I have tried 99% of every single pizza joint in Monmouth County and as far as straight slices go, nothing comes close to Vesuvio. Right in the heart of Point Pleasant and been there for like 50 years. Sauce is semi-sweet and cheese is totally high grade. Nicest guys and hands down the best pizza in Monmouth and Ocean. Got the Sicilian and garlic cheesy bread, Sicilian was thick, saucy and cheesy, just the way it should be, dough had a nice flavor to it too, garlic bread was good, nothing special but a nice side with some marinara dipping sauce, def would get the pie again, it's enough for 6-8 people read more

If i could rate less than one star I would. I went into the store at 10 to 9. They close at 9 pm. I asked for a large pizza and the guy turned around and said I'm not making a pizza for you. I asked why not and they said they were closing. I asked what time they said 9. I said it's not 9 yet. They still refused me. I have worked for many years in food service. You want to treat your customers right you serve and take orders until the time you close. Then once those orders are done you clean up and go home.
