A la carte menu ribs, brisket and sausage with some sides.

I wanted to take the boys out for some meat and one suggested this place. I'd never even heard about it but we gave it a try. I'd say the prices are fair compared to other places, especially off the à la carte menu. The he food was decent, the ribs were good but I didn't care for the sides. Overall, I'd bring more people but it's not to die for or anything crazy. The service was good and they do have the flag on the table to call the waiter over which is interesting. The ambiance inside was good but outside seems like the way to go.

I had the 1/2 rack St. Louis ribs with potato salad and baked beans and everything was absolutely delicious. My mom had the 2 beef ribs with baked beans and corn and she loved them. We also shared some corn bread that was also delicious. The ribs were both juicy and tender. I love this place so sad to see it go!

This is a great place. Went for lunch and we tried a few things -Beef Ribs - Baby Back Ribs - Brisket - Sausage Sides - spiced watermelon - corn bread - beans - potato salad - mac n cheese The service was phenomenal. It had an old school vibe. It was clean and has indoor and outdoor seating The meats were overall pretty good. The ribs had a great flavor and bbq sauce was really good. The beef ribs were a good size. Only one part of one of the ribs was dry but the other side was tender and juicy as well as the others. The baby ribs were tender and had great flavor. Our favorite was the brisket. Our least favorite was the sausage. I wasn't a fan because when we bit into a piece it kind of crumbled. Seemed dried out but it had good flavor. The spiced watermelon was refreshing and the cornbread was hot and light. The Mac and cheese was solid. I'm not a fan of mustard based potato salad but my wife is and she really liked it. I didn't taste it but she said the ingredients worked together well but it was just a little mustard flavor forwarded. But she was a fan of it. So people that don't like a mustard flavor might not like it. We were split on the beans. I thought they were ok. Very light flavoring. But my wife absolutely loved it. I'm used to the bbq baked beans with the sweet bbq sauce so again it's your presence.

We stopped by Joey's BBQ because my SO craved bbq. The whole restaurant is large with in door and outdoor seatings. Sadly there weren't a lot of customers, maybe because Riverside is rural? We ordered brisket burnt ends and pulled pork sandwich with corn breads (premium side so additional $4.50) and potato chips. Both are very delicious. I could taste the grill being used from these meat, charcoal usage. I love it. The total of the meal is $53 if paid by cash. The menu lists the cash price, not credit card. Overall it was a nice experience. Meal was served fast. Coke was unlimited refilled as well. Service was fast too because the staff refilled our drinks.

Revisited Joey's in 10 years. The place still looked the same more or less. Took my boys and had huge expectations. Hugely disappointed. So first, before embarking on our trip, we read the most recent reviews. They were right. The food is like a C- My wild guess is that the OG BBQ's and firewood are gone. So the food is made Differently. What a bummer. Unfortunately we don't except going back

SO SO SO GOOOOD, I am so sad that I live far away so I can't come back as often as I wish I could! The service was slow because they were really busy and didn't have many hands on deck but still pretty good besides that! There's such a cute spot outside and I heard there's live music some nights, inside is super homey and cute I loved it! The food was delicious, the baby back ribs the brisket, Fire! I would have to say I don't recommend getting the corn but the corn bread, stole the show I ate it so quick I forgot to snap a picture of it! I can't wait to be back!

We have lived in Chino for over 30 years and Joey's BBQ has always been an awesome BBQ spot. Back in the Johnny Bennett days, if y'all can remember the singer in the patio you are an OG. Well, those days are gone. Went Friday night to revisit Joey's before taking our friends there next week. Glad we did, what a disappointment. As much as we raved to them about the amazing Joey's food, that would have been embarrassing. Not even close to what it once was. Food came out quick, probably because it was already sitting on a plate. The ribs hardly had any meat on them, baked potato was hard lol the corn on the cob was boiled to death...mush on a cob! $43 dollar mediocre meal. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was not very good and her corn was also murdered. We raised the flag for more garlic bread which took 20 minutes to hit the table. What a bummer, sad to see such a once great place head downhill. Total for Rib plate, pulled pork sandwich and two Michelob Ultras $84 ouch! Wouldn't mind if was Joey's BBQ of days past. I guess the only thing that stays the same is that everything is always changing. :( Does anyone know if the Ownership has changed?

Super super solid bbq place in the area. The service is prompt and very good. Ambiance wise - it's what you'd expect. It's a classic American joint and the decor speaks just that :) Highly recommend

Definitely not the same plate!!!!! As they claim.

Went last week and the food and customer service were great. So, I was craving more. I went back a week later to satisfy my craving and ordered the exact same meal, as prior visit (baby back ribs and a burnt ends plate) and I got this (see pic below) Undercooked and not as good as prior meal, by any means. They tried to convince me that it was all in my head and it was the same plate. Also, ordered a plate of burnt ends / Delicious on 1st visit but was soooo fatty and gross today. Won't be back, ever. Instead of comping 4 little pieces of ribs (1 of 4 racks) for the inconvenience, I was still charged. You decide / Does this look like the same meal to you? Didn't think so. Interestingly enough, I typically don't take pics of my food but happened to absolutely love the taste of the ribs. So much so, that I had to show my friend how amazing these ribs were (1st visit). I showed this pic to the waiter of how different the same order looked and he was very helpful, but I was not going to convince him that these ribs were horrible and NOT what I expected. Too much money to have to risk these inconsistencies from one week to another. In final, I don't mind spending on good food, but this is not acceptable and not professionally handled.

This was our family's absolute go-to spot despite other KBBQ in the area. 5/30/26 - I walked in with my wife, our teenager, and two little ones (both 6 and under). Just like we've done every visit, I brought Raising Cane's for the little ones because--shocker--toddlers aren't exactly polishing off massive plates of bulgogi and brisket! The hostess informs me that the kids will now be charged for KBBQ even if they're not KBBQ. I politely explain that my kids literally only eat chicken fingers and air, but she brings over a manager (wearing a very official grey shirt) to double down. Apparently, "new management's" brilliant business model involves squeezing a few extra bucks out of kindergartners who aren't even touching their chopsticks. So, congratulations on permanently losing a 9-year loyal family of customers just to desperately claw at a phantom profit from a 6-year-old. Luckily, there are plenty of shiny new KBBQ spots in Chino Hills and Eastvale that actually understand basic hospitality. Thank you, Wang Cho "new management," for giving us the push we needed to finally try them!

That will be the main reason I probably won't return. The service was good. It was quick and friendly. And the ambiance was alright too as everything was clean, efficient, and not distracting. I just agree with the statement earlier that there are better rice bowl, hawaiian, and/or teriyaki food joints in the area at either a much better quality or better pricing. This seems to find that line where what you get, though good, is a bit over-priced for what you get and there is no recourse to get something smaller because then you will be over-paying and still hungry. I'd almost give this place a 4 though because I did enjoy the meal quality-wise.

Yesterday 7-24-26, we arrived around 4ish, maybe a bit later. We were seated, there were 7 of us. The AC wasn't working and our group was sat near a huge industrial fan. Not the worst thing but somewhat uncomfortable especially when you're cooking. Two people in my part ordered Boba drinks. The waiter kept stating "they are working on your boba". Then he went on to explain that the Boba was on the stove and being cooked. At this point, the waiter should have just said... Boba is not available right now, would you like your drinks without it? They got their Boba drinks literally minutes before I got the check...that was a little over an hour later. The food was fine, the service was fine with the exception of having two people think they are getting their drink shortly and the drinks come out an hour later. Unacceptable.
