best food I've ever had. TRY THE PORK CHOPS. And we also appreciate being treated nicely even though my friend group was dressed up or goth girls night lol. We looked out of place but felt at home and left very very happy ladies.

One of the oddest cheeseburgers I can recall ever ordering. While I admire the chef's /…read morerestaurant's enthusiasm to do something exotic, here, it didn't work. It's about execution. The meat was quite odd, both in consistency and taste. If I had to guess, they took reject pieces from their steaks and ground them up, perhaps several days ago? You couldn't cut through it with a fork. It had a strange taste to it. It wasn't at a warm or hot temperature and tasted stale. The onions that they added were delicious, but way too minuscule in size and bulk to have any taste impact. The bun was ordinary, despite their raving and reliance on its quality, and it being a Kaiser roll. The burger lacked customary garnish. Why I order cheeseburgers at high end establishments? In part? I like the quality thick beefsteak tomato slice and crisp, fresh lettuce. Here? No garnish at all, just a patty with a little cheese and onion. If the patty was fresh black angus and juicy, without the weird consistency and taste present here, and had they lavished it with mountains of similar onion and more cheese? --The risky and odd approach to making a cheeseburger might have proven successful. For this cheese to suffice, it, too, would have needed to be more pungent in taste, and abundant in presence. You could barely taste it. The mashed potatoes were quite good but way too salty. I literally crunched down on some salt crystals. That's when you know there's inordinate salt. Weird service and rock hard chairs made this bizarre stop on the way to St. Louis/ Denver more painful to savor. What irritates me was that I had to order a Caesar salad just to obtain roughage. And when you take the $30 for the salad and burger combined into account? That's a lot for such an odd experience. In summary, anyone who watches and implements the Gordon Ramsay Fword cheeseburger recipe on YouTube will end up with a vastly superior cheeseburger. In this town, while I am visiting only, from what I've read and seen in reviews, I'd recommend instead the frosty mug for basic food along these lines. A $24 burger better be pretty darned special to attract this sort of tab. This was just weird, not great. Sorry, no photos.
