The owner is clearly having a mental health crisis in the presence of customers. Many restaurants permit patrons to bring in a cake to celebrate. It is insane to see a business owner becoming completely unhinged in the middle of the establishment, humiliating a patron who asked for a knife. Very difficult to get any of the employees to agree on what menu items are vegetarian and what isn't. For these prices they should have a separate menu all worked out. Even offer some vegan options? The atmosphere in this place is very tense when you ask for answers to questions that should be easy. read more

My future grandmother in law lives in Manasquan so there are a bunch of pizza spots between there and Point Pleasant that we like to go to. This won't be one of them. Based on the Facebook video and the family's description of what happened, the owner's reaction seemed completely unprofessional. If they really called ahead, got permission to bring a birthday cake, and then were treated that way over asking for a knife, that's a terrible way to handle paying customers--especially during a child's birthday celebration.
